Emily didn't have a more appropriate outfit? She was hardly dressed for rock climbing. Stoic Brad doesn't ever want to talk about the hard stuff. He's not changed at all. All that talk about showing emotions...he clams up every time one of the girls challenges him and isn't fawning all over him. Run girls run!!! I did like that Emily said, "It's not always fun." The understatement of the season. Parenting can be tough even in the best of circumstances. I don't think he's ready for parenthood. I'm glad the brothers tried to talk to him about that but I don't think he gets it.

I have not watched any of this season. DD is making me watch. He is totally head over heels for Emily. He was soooo nervous! I can't blame her for wanting to make sure he is sure he wants to be an instant dad. His nervousness with her was kinda cute.

This scene was to fool us into thinking he MIGHT not pick her. Up until now she was the sure shot... they had to to SOMETHING to keep people from changing the channel.

I liked that side of Emily, she told him the real deal. His issues with his Dad not being a real Dad could've sparked that reaction.

The ring he picked was an Emily ring. Chantal doesn't even wear jewelry on a normal day.
Emily always has jewelry on. That ring was a little gaudy and not Chantal at all.

Do they build those sets just for the Bachelor? They all look alike.

That's how I perceived it...Emily questioned his sincerity and he took offense to that since he wants so badly to be the right kind of father, unlike the relationship (or lack of) that he had with his.

Emily is fabulous, she isn't afraid to tackle difficult issues and I have a feeling that if Brad chooses her, she'll teach him how to be a big boy.
