Hi all, I just wanted to ask if anyone watched the Apprentice last night. It was filmed in my neighborhood and while we were watching it we saw my dog. Did anyone else see him. Me and the kids almost died. They were doing a scan of the neighborhood and zoom- there is my dog sitting in my yard minding his own business and instant fame. His name is Ryder and he is 115ponds of mush. He never barks not even at a camara crew. LOL. Let me know if you saw him. Gina:teeth:

So tell us, what did those houses end up going for?

Does anyone else thing Raj was right on with getting rid of the 4th bedroom to make 3 larger rooms?

I would rather have 3 big rooms than 4 smaller rooms. Yes, I would rather a 4 bedroom house, but not if the rooms are 10x10.

Since the $20,000.00 came from Trump, do you think he went after that contractor that screwed them over? I bet he did and made mince meat out of him!

I agree that the 3 BR's were probably better than the 4. Raj's house came out terrible though. But I don't think that they needed to fire him. I can't wait to get rid of Ivana. Can't stand her!!! The other house came out nice. I liked what they did to the kitchen.
p.s. I didn't see your dog, but I guess because I wasn't looking for him :-)

I didn't see your dog either. What town was it? I'm pretty sure somewhere in Nassau?

I thought the 4 to 3 bedroom move was wrong. It would make a house more saleable, but it reduces, not increases the value of a house. Had the competition been to list the house and whichever sold faster, it would have been a good move. But going from a 4br to a 3br automatically reduces the appraised value, the increased value from bigger rooms wouldn't offset that loss.

Also, I think that while Raj was trying to 'accuse' Kevin because he selected the contractor, Raj should have done something when he realized how bad and how far behind the contractor was. He said it himself - he should have either replaced the contractor or got him focused on one area and brought in another contractor to complete the rest of the work. The failure to correct a bad contractor situation was Raj's not Kevin's.

I saw your dog! Is he a big, white sheppard looking type of creature? LOL. If so, then I am remembering correctly. He was really cute. Liked the inquisitive but sweet expression!

I was just going to ask if your dog was white also? I did see a dog. He was very cute.

As for the show, yeah Raj should have gotten rid of that contractor and found someone else, though personally I would have loved to see Ivana get fired, I just canNOT stand her. I was glad Stacie J. had a chance to redeem herself b/c the other women were so mean to her and really ganged up on her when she got fired. I like the idea of making a larger bedroom out of 2, you could do a master suite, but for appraisal purposes he should have left it 4 bedrooms.

I thought Raj has a real estate background, and he disappointed me in his lack in handling the contractor (especially given his aggressive personality). The vinyl siding on the exterior was a great idea, but the bathroom had to be finished. I'm ok with the 3 bedrooms. I guess Raj is quite the ladies man, wonder if he ever got Robin's phone number lol!

I remember seeing him! That's so cool.

I loved Raj at the end asking for Robins phone number and his commentary in the cab. They don't usually show that for anyone else, do they?

I saw your dog, too! What a handsome boy!

We love watching the show and although I found Raj to be an entertaining guy, I thought the Donald did the right thing. The house was just a mess. I am actually surprised the appraisals were as close as they were.

Do you think Trump brought Stacey back on to give her some crediability back. They really didn't show Stacey doing to much, but Trump said, "Stacey I heard you did a tremendous job on the job site" or something to that matter, and Stacey shook her head yes. Then Ivana said something about Stacey, Trump told her basically to shut up, or drop it. and made Ivana look bad.

In the beginning Stacey was trying to have it out with Ivana, and it seemed like Stacey still wanted to have it out with her, but I don't think they showed anything, or did I miss something.

No, I think Trump brought the fired people back for drama, but I don't think he was praising Stacie to make Ivana look bad. He wanted to point out what a great job Stacie did, because he felt she really took a beating from the girls, and he was truly impressed with her. Ivana should of kept her mouth shut.

Yes that was my dog. He is a white sheppard and you must have been paying attention. I have two friends who watched the show last night and know my dog and missed him. But one has tivo so she is going to watch it again. Well we had our five mintues of fame and it was fun!

Oh by the way, the town is Franklin Square

Was he the white German Shepherd?!!! I saw him and pointed it to my DH (quickly - he was gone fast) because he looks just like OUR female white German Shepherd - Opal!!!!

I watched the show and missed your dog. With Raj having a background in real estate, he should have realized that turning a 4 bedroom house into a 3 bedroom house is not a good idea. He should have hired another contractor to help with the work in other areas.

I can't believe how much you all have to pay for those houses. They would go for about 1/3 to 1/2 of those appraised values around here.!!!

I don't get Raj at all ... I wouldn't give hime my phone number either.

We just watched it and yes we saw your dog!!! My DH and I have this silly thing of "talking" for animals and we did it the entire episode when they did the dog washing service. When your dog came on we both said the same thing "Hi..I'm on TV and I'm cute" Wait till I go tell him I know that dog;) How neat!
