The Apprentice....the Trump version...watch out for spoilers

I agree as well. They're right, she should've stepped up, but they set her up to fail. They ganged up on her from the beginning. Why do you think they chose her to wear the suit? They knew it would make whoever wore it look silly (I personally would have loved it  ) They totally didn't give her a fair shake, but she is very high and mighty acting and that bothers me. Plus, she wasn't very professional in defense of herself in the boardroom. So I think she did deserve to go for those reasons only. I really like Rebecca and I think she has a good chance to win it all!

Having taken many group communication and business communication courses, it's so interesting to watch the boardroom sessions. The one girl, the beauty queen, Jennifer (?) was saying before they went in that it wasn't Torral's fault and that they didn't listen to her about the branding and that was the PMs fault, but once she got in there and the 'groupthink' was ganging up on Torral, she went right along with it for the most part.

I agree that Toral should have gone tonight. But I really hate the "clique" that is going on with the other girls. Even Carolyn commented on the fact that the group was clearly split tonight. Why is it that the women always seem to pick someone and gang up on them? (I do admit doing this at a slumber party in 3rd grade! :rotfl: ) I really like Rebecca, but I wonder how she will do when they lose the next time, since she is not part of the group?

As much as I dislike Toral for her superior attitude, I dislike Felicia (is that her name, the PM?) & Kristi even more. I so bad wanted one of them to get fired and I can't wait until they both go. The high school clique thing they have going on is ridiculous. They are grown women who should be able to act more mature than that. I agree that they set up Toral to fail and they knew they were going to rake her over the coals if they went into the boardroom. Quite honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they lost on purpose just to get rid of Toral.

I am really liking the guys this season and would not be disappointed to have 2 men in the finale.

Toral didn't step up at any of the tasks. and she should have stepped up for this taks. that makes her a major liability. and the comments she made after she was fired prove it.

no, they didn't lose because of Toral. but in the boardroom she opened her mouth to criticize everything that was done and kept saying she would have done things differently -- so why didn't she?

I was cheering for the men. I fastforwarded most of the women parts. I cant stand them always slamming each other.
Clay was sure a bossy piece of work-a real tyrant!

The girls idea was horrible. That character was weird looking. And to not put the DQ trademark on --just dumb.
The guys character was good, well thought out, different. Very good.
I was disapointed that they didn't use the jingle-it was good!

It was on our local news last night that Toral's Apprentice media tour was cut off due to the fact that she is now suing the Trump organization for discrimination due to her religious beliefs. She said that her religion doesn't permit her to take on characteristics of animals or portray them as humans or something...someone help me here, I'm tired :rotfl:

it wasn't about religion, it was about her personal sense of dignity, and she didn't bring religion into it until after she'd been called on the carpet.

fo course, if she'd stepped up to the plate and been project manager, the question of the costume would never have come up.

sorry to bump a page 8 thread...heheh

but this is just TOO FUNNY!

does she actually think she has a case against the Trump org? TRUMP himself even said "If it's a religious issue, that's fine...but why didn't you say that before?"

it was her mouth/attitude that got her fired...NOT her anti-dressing-like-a-cartoon-character religious belief

Can we just have an hour of the Excel team rapping with Wycelf? That was quite possibly the funniest thing I've seen on tv in several months. "Ladies...if you see us in the club...freakin'!!!!!" :rotfl: :rotfl2: Nothing like some uptight Trump Jrs rapping!

And, if Toral is really trying to sue the Trump company, I can't see how anything'll come of it. I'm sure she signed all kinds of paperwork concerning something like this.

Wooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!

I didn't like either of them, but I liked her the least. Has anyone ever been that rude after they were fired? "Shutup!" yeah, real professional.

I couldn't have cared less which one of the two went home. The only one on that team that I like is Alla. (And now Randall, since he's on it)

Seriously...what was the PM thinking (was her name Felisha?) telling them that they SAWED THE LEGS OFF THE MANNEQUINS? What a dummy!

OMG--she has NO case!!! She didn't say a word about religion!

No more rude than the fake "I'm sorry" from the beauty queen. Really sounded like a canned and fake apology. I love her comment last week...people think b/c I'm a beauty queen that I can't do anything (something to that affect)...well she proved it this week!

The girls totally blew it!

I'm sad that Christie is gone--I liked her and don't really know why. I wished if she was really that much of a problem, that it had been covered a bit more in earlier episodes. The only time they showed her with that attitude..was when she was telling Toral to step up to the plate! And Toral deserved that.

I think the PM totally lost the job for the ladies IMHO. Trump has kept those with behavioral issues around much longer than that!

Trump is real quick to fire the one nobody gets along with. Martha doesn't seem to do that - Dawn didn't get fired until she actually screwed up and Jim is still there.

I'm really liking Randal. Poor guy looked devastated at having to join the women's team. I don't blame him.

He kept chewin tobacco, cussing, loose cannon Chris for quite a while 1 or 2 seasons ago.

Christy didn't lose the task and I felt she could have at least been given one more week.

Nobody liked Marcus and it seems with the men, when they just brought Marcus in--the PM got fired b/c Marcus was right and he wasn't the reason they lost the task.

In the first week when they fired the witchy lady--the entire team was in agreement.

This week--the team was split.

Like I said--I just editing would have been better in previous weeks if she was really a problem.

Didn't like how the beauty queen practically slammed the door in her face after the reprimand either.

Trump goes for what is in the moment--so Christie must have done something more than we just didn't see. They showed one little blip of her not getting along with the PM and then when she is reprimanded "EVERYONE" has a problem with her? (Only 1 or 2 said she was bossy).

I don't think Trump will be hiring a woman this season.

ETA: I think Martha has her own personal agenda and she isn't doing a real job interview! She fires whomever she wants for whatever reason and often it makes no logical sense given the parameters of the interview process. I think she knows who she wants to hire. She just has to make it stretch for a season.

Poor Randall, he did look out of place with the girls. I was thinking the same thing. I bet he misses the guys.

I was surprised Trump got rid of Christie. Even though Caroline seemed to favor Jennifer getting the boot.

The Wycleff segment was hilarious!!!

Supposedly trump is not too happy with martha because her show is decreasing his ratings..maybe too much apprentice..

I'm not thrilled with marthas show-jim is so arrogant and argumentative. I cant believe she didnt get rid of him this past week.Escpecially after how he handled himself in the supermarket...

Oops! I certainly have not been paying attention. I guess I just have Toral on the brain.
