The Bachelor-Brad Womack Take 2--Monday, Jan. 3 NO SPOILERS!

I found out today that he picked Emily. It's on the cover of the new People magazine that I saw today in the store.

Who dumps a girl and then asks her if she's okay and badgers her to talk??? I don't understand Brad. He did this with all the girls he dumped. Just let them leave.

I don't see him and Emily lasting and the preview they showed just proved that. Who argues and talks about breaking up on the show? At least wait a couple weeks!

We're just now watching the proposal part, and my DH is crying. Cracks me up.

He sounds like this is about him trying to prove himself.
That he wants to prove everyone wrong.
And that he can win the girl who won't let him in.

Why would what she's saying be such a surprise to everyone in the audience? She has a child to think of.

Why would she accept his proposal then?

I just don't think she is willing to give up anything and I don't think he is either. This just shows its doomed.

I would think people would understand she & her child need to proceed slowly. She shouldn't uproot her child just like that to Austin. :sad2:

Does anyone else think the "affection" looks forced?? This is like an awkward train wreck!

There's more to this story. I wonder if her daughter doesn't like Brad anymore or is refusing to move to Austin? Does anyone know if Emily has family other than her daughter? I know we didn't see any on the hometown date. This is just plain weird. Brad looks smitten and ready to marry her right now but she's holding back about something.

She's had months to start the process. Plus she knew she would need to move all along. Brad was open about that since the beginning. Its not like he sprung it on it out of the blue.

Both of them need to compromise and it looks like neither have.

ETA: I don't think its all about her being worried about her child. I think she's super insecure and doesn't want to commit.

Ok, had Emily never watched a season of the Bachelor? Does she not get editing? She seems to think it was the Brad and Emily show with incidental other women edited in for color...Emily, wake up girl, you need to get real. Ohhhhh, "he's got a bit of a temper." "Has she poked the bear yet?"
Yeah, we could tell he had anger issues, he was always clearing his throat to stay in control, he got mad when you asked him to be sure about your daughter-how DARE you challenge him? And - "There should be some things that were saved for just me." He told you he was taking you to meet his parents. He told you he was giving you a rose. He had the other girls saying 'it's the Emily show.' Melissa knew it was Emily, she said so early on. Emily, have you SEEN this show before? The Bachelor get carte blanche before he proposes; that's what this show is all about. You joined a TV reality show with 25 other women strutting their stuff, getting nearly naked. Your 'man' ran around nearly naked the whole show and yet you wonder why certain things were not 'saved' for you? You got the ring. You got the guy, God help you. Quit whining, Brad's a catch, don't you know?

I truly truly truly think that she cannot stand to watch him on the show kissing and showing affection to other girls...

I think this is the whole issue.... she is insecure.... she cant handle the truth of what happened on the show with the other women.

And it wouldn't be an interesting show if he only showed interest in one girl.

Emily is looking a lot like Trista tonight
