The Apprentice (Spoilers)

I do remember Troy even mentioning during the show that he was "just a guy from Montana with a high school diploma".

I agree, I do believe that Amy didnt own up to her faults yesterday's show. And yes, she is the only woman left!

I still love Troy! The wheel was wonderful idea, and they had people lining up like nobody's business.

The car rental was a crappy idea, and unless it was a real car.. I would not have lined up.

I think it might have been part of Amy's strategy to be the last woman standing. I thought that last night in the boardroom the other girl took some of the credit for the car idea. But then Amy should have owned up to it. The lame statement of ... I don't remember who's idea it was...... is pathetic. In that game EVERYONE keeps track of their ideas and everyone elses.

My thinking was that Amy may have taken Katarina to the boardroom b/c she may have thought that between Nick and her, Trump may have kept Nick and sent Amy packing.

To me, it was more a sure bet that Trump would send Katarina home than Nick.

Lori P. :)

I agree, I think Amy took Katrina because Trump would have kept Nick! I also agree though that she didn't own up to the Car idea. I don't know, I still like Amy and think she is a great competitor!

Robin, thanks so much for the song Lyrics!!! I appreciate it!!! I really like that song!! :)

NBC kept advertising that someone makes a big mistake. For a while i thought it was Amy calling the gamlers away from the machines (yikes) but since they didn't harp too much on that and she stayed I am now confused as to what the hype was all aboutl. confess that I fell asleep right after they sent Nick upstairs so maybe I missed something????

The mistake would be the lack of a "real prize" from Amy's group.

There was at least one other contestant who did not go to college. She started her own business at the age of 17.

I had originally liked Amy, but after the last two episodes, I started to really dislike her. I thought her behavior in the boardroom was very unprofessional. But, I did think it was Katrina's time to go.

Like so many others here, I also like Troy and Kwame with Bill running behind on 3rd. Nick and Amy can have each other.

What do I think?

I think Kwame will win (it's a rumor I heard on my radio sation) but I wish it would be Amelia (beautiful name).

Thank you for the bios gymnasticsmom68.

My DH and I were discussing how the woman did so well and now are down to one.

It is interesting to see. DH thinks it is because the woman seemed to turn on each other. I don't like that theory but it may be true. Any ideas?

I think Jessie is the other one without a college education, she was homeschooled.

Jesse was sooooooo annoying. She had that whiny voice that ripped through you like a knife. She also backstabbed Kristie.

I liked Amy until last night. I'm rooting for Troy and Kwame! :bounce:

The only thing that bugged me about Troy last night was when he asked that model to step away from his line, he kept saying "darling", "sweetheart", it was driving me crazy. If I was that girl I might have gotten a little cranky with being talked down to like that, whether what they did was right or wrong I didn't like how he talked to her.

<font color=navy>I think the big mistake in the ads was the fact that they got a car rental, but MO is that the real big mistake was Amy covering up for her decision to go for the car rental. They didn't have enough ideas to go on if the car deal fail, and a rental car is not a big deal - the stakes are getting higher and these people need to think big if they're planning on running one of DT's businesses. The fact that she was willing to let one of her subordinates take the fall when she herself made that decision was wrong, and the editing crew made sure to include Katrina's comments that she did not want to rent a car, she wanted to give one away.

Katrina was the better pick to go to the boardroom, and they chose her for a good reason - Amy's been showing much more potential throughout these trials than Katrina has.

I think it'll be interesting to see what happens with this romantic interest that Amy & Nick have- it's bound to get very personal, and I don't think they'll do well against the other three.

Right now I'm thinking it's going to be between Troy, Kwame, and Bill. Bill had a great idea about the VIP, and I think that's what really helped the team win, but I don't think he's as sure as himself as Kwame and Troy. Kwame & Troy have been very careful in their criticisms of others, more so than Bill, or any other competitors in this game.

I really like Troy. I like his spirit, his smile ... he's got a great way to draw people in. I also like Kwame - he's very polished, and has a quiet strength. So far, everyone DT has brought in to monitor the two teams has been very polished and professional. It'll be interesting to see what company he will give to his new manager, and what kind of image he'll want that manager to project.

Oh, and thank you for the bios - that was interesting to read. :)

Amy gets on my nerves. I can't believe she didn't own up to her own lame idea and colossal mistake. That shows a total lack of character IMHO. I haven't cared for Katrina in a long time (well...ever, really), but I felt amy should've gone last night.

I think Trump is very inconsistent in his reasons for firing people. For example, early on, he fired Jason for his terrible mistake of deciding not to met with the client before the jet advertising campaign. But Amy got a free pass for her equally disastrous decision. Trump gave katrina heat for protecting her "girlfriend" Jessie from the boardroom, but he didn't say a word about Kwame protecting Troy or Amy protecting Nick. The totall inconsistaency is geting on my nerves.

I'm hoping for a Kwame or Troy win. I love those two. I think they're a great team, too.

I thought it was a great episode! I am so glad the guys won. I loved when Amy told the models to go get customers out of the guys' line, and Troy just shooed them away. The guys got one of the best rewards yet. They looked like they were having a blast in that suite and casino!

I really like Kwame, Bill and Troy. I would be happy if any one of them won. I actually bought a Cigars around the World membership from Bill years ago as a gift for my BIL. It seemed like a very well-run company. I had no idea it was being run out of a tiny studio apartment.

I am starting to think Amy is showing her true colors. I loved the look on her face when Trump asked her how it felt to finally lose. She looked really irritated. Plus, the "I can't remember" episode made her lose some credibility in my eyes. Go Kwame, Bill and Troy!

The car rental was an awful idea. I've been to the Taj many times and when you see a car, you'd expect the raffle for that car, not a rental. Who cares??

Couldn't they have talked the dealer into giving them his cheapest new car, and then said he could advertise the heck out of it the day the winner comes to the lot, etc?? Especially with the free advertising he got from the TV show. I just wonder where the guys got the $1000 to give away, I assume it's some kind of "seed" money.

I agree that Amy really lost a lot credibility last night not owning up to her idea but what I don't get is why Katrina didn't call her on it?! I have been rooting for Troy all along and I still am. Bill would be my second choice and Kwame third. I just haven't seen Kwame do that much. He seems like a great guy but he hasn't shown much leadership ability, imo. Amy and Nick both bother me now.

Or better yet, come take my boss's job!! :D

Kwame's style of leadership is great!! He even said it himself last night. He lines up the talent and let them do what they're good at. I think Kwame would be the best mgr of a Trump company for that reason. A small business needs a hands on guy like Troy or Bill, but a conglomerate needs a great motivator. Kwame picks a great team, then because his team likes him, they do their best to help the TEAM succeed. I would work my fanny off for a mgr like Kwame!! They're few and far between, unfortunately.
