I hate packing. I try to start packing early b/c I hate it and no matter how times I've flown, I freak out, but I never know when is a good time to start!

I SO wish I lived close enough to Atlanta for that big Atlanta DIS meet! I really hope to see a flat Jen there!

I may have to make one and express it over to Jackie or Anita!!!! I wish you could make it too...you guys would have such a great time!! It's going to be a great meet!!!!!!

LOL I haven't even thought about getting things cleaned up for Phillip while I'm gone for 2 weeks! I have to do all the laundry so its done and then clean up the house, he'll maintain it I just want it clean!!!!

You'll get the packing figured out-don't sweat it! Pack for a week, plus a few extra shirts (because it's HOT!) and then do laundry. I think the plan we talked about the other day with the extra bag is perfect.

BTW...just throwing this out there...June 2012 is looking to be a mighty fine time to cruise...just saying...come on you know you want to come join us LOL!!!!!!!

My sister waits till the last minute, too, and it seriously gives me a heart attack! Her problem is, she makes a list, then loses it and gets mad...so she doesn't bother making another one, then packs last minute without a list, then has to mooch off me for anything she forgot (like socks. How the heck do you forget socks?!) She went to Disney last month with some friends and had, of course, lost her packing list somewhere between being in school and getting home, so she enlisted me to help her make another one. I strongly suspect it was because I wasn't going and she couldn't borrow my clothes

Well, the house is clean. I ended up delegating. I dusted and mopped, but Connor vacuumed half the house, and Chelsea did the other half and cleaned the bathrooms. I pulled out a bunch of stuff and made piles.

The stack of books is the only thing I feel like I have ready. The Ghost Orchid by Carol Goodman and the new Sookie for me; the new Sarah Dessen for Chelsea, and the new Rick Riordan for Connor.

Just Some Random Thoughts!!!!

Well we keep getting closer and closer to D-day (Departure/Disney whatever adjective that starts with D can work LOL)

Word from Anita is that packing has begun at their house...I can't believe they leave tomorrow morning! I know the excitement is running high!! Tonight she is getting her hair done (LOL I got my done last weekend LOL) and then I'm assuming she'll be up until the wee hours of Friday morning finishing up packing!! What I do know is that the necessities for Baylor have been taken care of!!

So how am I doing on the packing front...hmmm well I have a packing list!! So with that I'm good for an extra couple of days LOL!!!! Actually I should get started on packing because this weekend is going to be busy. I'm going to work graduation on Saturday and that will take the afternoon/evening!! Then Sunday is church which wipes out most of the morning and afternoon. Monday is my nail appointment day and a Memorial Day BBQ so yeah...I have to make sure I get to bank and pack all before then LOL!!!!!

Alright so what else has been going on...apparently my first night at Disney is going to involve some leg wrestling LOL Brook has graciously agreed to take photos and film it if necessary. So what are we going to wrestling over....


Orange SaltWater Taffy!! I made the mistake of mentioning to Anita that apparently when you get your check for Cape May...you also get some taffy! Now this girl loves her taffy...almost in a HM sort of way but not as obsessive...but I do love taffy. Well it turns out so does Anita!! So let's get it on....

In this corner is the Bronze Goddess (That's Anita) and in the other corner Casper's Paler Cousin (that's me...let's just say when my parents named me...they got it right...cuz I'm as white as they come and let's just say the running joke in April/May was that I was going to need at least 4 bottles of sunscreen for this trip and I'm pretty sure I have at least 3 bottles if not more LOL)

So place your bets...who will walk out with the orange taffy LOL!!! (Apparently Marc has decided he needs to go buy some to prevent the bloodshed LOL)

We almost did a 5-night! But, we wanted our first cruise to be longer, and tropical, so the 8-night on June 2 won out. If you guys are sailing out of NYC we gotta have a meet!!
