we are planning on going Apr 2 to the 5th and then also drive down to san diego....I am still planning since this is our first time with 3 kids 10, 8, & 5. I just can't believe how much stuff there is to look into. The kids of course can't wait!

We're headed that way April 26-May 2. My kids are the perfect Disney age at 2 1/2 and 5 so I'm really excited for this trip. We'll also be celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary while there (grandma and uncle are coming too so they can watch them while we have a nice dinner one night )

We're staying at Hojo the whole trip, going to Disneyland 4 days and driving to LEGOLAND one day. I know we may miss a couple things due to refurbishment but I'm hoping that most of it is truly back up and running like the schedule states right now. Matterhorn is the biggest disappointment since my son wanted to ride it for the first time but we'll be back so he can try it next time

What are some things everyone is looking most forward to?

This is only our 2nd trip to DLR and first time staying onsite....yea!!!!! First time at DLR for my older 2 kids! I think I'm most excited about sharing the wonder of it all with them and being a kid again myself

I'm a big Frozen fan so I'm excited for all the new Frozen features and can't wait to give Olaf a hug! We're staying at the Grand Californian so I'm also excited about relaxing there in the evenings and enjoying the hotel. Is it time yet, I can't wait!!

I have been to Disneyland more times than I can count, and our April 1st jaunt is going to be just a one day thing. We haven't been to CA in over a year (two trips to DL Park last year) so I've just been itching to get back!

You just reminded me that the first and only time I ever went to DL that Pirates was closed so I've never had the chance to ride it and hear it is better than the WDW version(which I've ridden a million times). It's not on the refurb list so I'm excited!!!

As if I needed another reason to countdown, I'm even more eager to go since we just got 24 inches of snow yesterday and I'm ready for California sunshine!!

So the previous rumor was that WoC was coming back in March. With the news last night that there will be a new WoC in May I am wondering if they are still planning on bringing the current WoC back? I understand that I will miss the updated version by coming to the parks in April but I hope that they are at least still running the current version while I am there.

Joining in . We're planning to be at DL for 3 nights during the week of April 13th. My last trip to DL was almost 20 years ago and this will be DD's first time there. I'm excited, but honestly, a little sad too that so much will be under refurbishment while we're there in prep for the 60th. The thought of the castle being covered makes me particularly . I know there's so much else to see so trying to to stay positive...

I would think the weather would be pretty decent at that time. Last time we were there in early Feb. I wore jeans and a hoodie but ended up putting the hoodie in a locker in the daytime, definately needed it at night though. I'm from CO so it felt warm to me! It was probably in the 60's. I would guess late April/ early May would be ind 70's low 80's????

Thanks that helps, we are from washington so our springs can still be pretty cool so planning for warmer weather at that time is a challange especiall with toddlers.
