The dentist! I like her too!

Madison..the vampire chick. He needs to let that girl go! She is CREEPY!
The girl that slapped him.....yep she also needs to leave, and soon. correct me if im wrong but I believe she is the lady who works for her father right? But they always keep those girls around to cause "drama".

Most of the girls that left I hardly even saw the whole night so I didnt see a big deal.

Hopefully it will be a good season.....still looks like alot of crying in the commercials for upcoming. We willl just have to see!

I'm thankful for this thread, because I asked people at work today if anyone watched "The Bachelor" last night, and I heard crickets. How humiliating! They do, however, talk about something called "Jerseylicious" so it's not exactly as if my coworkers are being superior in their TV choices.

I needed to talk to SOMEone about fang girl. Come ON. And he kept her?

The beginning, where he meets all of the girls as they come out of the limo is Painfully Awkward Television at its best. Oh, skin crawling!

I missed the first half-hour. Which chick slapped him?

Oh, the limo part is always awkward and just pure entertaining! I usually cringe a bit while each of them make some form of awkward small talk.

The slapper, oh man, she does need to leave. She was the 1st one out of the limo, I think in a green dress? During the rose ceremony you could tell she was probably second guessing herself for slapping him. But he ended up picking her! I think she was the last one picked actually.

Vampire girl is creeeepy! I can't imagine why someone would do that to their teeth much less go on national tv like that? She's really trying to act mysterious and interesting but it's coming across as fake and ridiculous.

Should be an interesting season!

Not only did her fiance die, but her fiance's uncle, and two cousins. She was extremely close with the whole family.

Fang girl gives me the creeps, and slapper girl should not have gotten another chance.

I agree with those that say Brad did nothing wrong by picking neither girl the first time. If anything I give him credit for standing up to the "powers that be" and not picking someone only to dump them before the final rose show. I'm not sure why he is so vilified??

TOTALLY agree!!! I appreciated what he did over all the slimeballs who made a promise than didn't make it after the fact. I never got what he saw in Jenny OR Deanna, and think he dodged a bullet especially with Deanna!

I agree. I gave him a lot of credit. And honestly, I never got the appeal of Deanna...she was a ***** with a capital "B". She stirred up trouble among the girls in the house more than anyone else that season. And I cannot stand the way she talks, like everything she says is some big important pronouncement. I don't get what some of these girls' families think (OK, they're on a 'reality' show in bikinis vying for the affections of a guy, through embarrassing contests, overnight dates, and some heavy face-sucking...but still! ) when they act like total idiots, or the bachelor and his family when they watch the show in the end and see the "winner" being an ***.

Smack girl needs to go home. I don't care what he did on the last show you don't just walk up and hit someone. Can you imagine if a guy did that to a Bachelorette?

I think they added the sound effect of a harder hit than she actually did. It just sounded that way to me.

Brad's got no backbone to say to a girl coming up to him, "I'll be with you in a couple minutes. I want to finish talking to this girl?"

Do they ever?? It almost seems like the bachelor is TOLD to go with the girl breaking in (a sure drama-maker), because I'm always amazed that no one ever seems to say to just hang on and wait!

I didnt think I would like this season since Brad was already the Bachelor..but it was interesting..
I still dont think it's fair that he got a 2nd chance at it.. I mean Im sure there were thousands of guys who wanted to be the new Bachelor

I think they need to come up with some sort of "twist" to keep interest in a show that is the same old same old every season, and this is just this season's twist.

I agree with everything you said. I told DH that I really think that there are only 2 or 3 that each Bachelor/Bachelorette feels an initial connection with, and that the rest are picked basically to have someone to send home. Why on earth else would he pick vampire girl, and slap happy, not to mention wiggle pouty lips woman, and the manscaper freak?

I always think that the cast consists of 4 types of women:

The ones the producers know the viewers will tune in for

the ones who came on for PR

Cannon fodder (the ones that are used for filler)

and the ones who the bachelor really would pick (smallest group).

He picks the ones he likes, then the producers choices, then the others leave early.

This group has a bit more than the usual creeps, maybe they thought they'd need it because they were using a recycled Bachelor after Chris turned them down?

I just thought that it was more obvious with Brad that he was picking just to fill the numbers than the usual new bachelor shows. Probably because it's not new to him.....
