....uhhhhhh, he said UNEXPECTED....
Is that how you say it in Joisey?
...I don't - she seemed disinterested....
Yeah, I saw the moment she froze him out. She turned and moved away and then concentrated on eating. That was the real end between them.
Ashley had always said she's felt disconnected with him at times. She's got good intuition and trusts herself.

She would even point out things to him that she intuitively knew about him. Like how he didn't take into consideration how all the girls feelings, or her feelings specifically, when he's prancing around with another one right in front of them.
Ashley will be fine.
Was it just me or did anyone else think Brad looked like he was thinking "oh, crap!" when Emily said she was falling in love with him?
YES!!! I thought so, too.
I was going to go back and take a look at the tape again to see his reaction. His body language & facial expression weren't in alignment with the reaction of a guy who genuinely wanted to hear the woman he's been in love with say it to him for the first time. That's he's getting what he wants, that things are opening up and falling into place.
I thought he was thinking, "Oh $#%&!!! I was supposed to keep her on to groom her for
The Bachelorette. Now what do I do?"
With Chantal, his eyes really lit up and he kept staring her when she said she would say yes to getting engaged right away. She even remarked at how he was looking at her. He was genuinely shocked and pleased and considering.
With Emily, he looked away and got all uncomfortably flustered. It could be because they've taking it so slowly, and there is so much distance between them all the time, and he was suddenly getting what he wants, yet was afraid himself to go there and believe it's real, but I didn't get that sense. Their body language has never meshed.
I felt like that time he said, "I'm breaking a rule and I'm telling you I'm going to give you a rose later," or how he had that extra basket he took up to her. A little too many obvious extras he's doing with Emily that he doesn't do with the other gals. Usually the premise of the show is that it's not supposed to be so obvious who the Bachelor is going to pick. He's supposed to treat them all the same.
During the
After the Rose, show, with Trista Rehn and Charlie, who was still mad at her for giving him no indication that he was NOT the one, he said he was totally blindsided. I remember she said the way the show was set up, she wasn't allowed to say anything either way before the Rose Ceremony. She couldn't even tell Ryan she loved him before the ceremony.
I think with Chantal it will be more like therapy FOR him. With Emily he'll need MORE therapy..
