Sorry I've been a little MIA from our April community ever since they did the update I've had a hard time getting used to the new feel of the boards.
I was a regular user of the disboards app and it's no longer functional
I'll do better I promise!

Welcome to all our new April people!!!

I hadn't realized the site changed formats. I've been trying to use the app on my phone and it wasn't working. I finally logged on on my laptop. LOL I miss the phone app!

I'm excited for our Easter trip! I made our Blue Bayou Fantasmic! reservations and our Minnie's Breakfast reservations. It's going to be so much fun!

I really miss the app also, it was so easy to navigate! How exciting you booked Blue Bayou! I wanted to but my husband is being anti schedule and doesn't want to make any dining reservations. Ha!

Does Disneyland typically fill to capacity on Easter? I can find F! dinner packages for 4/4 and 4/5 but not 4/6-4/8. We were planning on going to Knotts on Easter but now thinking of going to DL. Thoughts?

Hi! I will be in Disneyland the week after Easter.

Just a heads up for you all, I went to book my Fantasmic package today for Thursday 9th and noticed that they are not offering the packages on Mon, Tues or Weds of that week… I would guess that this means they are not showing Fantasmic these nights?! I know when I went the same time last year it was twice nightly so I expected it to be the same this year so some of you might be thinking similar.

Keep checking, the F! reservation availability may change. The first time I tried to book, there was nothing open for March or April. Then they opened March and some of April. The CM I spoke with said they are still working out kinks related to the 60th...

We are going to Star Wars celebration too! Disney the week before(arriving on the 6th) it's going to be a busy holiday!!

Celebration here as well! We plan to go to DL the three days after.. plus we might plan a park day during the Celebration once the schedule is up. Traveling with a 2, 4, and 10 yr old, so sadly we won't be attending a lot of panels...

We went to Essen 2 years ago for that celebration with our 2 boys who were 4 and 6 at the time. Hoping we might be able to do some of the panels, interviews while we are there. Although it's exciting for them, it's also extremely tiring!

I'm going with a friend and hers are the older two, mine the toddler... hers will play on a tablet while we do a panel, mine is the one who has only one mode - go go go go!!!! I did a few hours at a local convention and went to one panel. She was pretty good, except when everyone laughed or clapped she did it realy loud and they could hear her on stage Luckily they seemed to think it was cute... I figured if there is a panel I really want to see, we'll find a way, but I could just hang out in the exhibit hall for four days and be happy! This is my 5th celebration (only US ones), but first with kids.

Just booked the Candy Cane for April 19th-24th! Hoping the crowds won't be too bad!

We will be at the Candy Cane too from the 6th to the 11th! It looks like a great place and Tom Bell gave it a great review!

My husband and brother (and cousins!) will be hitting up the convention. While they are there myself, my 3 kids, my mom and my brothers girlfriend will be at Disneyland during the day and they can join us each evening. We bought our annual passes in December primarily because we knew we would be back in April. We leave the weds night from nor. cal and will be in the parks Thurs, Friday and Sunday. Saturday our passes are blocked so we will do knotts.

So excited. 64 days!!!!

I sure hope so.....even if it is the current version I would like to see it. Flying across country to visit and I would love to see this magical show!

It is because disney only post the schedule 6 weeks out. So mid march we should be able to see all of April hours. Based on historical hours my guess is the second half of april will be short hours opening at 10am. The first weeks of april will probably have the 8am opening due to spring break hours.
