The Bachelor-Brad Womack Take 2--Monday, Jan. 3 NO SPOILERS!

...hey, did any of you guys hear that Gia has been spotted 'hanging out' with Jake! ....both refuse to comment...

ABC could probably get a whole series out of Brad's post breakup therapy sessions.

I think Gia comes off as desperate for love. Why, for a such a beautiful and seemingly sweet woman? And Jake??? He's one of the worst, slimiest bachelors ever. (I will always hold Aaron Buerge up as the creepiest.)

How do any of these people ever find real love when they all get together for skanky Frat party-like events? Who'd want to get involved with someone who's got a supply of willing participants to hook up with? Bleh.

....a small price to pay for their '15-minutes-of-fame'...;)

Jake seems very unbalanced, doesn't he? Gia seemed very sweet but kind of clueless. Obviously.;)

I remember waaaaay back when the Bachelor first started with Alex that it sounded like an interesting concept. Provided of course that the contestants are serious about it. Season after season just proves they're not. Except for Trista and Ali which if funny because they're bachelorette's. Maybe it only works for women!

At this point, every bachelor/bachelorette knows that there's potential for a certain amount of fame and opportunities, and definitely an opportunity to join in the "exclusive" (gag) club full of past contestants...instant friends and parties!

Also, the producers know at this point what sells...what makes a "good" contestant, and it ain't compatibility with the bachelor or bachelorette. Getting two people to fall in love and get married has gotten lower and lower on the list (not that it was ever at the top) of what's important to a successful season, if it's on there at all anymore.

...and, speaking of potential 'fame/exposure', what was the name of the bachelorette who picked the guy with 'The Shorts'?? She was on Extreme Makeovers/Home Edition the other night...

From an e-mail I just got from the Dr Phil show, this week's lineup:

"Friday
Bridal Betrayal
What would you do if you were standing at the altar in your wedding gown, holding a bridal bouquet in a room full of family and friends ... and the groom didn't show up? Would you seek revenge? That's what Dr. Phil’s first guest, Dee, says she did. She says she spent more than $31,000 on her special day only to be dumped by her then-fiancé, Danny. He says there's more to the story than meets the eye. Dee and Danny haven’t seen each other in more than two years. Find out what happens when they face off on Dr. Phil's stage and what Dee says she did to get even! And, Laurel says that while her ex-boyfriend, Brad Womack, was living life on TV as “The Bachelor,” he continued to send her text messages asking her to marry him. Brad has denied her claims in print, but Laurel says she wants to set the record straight. Plus, Dr. Phil checks back in with Marilyn, who says her fiancé left her with a big bill just six days before the wedding. When Marilyn first appeared on the show, she feared that she would never be able to trust men again. See her amazing update! "
