The Bachelor 17 Sean Lowe NO SPOILERS

.....I also think Sean may have managed to pick the two most immature women of the entire group, as the F2....

....I think that Tierra was more immature than either of them. After all, she was only 24, and that's proably why she has such a warped sense of loyalty/allegiance/friendship and issues with the other women...

....really? Hmmm, I don't get that vibe...:confused3

She was doing a lot of eye rolling both when Ashlee was talking to Sean. Sort of rude I thought.

I admit to thinking less of her since I heard she has since hooked up with Chris B. from Emily's season and The Bachelor Pad. Plus she needs to lay off the black eyeliner, it makes her look mean imo. I did like her on the show, she seemed like the smartest girl there. Not sure how she hooked up with that idiot Chris B. :rolleyes2

OMG I am such a sap. I almost cried watching the picture montage of the dog at the end. I don't even know that dog and it made me sad. He was a pretty dog.

Me too! I just knew it was going to have a date of birth date of death notice at the end. What a beautiful boy he was. :(

Yeah but she has SPARKLE!!! That counts for something! :lmao:

....yeah - how would THAT have happened? :confused3

Tierra is immature too, but what strikes me about her first, is that she's calculating and crazy.

Lindsay and Catherine show immaturity. Tierra is just nuts.

That's exactly how I feel about her.

I also think Sean may have managed to pick the two most immature women of the entire group, as the F2. IMO, that says a lot about him.

I like Catherine. She seems young, but not immature. Lindsay just seems like a giggly school girl to me.

Trouble is, I don't think Catherine is as in to him as he is to her, vice versa with Lindsay. Catherine doesn't even make eye contact with him. I don't know if she is just shy or perhaps not ready to let herself truly go but I don't see him having a long term relationship with her due to her not being ready. I can see Lindsay saying yes to a proposal, but he doesn't like her as much as he likes Catherine. I think the mother must know something is wrong too, why is she crying? I think it's highly possible he asks Catherine to marry him and she says no. Has that ever happened on Bachelor history? Not to my memory but I don't know that I've seen every single season.

I also read that Selma is now dating Arie. The girl who promised her mother she wouldn't kiss is dating the guy who was a slobbering kissing fool on Emily's season. Yeah, this show is about as fake as it can get. I never bought all that story with Selma and her strict Muslim background. I'm sorry but strict Muslim girls don't wear shirts that show major cleavage on The Bachelor. :lmao:

I never liked AshLee at all. Looking for sympathy because she was adopted. What about thanks to her parents. Get over yourself girl. And act your age. You were not fun so get over yourself. And I don't believe Sean said those things to her. She was so delusional and sure of herself that her imagination is running away with itself. And telling him what style ring she wanted. What a nerve!

It's obviously had a major impact on her. If she was looking for a partner, I'd hope she'd talk about it. I can only imagine that abandonment issues can play a huge role in relationships. Should she have kept it to herself? The show is looking for ratings, so you know they're going to zero in on it, and who knows how badly it was edited.

And she did talk about her gratitude towards her parents, multiple times.

ETA: I never looked at her as having issues with being adopted. She seems very grateful to her adoptive parents. Her issues to me, stemmed from her being abandoned by her birth parents and multiple foster homes. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure I'd be messed up too.

i know i say this every season, but i wish they'd give us somebody completely new as the Bachelorette. none of those girls interest me at all. (as far as watching on the show)

and i love the commercial about "are you a good match for our next Bachelor/Bachelorette?" um. how would anyone know?

Me too! I miss the good old days when they picked new people!

I can see that, definitely.

I thought Arie and Courtney were dating?

Apparently he dumped Courtney and has moved on to Selma. I read that on Television Without Pity so can't be 100 percent sure. I don't read spoiler sites so maybe they could confirm or deny. Either way I don't for one second believe Selma's shy and sheltered Muslim girl story.

They'd make pretty babies! :rolleyes1

I have a niece who was adopted nearly 40 years ago and has never felt abandoned. She wasn't 6, but did live in a foster home before the adoption. And she has never expressed an interest in finding her birth parents. AshLee knew going into this that she would be one of 25 girls. Has she acted like this with all previous boy friends. We will never know unless she is the next bachelorette. Maybe that question will be answered. I know she loves her parents and is thankful that they adopted her, buy all the talk about being abandoned was too much for me. IMO she definitely needs therapy.

True! I can actually see them as a good match, but Selma would actually have to come clean that she isn't from this strict home.

As far as Ashlee and her abandonment issues I really think everyone who has been adopted has different feelings about it. Didn't she say she was abused in the foster home? I agree with you MagicallyDelicious, the fact that she did think she was going to marry this guy allowed her to open up and tell him all these things she might have never told anyone. The first thing she said to Chris was that she is a very reserved person, so for her to open up and tell him all she had been through was a big step for her and why she felt so violated at the end when he didn't choose her. In the hometown dates she certainly seemed to have a very loving family, she talked very lovingly about them throughout the show and seemed so grateful that they were her parents. I never thought she was dwelling on it because this was the period these people are supposed to be getting to know one another.

I do think Sarah has major self esteem issues. I felt terrible for her on this show because I thinks he just feels such low self esteem about her missing arm. I can't blame her. She has probably been through a lot.

I give the girls who cry a pass on this show because if I were ever on it I would be the biggest cry baby too. :rotfl: I would not be the mean one I'd be the one hiding in the corner or crying when I didn't get the rose. :rotfl: It's the mean catty girls that bother me. The only real mean one this season seemed to be Tierra and I didn't see her as particularly mean, just crazy.

Yeah, I'm not buying chaste Selma either.

I think she did mention that she was abused in one home. I want to say that she mentioned it in St. Croix, or maybe during her hometown visit.

I think she has self-esteem issues too, and I don't fault her for that one bit, knowing how I'd be. I think she's incredibly brave for not wearing a prosthetic. I'm not sure I could do that. I think she feels like she has to wait for the other shoe to drop, and that's sad.

I still think personality-wise though, she's boring. She just seems very bland to me. I respect her, but I'm not sure I could watch a season of her as the Bachelorette. It has nothing to do with her body at all. I think she's beautiful and seems very, very sweet. I hope she manages to find love soon.

I just zipped through tonight's episode.

Do you think Ashlee was telling the truth? Or if she was making things up? I think I am inclined to believe her ... even though she seems to like hasenpfeffer.

*sniff* The dog footage made me cry.
