The Bachelor-Brad Womack Take 2--Monday, Jan. 3 NO SPOILERS!

Boy, was Brad fidgety. He was constantly pulling on his ears, rubbing his hair, etc. He never looked directly at the women.

I know, during the date with Chantal (I think) I was wondering to myself- how many knuckles does he have, he keeps cracking them.

It was funny when even Brad said something about Chris not coming out to say "this is the final rose tonight". :lmao:

Was it just me or did anyone else think Brad looked like he was thinking "oh, crap!" when Emily said she was falling in love with him? He always seems very awkward with all the girls, but I think he seems much more relaxed with Chantal. With Emily last night, it seemed like they were following a script. Very forced and unnatural. My money is on Chantal.

...instead of a 'win-win' situation, it seems as if he's in a 'no win'situation...

I might watch if Derek gets Kirstie. She seems like she would be a handful, attitude-wise.

However, she is also great friends with dance extraordinaire, John Travolta, so they might have danced together socially, and she has some skills.

Also, I remember seeing Kirstie in "North & South" when she was a fireball of an actress. When she sets her mind to get something, she can be unstoppable.

I guess there might not be a me or you in the DWTS thread room, posting by ourselves, waiting for others to show up. :surfweb: :lmao:
I don't think that I've subscribed to that thread yet. Was getting ready to look for it though.

I like Kirstie. Let's hope she doesn't turn into a Cloris Leachman/Florence Henderson character. I don't mind the dancers having fun but I get tired of them making a joke out of the whole thing just to get votes.

I hope Kirstie asks for a partner that is taller than her. While it would be fun to see her paired with Derek, that would be a joke. She needs a man, like Max.

I think with Chantal it will be more like therapy FOR him. With Emily he'll need MORE therapy..:scared:

He looks SO uncomfortable around her it's really had to watch. :sad2:

:scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1:

I found out the "WINNER" and I TRULY say that with tongue in cheek ;) very early in the game BUT just found out that the "source" of the rumer has changed his info! O...my.... word....

....uhhhhhh, he said UNEXPECTED....:teeth:

Is that how you say it in Joisey? :teeth:

...I don't - she seemed disinterested....

Yeah, I saw the moment she froze him out. She turned and moved away and then concentrated on eating. That was the real end between them.

Ashley had always said she's felt disconnected with him at times. She's got good intuition and trusts herself. :thumbsup2 She would even point out things to him that she intuitively knew about him. Like how he didn't take into consideration how all the girls feelings, or her feelings specifically, when he's prancing around with another one right in front of them.

Ashley will be fine. :thumbsup2

Was it just me or did anyone else think Brad looked like he was thinking "oh, crap!" when Emily said she was falling in love with him?

YES!!! I thought so, too. :yay: I was going to go back and take a look at the tape again to see his reaction. His body language & facial expression weren't in alignment with the reaction of a guy who genuinely wanted to hear the woman he's been in love with say it to him for the first time. That's he's getting what he wants, that things are opening up and falling into place.

I thought he was thinking, "Oh $#%&!!! I was supposed to keep her on to groom her for The Bachelorette. Now what do I do?"

With Chantal, his eyes really lit up and he kept staring her when she said she would say yes to getting engaged right away. She even remarked at how he was looking at her. He was genuinely shocked and pleased and considering.

With Emily, he looked away and got all uncomfortably flustered. It could be because they've taking it so slowly, and there is so much distance between them all the time, and he was suddenly getting what he wants, yet was afraid himself to go there and believe it's real, but I didn't get that sense. Their body language has never meshed.

I felt like that time he said, "I'm breaking a rule and I'm telling you I'm going to give you a rose later," or how he had that extra basket he took up to her. A little too many obvious extras he's doing with Emily that he doesn't do with the other gals. Usually the premise of the show is that it's not supposed to be so obvious who the Bachelor is going to pick. He's supposed to treat them all the same.

During the After the Rose, show, with Trista Rehn and Charlie, who was still mad at her for giving him no indication that he was NOT the one, he said he was totally blindsided. I remember she said the way the show was set up, she wasn't allowed to say anything either way before the Rose Ceremony. She couldn't even tell Ryan she loved him before the ceremony.

:rotfl2:

He said something like it would be the most unexpected ending. Maybe he doesn't choose either of them again? :lmao:

Maybe he tells both of them he hasn't decided and wants to continue dating both of them so he can make his decision. Then he'll dump both of them on the After the Rose Ceremony and start dating of of the first ones he sent home. :rotfl:

Yes! I thought he was going to tell her that he didn't feel the same way ... yet. He surprised me by telling her that he was falling in love with her too .

Didn't the show, one year, purposely "leak" a spoiler that turned out to be false, as the previous season the bachelor was seen around in the hometown of the gal he ends up picking? They were seen during that interim before the show aired. So people knew who he picked and talked about it, and there were real spoilers.

I think I remember that.

What bugs me is for the past few times this guy has been spot on. I wonder if he was told by the PTB that he is ruining the show so retract? :confused3
