The Bachelor-Brad Womack Take 2--Monday, Jan. 3 NO SPOILERS!

I'm stunned. I actually like vampire girl now. Was she just in this for the camera time? I give her credit for stepping down when she knew it wasn't working for her.
I think that she said it herself when she said that she signed up because she thought it would be fun.

Me too. I think she thought hey, I'll go on the Bachelor, it should be fun. But when Emily told her story, she realized it wasn't just fun and games or an experience. I actually like her, she seemed very genuine after and it's a shame she didn't give it a chance. But she knows herself better than anyone else so perhaps she wasn't ready.

I thought she had a rockin' hot body in her bikini too. I was looking forward to seeing a girl with curves and not just fake cleavage. Oh well. I'm glad she stepped down when she did and didn't take a spot away from someone else.

how can Brad say he wasn't expecting it at all that Madison would go home? SHE told him that she was thinking of it when they talked????

I guess you can't really tell when someone is ready to move on. Maybe its when you do find the right person, ya know?

Actually, it is observable when someone has moved on. All people exhibit certain observable behavior, emotional patterns, body language, speech patterns and signs about who they are and what is going on in them. When one is trained to notice and recognize them, the patterns become clear.

What Emily is exhibiting is clinically called: congruency. When enough of the patterns line up. She is very congruent in showing she's still grieving over her deceased BF.

I'm not projecting on some tragic fairy tale story onto her. I am observing her behavior, moment by moment. She's told her story a few times over the last 3 episodes, and her behavior and reactions each time has remained congruent each time.

I'm not the only one who has recognized the signs, 2 other people have said it, too.

I feel bad for people like Emily who actually think they can come out of this with an actual relationship. This show is very entertaining and I watch every episode, but it still surprises me when I see women who really think they can find their future husband in a matter of weeks while he's dating 20 other girls. This formula doesn't work... anyone who watches this show should know this by now. Only two couples from the Bachelor and the Bachelorette shows are still together (we'll see if Ali and Roberto last) but the show does not have a good track record.

That being said, I like Emily a lot. I also like Ashley S. and Jackie. I think Michelle is a complete wacko and I hope she goes soon. I really didn't like Madison at first... Tonight though, she really showed that she isn't just the vampire-loving tough chick she portrayed. I wish she had been herself from the beginning.

Until next week...

As soon as she took off her fangs, it was as if she opened up. I only hope she doesn't come back for "the most surpassing and dramatic rose ceremony ever"

nah, she will be the next Bachelorette...I know the signs all point to Emily, but it is time for a GOTH episode! Can you just see it? I think it would be awesome, an season of interesting contestants rather than Ken and Barbies off the shelf.

My husband asked me last night if the girls get paid anything for their time on the show. Anyone know?

Last night's episode was one of my favorites. Maybe they're hiring better "actresses"?:lmao: Jake's season had the WORSE! :scared:

I kind of like most of the girls on this show. Michelle is the catalyst girl they have every show... no big whoop. No story is complete without a villain.

Madison was very attractive last night. Liked her exit and the fact that she admitted she should've been "herself" from the beginning. She should've told her agent that from the jump.

Emily is grieving... and WILL grieve probably for the rest of her life. That doesn't mean she's not ready to move on with her life. I did grief counseling and know her story all too well. We can continue living our lives 24/7 then go thru the motions (the right words, the right reactions) when faced with the memory. We're only seeing the 1/100th of the day she's on the air, I'm sure she's okay as long as she doesn't have to relive that story... and she has to over and over in this show.

Her story is who she is, it's not separate. She mentioned that men ran away when she told them that story, no surprise. It's difficult to replace a spirit, and most guys with no depth don't want to have to deal with more than a pretty face. Brad's been through a lot in his life so I think knowing her plight is the best thing for him. And I DO believe she's being set up to be the next Bachelorette, death or loss in the family is a big theme in the ones they bring back, since the girl who lost her Grandmother way back when. Who knows, she may not want to do it like Chris didn't.

I understand that they get paid a per diem amount agreed upon when they sign their contract, but it's minimal. This is why reality is so important to the networks, they have a low pay scale for their performers and get major bucks from the advertisers. It's a win win situation. No one wants to pay Charlie Sheen money just to keep a show on the air.. :lmao:

Michelle is off the rails whacky, huh?! Did y'all catch that comment about it being her & Brad at the finale, practicing making babies?!?! Yikes!!

Eww no I missed that part! :scared: What a loon! I wonder how many more weeks she'll last for?

I had to rewind it & watch again, just to make sure I heard correctly. I think it was shown after the group date footage, but I'll have to watch again. Ewwwww came to my mind too. ;)

I haven't watched the show yet, but decided to come read, anyway.

So bummed to hear Madison left. I had mistakenly read a spoiler that said someone would leave on her own on the 3rd episode, but I got my "M" names mixed up and was expecting it to be Michelle. Bummer. Madison was interesting. Michelle is annoying.

I agree with Chantal's line about staying out of her radar. She seems like an attention hound.

ugh - Michele is not the one for Brad. He thought her comments were "cute", but little does he realize that she was being serious.

I like both Shawntal & Chantal (I think I have that right.) Emily is sweet, but she may not be right for Brad. Ashley S. was so cute on that singing date. I started to like Madison, not sure why she did the schtick with the fangs.

So, the other two who left last night were Sarah P. & Kimberley - they left no impression on me, so maybe they left no impression on Brad either.

I also was liking Madison. I forgot that she was "fang girl" until she took them out and Brad told her to keep them in. I thought she looked especially attractive w/o makeup when she was revealing her feelings to one of the girls out on the chairs by the pool. Good for her leaving when she realized she really wasn't there looking for love.
