I agree, christy did an ok job, the XXX in the ad was horrible but didn't seem to be the reason they lost.

Melissa was done the moment Caroline showed up at the gym and Melissa started denigrating her team and the project manager.

I never thought that I would be hooked on this show...lol...but my DH watches it religously and loves it! So when he watches, I watch...well, he's out of town at the moment...and guessed what I watched all by myself! :rofl:

Last year, I had my clear favorites immediately. This year...i'm not so sure just yet. Do these people not watch the previous seasons to see what NOT to do? I can't believe Melissa went in there and slammed on her team in Carolyn's presence! You don't badmouth your team, no matter how badly things may be going, in front of her. It's career suicide! Well, at least your career on the Apprentice anyway...lol

I did like how Trump gave the one guy (don't know names yet) the use of the helicopter to get to the funeral. That was very nice...I like to see when these corporate big wigs show that they have a little bit of heart too!

I'm so glad Melissa got the boot. I couldn't take listening to her talk about how jealous everyone was of her. Uh, get a clue, nobody is jealous, you are an annoying biotch.

I was glad Trump was giving him the helicopter to go to his grandmother's funeral. That was a very nice and classy thing to do.

As for the other guy, the PM (was it Marcus?), he was so annoying, but I did feel bad for him a bit when they were all having lunch and Trump turned to the other guy and said does this guy talk a lot or what? I would be so embarrassed and I'm sure he was, he looked it. That being said, I hope he gets the boot next and judging by the previews for next week, it looks like he might if the guys lose.

Did you see Carolyns face when Melissa was saying she can't work with women? Not smart!! Carolyn has no patience for that kind of attitude. I hate when women say "other women hate me because I am smart and beautiful" barf.

I don't know my faves yet, it usually takes me a few weeks....

Nice that they put one new thing on - the fact that you have to be voted yes to earn your exemption. I wonder how many times this season it will be used....

I was very impressed with how the guy handled himself with his grandmother's funeral. I think Trump was, too.

Both were very classy and really showed up Melissa for how to be professional and a class act at the same time.

You gotta wonder if the folks who picked the applicants got some of these wild cards on purpose (for ratings or fun) or really didn't see this side of them. I just couldn't believe that she actually said she was beautiful. Pretty, maybe, but not beautiful.

Claudia---when I interviewed for Sears for Management training...it was a combo of individual interview with a group "interview" which consisted of a project and its purpose was to see how well we worked together. It causes the butt-kissers to get revealed for their true selves if they are indeed....the "runs with scissors" "doesn't play well with others" type. It was a full day--and included Lunch..which was part of the interview.

I suspect--that Melissa probably put up a good front for her interviews..is probably a just dandy worker when she's in charge of her own company (not sure what she did for a living)---but the "doesn't play well with others" is what got her. I think the show is their group interview...and if they had one prior...she may have still been in the...look good mode.

I thought it was really smart of Chrissy (?) to ask if she could just take one person with her back into the boardroom. There was no other clear person that had done anything wrong, and for her to have taken 2 people just for the sake of taking someone else would have looked very poorly on her. You know in the past the PM has gotten a lot of backlash for taking someone for personal reasons or for no reason at all. I thought that was very smart of her, risky, but smart!

I thought it was a great season premiere last night. I was thinking that they were going to keep Melissa just for conflict. She could definitely have been the next Omarosa.

Bill didn't exactly quit, he just will not renew his contract when it expires next year, he wants to move on in his own business.

Ya, Trump was on Live the other day, and said the same thing. It is really only for one year, and he got to do 2. But there was no hard feelings or anything.

I agree, smart of Christy to just take one in. If not, she would have had someone else on the team mad at her for taking them in.

I was surprised to see that I actually know one of the contestants. Clay was our realtor when we bought our house. It was 7 years ago when he was going to Texas A&M. He is a pretty nice guy and I can see that he would get along well with the girls.

I don't think Marcus will last long, but he definitely didn't lose the task for them.

Are there any other women on the team besides Kristy? She's all they showed.

I missed last weeks show and maybe I missed some info but I kept looking at Marcus thinking he reminds me of someone. It was driving me crazy...but am I the only one that thinks that Marcus looks very much AND sounds very much like the "normal" guy that used to be on WKRP in Cinncinnati? I can't think of the name of the actor but he was the blond haired guy that was really the only normal one there.I wonder if they are father and son??

What was Chris thinking?? I was yelling at the TV! Trump was telling him that it wasn't Marcus' fault and that the lack of creativity was the problem. Carolyn and George jumped all over him about it too. Why didn't he bring in Mark?

Is anyone else surprised at how much George and Carolyn talk in the board room this round? I guess with each show they feel more and more comfortable saying what they think. Or do you think that in the past it was just edited out?

I agree. As much as Marcus gets on my last nerve, it was so dumb of Chris not to bring anyone else in the boardroom with him. Trump, Carolyn and George were all pretty much telling him it would be a stupid move, and he did it anyway.

It seems like this year the contestants are way more into trying to take a stand and stand out by going against the group and hoping that it will pay off. We saw that with Melissa, we saw it with Marcus when he said (in front of the executives ) that he felt there should have been a ? after the green with envy thing, and we watched Kristy stand up as the only person who felt that their PM shouldn't get an exemption. Why oh why would you put yourself out there like that for no reason? Think people, think!
