The Bachelor Jake thread Spoilers welcome

LOL gulity, I feel in love with this show during the Andy Baldwin and Tessa season. I loved seeing there love story.

I really had high hopes for this season, I figured Jake was the real deal. I hope he finds his princess and has his love story as well.

You know - I do think Jake is the real deal. I do think he actually wants to find someone. The producers don't make the show a conducive place to find love though. It's all about drama and ratings these days.

Ali was not dumb. Her employer had nothing to do with it. She was trying to play Jake (and the show) by getting a committment from him asap before she wasted any of her time. She wanted Jake's heart on a platter and she wanted to know if she had it after they came back from Massachusetts. She didn't have Jake so there was no reason to move forward. That's my theory.

Now, this may be true. All I know is that Ali's breakdown didn't add up for me and the job isn't the true reason she left. I DID think to myself several times last night, "She is trying to get him to tell her she's the one." I thought he went far enough when he said, "I don't want you to go. You weren't at risk tonight." But that wasn't enough for her.

It is entirely possible that she wanted him to drop down on one knee and propose to her right there. I do think the producers had their hands in this ... up to their elbows.

If Ali really loved Jake, she would have left her job and stayed - even for a maybe. She would fight for her man and let him know it. The fact that she has doubts says it all. I think she was crying for the lost fairy tale she didn't find. He is stupid if he can't see that.

On one hand, I liked Vienna better after seeing her with her family, but didn't she say she was the rich girl? Her family is definately not rich. Was that dishonest - I think so - doesn't he see that?

In this day and age (and her mortgage/rent) there is no way I would sacrifice my job. And we all know Facebook has been royally messed with the last few months so maybe they did need her.
The thing that gets me is the show and some on here act like if Ali and Jake do not get together now, they never can. She actually showed him her apartment- I think he can find her afterwards if he need to. ;)
Vienna's Dad thinks she will keep his house clean and the kids will be raised right! WTH! :confused3 No way Vienna is cleaning any house.

For what it's worth- our friends say Jake at the movies the other day and he was by himself. :lmao:

"For what it's worth- our friends say Jake at the movies the other day and he was by himself."

I think the producers probably make him do stuff like that to throw us all off...thankfully we have realitysteve to weed through all the BS for us!!

I liked his answer to Ali last night about how her decision should be about minimizing regrets. Good answer.:thumbsup2

Jaded, a bit, are we? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: The Bachelor would NEVER do anything like that. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I think she left and the production crew told her to come back and sit in the hallway crying. I thought that was a bit much even for a reality show.

Not only is the face hold kissing annoying, but having to have EVERY girl sit with their legs in Jake's lap is REALLY annoying. Does he have a calf fetish that makes him do that with EVERY girl? Ali was breaking up with him and he grabbed her legs and put them in his lap. While that could be romantic and nice, you don't do that when a girl is telling you goodbye.

I know! AWKWARD!

I guess with a mortgage, etc. maybe you have to think again. I'm remembering when I was young (21) and in love. I took off to elope with my DH without a 2nd thought. But maybe when you're 26 you are more rational.

ITA agree about Vienna as a housekeeper and mom - NO WAY is she ready for that. Since when does a "princess" do chores? :rotfl2:

IMHO:
Tenley needs therapy as she is still the "poor me, I got treated badly" person! Move on already..........

Vienna is a fake though I did like her best when she was with her family

Gia is beyond strange to me. And her brother, UGH, and the MOM, "let me read your cards" I mean where do they find these people? :rotfl2: Run Jake, Run!

Ali: UH, she wanted a commitment and Jake did not give it to her. She wants to be "#1" so badly and he did not feel/fall for it....

It makes me wonder about all these type shows, I mean WHY would someone want to be with someone that cannot even commit to them ..I always think of Ryan and Trista...I mean they "knew" ....Here, its like the candy jar.,....I take my pick and spit it out and choose another....the whole concept is disturbing, but the craziness keeps me watching :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I agree with this, BUT I'll bet your DH wasn't dating 3 other girls at the time. I gave up a great job opportunity at 24, for my DH (then fiancee) because it would mean moving away from him. I am so glad I did, as he was definately worth it, but I don't think I would have done the same thing if I didn't know we would be together.

HOT MESS is all that I could think of when I was watching her last night.

:rotfl:

When Ali & Jake were on the couch & he pulled her close with her legs draped over him - he kept rubbing her, she seemed to be loving the extra attention. IMO she was going for 'Hot Mess' most of the night - even in the limo. Maybe not in the hallway :rotfl:

LOL! Those two words I kept saying over and over as I was watching her "cry" on Jake. It was hilarious before the RC when she was messing up her ponytail for added effect to her devastated look :lmao:

Not sure but IIRC Vienna said she was 'Daddy's Little Girl'. It may have been the producers that put her on a yacht & talk about wrecking cars. Maybe to make it more a shock when she went back to her modest home?

Quoting myself ....

According to RS, I am wrong. He says Ali left for work reasons. I guess that makes me more cynical than Reality Steve. This show messes with my mind. I don't know what to believe anymore!

I know, the whole hair thing! Give me a break.
And, when she got in the limo the hair was all over the place. :rotfl:

You're right! I was the only one! :lmao: He was only 18,( but an old soul) and when he left for the Air Force, I truly thought he'd change and wouldn't want to be with me, or at least want to wait to be married, but he begged me to come out, and my roommate had just left me with an expensive apartment, so okay - here we are 30 years later! I left a good job at the hospital, but we had a roof over our heads and medical expenses paid, so everything was fine. If he had said, "leave your job and come out here - we'll see what works." I probably wouldn't have left!

Ugh, so reality Steve says Ali is the next Bachlorette. :sad2:

I'm not sure I believe Reality Steve 100% though because he claims Ali will not be back at all and I think she will in some capacity. I guess we'll see.

ETA - I am on Reality Steve's facebook page and he recommended adding Krisily Kennedy to all his readers. She was a finalist on Charlie's season and she writes a weekly blog about the episodes and it's really interesting to hear an insider's perspective. She doesn't do any spoilers.

I hope he is wrong this time. I wish they would pick someone new that we don't know.

Plus is she going to quit her job now to do this. :confused3

I think RS is wrong. I think Ali will be back in some shape or form.
