The Bachelor - Ben??? No spoilers

I hate that the note about the fantasy suite hasn't changed in all the years the show has been on. It is just too predictable.
"Should choose to forgo your individual room...."

I have to get off here. I am way back at JoJo's date. This is going to be ugly. Sigh. I used to call him Stepford Ben on Kaitlyn's season. It made me laugh but not unsure I wasn't bang on. Hmmm.

I don't know how he could be so stupid to tell two women he loves them, as he is about to propose soon to one.

What a mess.

JoJo just said she will remember this night forever. If it is Lauren - I guess so.

And maybe he looked so stressed on the aftershow FINFAN because he has had some threats from two Texas boys. Lord.

At this point in the franchise, I wouldn't be at all surprised if he had been encouraged to say it, and to two women. The script of this "reality" show is pretty repetitive season to season. They have to give us SOMETHING to feel the drama. Then he'll just tell the final rose woman that he had to say it, but it really was all about her. IMO

I would not be surprised if it's not Caila going home, just because they're so good at manipulating the editing.
You know that the producers sent Calia over to his place to create the confrontation.

Or not.
At least the rose ceremony should be easy.
I wonder how everyone knew that they had gotten to the final rose without Chris Harrison announcing it. I loved the long pause as he chose each one. Two roses, two women. The suspense was killing me.
it reads to me that Lauren bows out on her own...leaving Ben to ask JoJo..but then tellsher he can't propose..she leaves and he calls lauren
Oh, I think that could be the most dramatic final rose ceremony EVER! ::yes:: And it does sound like it would fit. Unless he calls Caila. :scared:

And parked Ben thoughtfully looking off into the distance, contemplating what-to-do-about-dumping-Caila.

Remember the season where The Bachelor "dated" two women for months afterwards while the show aired and then he chose? I think he was an actor, brother of a more famous actor. The woman he didn't choose (and apparently barely spoke to in those months) was from RI. The woman he did choose was a nurse and they were together for quite a while. That's where I thought this was headed while watching tonight's episode, until I saw the previews and FINFAN's interpretation, which sounds more feasible.

No kidding. That was painful to watch.
"Please Caila, for the love of God, stop being so happy!"

And parked Ben thoughtfully looking off into the distance, contemplating what-to-do-about-dumping-Caila.

That was so stupid.
"Okay Ben. We have a surprise coming. Whatever you do. Don't look over your left shoulder."
"What's the surprise?"
"Don't worry... You'll just love it."

Another forum was speculating that the producers had Ben say "I love you" to Jojo just to create uncertainty/drama for the viewers, because it was apparent Lauren was the clear frontrunner from early on in the series. I've only been watching this season for a few episodes now, but before I got involved, I recall everyone saying they thought Lauren would win - from co-workers, to the people on the radio, to my mom, to Howard Stern. So to me, it would make sense if he was compelled to say these things to Jojo by production.

this ^ makes total sense (well, Bachelor sense) I think they are spot on. JoJo is probably in on it as well...already being promised/ given a BIP spot. Her Ex can keep dog sitting for her, lol.

I hope you're right, otherwise he is a complete jerk. Then again, he's been pretty jerky all season.

Ben confirmed on GMA that he is, indeed, engaged and happy. Hmmmmm... Wonder if it happened at the final rose ceremony, or after? And how much damage control did he have to do after last night's episode?

I'm kinda leaning toward he dates both girls after the show esp after Mike Flesis posted this on Twitter

Ben does a reverse Womack... But does he stick the landing?
hmmm, I don't know. Seeming more like a Jason Resnik, minus the total loser move of breaking it off with Melissa Rycroft on tv months later~prolly cheating the whole time with Molly. Ben has the hots for JoJo, so he is most likely trying to talk himself into how can he propose to Lauren while wanting JoJo ...she was the one on his date to Wrigley and hard to remove her from something he loves lol. He is gonna think of JoJo every time he watches the Cub's. However, still think he calls Lauren~ or maybe it's home to Mom asking what to do beore either girl gets there.

JoJo's reaction to that Cubs date alone would make me want to pick Lauren. What a waste.

JoJo being in on it would totally explain the ridiculous overreacting, well I guess it is overacting, of her brothers. And maybe even the infamous wine bottle swig. And maybe the dog sitter note.

And I did think it was weird that the temper -filled brother was suddenly smiling and laughing through the glass doors as Ben and JoJo were walking out. He seemed to be talking to a crew member. Probably thinking his performance was flawless.
