I think Carol seemed a little embarrassed by Brandy's outburst. I noticed she put her hand to her face or something. I felt sorry for Carol and I think she was uncomfortable with the whole thing.Carol, Brandy and Joe showed the world how bitter, disrespectful and narcissist they were.
sooooo disapointed![]()
I thought the finale was a little anti-climatic. The tasks seemed too easy for the $1,000,000 leg. In any case, a bad Amazing Race is still better than most shows on TV these days. Now we have to wait until the Fall for more.![]()
You've got to remember that Caite had years of training in how to be courteous as a pageant contestant. Evidently, she didn't pay so much attention to geography, but she did pay attention to being gracious to other contestants.OMG! Brandy was so nasty, she should had some manners and respect for the show, she kind of called her dumb to her face although she was on the mat, at least Catie showed more manners being so young and so called 'dumb'.
The cowboys should had jump online as soon as Catie and Brent moved, but I think they' are not like that, they might be cowboys but they show more respect.
They didn't win the millions but I think they won the respect from all of us the fans (at least most) for their positive attitude, the respect to the other teams, to the people they encounter all over the world and to themselves. They never called cab drivers dumb A or call each other names, no bitterness at all.
Money can buy you a lot of things, but not kindness and respect for others.

Could you imagine having them drive themselves in SF? Just finding a place to park would have made the challenge more interesting. Driving in SF is easy. Parking is what makes it difficult.DH and I said the same thing. And I really wish they would make them drive themselves on the last leg or at least for part of it.
The clue to finding the final pit stop was way to easy. I would really like to see them test the memories of the route by making them know a mixture of who won the leg, who was elimanated, roadblock or detour options, country or city they are in. That would make it more challenging.
I'm watching and it's good.
I have to say that as much as I love this show, season after season I'm so upset at how badly some of the teams treat people. Brent and Caite deserve to lose based on how mean they were to their poor cab driver.![]()

It was a disadvantage to get to leave first..they got a lot less sleep than the others. Might have slowed them down first instance in the climb and even with thinking.
I think they all get 12 hours rest based on the time they finished the last leg. Other than having to wait at the airport, I don't think there was nay less sleep.
That dark haired one just made herself look like a complete horse's patootie on national TV. What a witch. It's a game...get over it!!!!
Probably back on the pro rodeo circuit. So bummed. Loved Jet's comment on being proud of the race and coming in 2nd. Would love to see what they are doing now.
While I agree it was 'payback', I didn't see it as rude. I thought it was funny.
I'm as mad as a wet hen, darn it.But even if they got 12 hours of sleep, they had to get up earlier. I could get 12 hours of sleep if I went to bed at 3 pm and got up at 3 am, but it would not be the same sleep for me, if I got to sleep in longer in the night. Plus they had to hang at the airport longer, which means they will be awake longer the next day when they had to do the climb. I just don't like how they do it. I also don't think they ended up with an advantage (either of the first two teams) when they all end up on the same plane. I also think they should not be allowed to go up to first class, since that is really dependant on the airline staff..and that is seldom allowed 'in real life'.
I guess I'm the only one happy with the winners!![]()

I have liked them from the start. They were mostly nice to other teams and each other, other than the airport stunt last night and the taxi tantrum in Shanghai. Even though they bickered amongst themselves at times, it was in a good-natured way, as many siblings do. They laughed at themselves and had fun.
The cowboys ran a great race and I would have been happy to see them win, too. I am just thrilled that Brent and Caite came in third. If anyone ever needed proof about how fake beauty pageants are, watching her and listening to her potty mouth should be it.
That's exactly what I said to my husband. Get over it. It was hysterical how the blond one was turning away and covering her face like "I don't know you" when she was on her tirade.
Probably back on the pro rodeo circuit.
Not only did they show it, but Phil stirred the pot!CBS should be ashamed of themselves for showing this banter between Caite and Brandy. Never before have they shown an exchange of words between contestants, or an after show.
In fairness to Phil, Bertram van Munster, and CBS - I don't EVER recall a reception like that at the Finish Line. Certainly not from a presumed 'mature' adult. Not only did they show it, but Phil stirred the pot!
They can't buy first class tickets -- they have to get economy or coach tickets. But I think they said that they asked a flight attendant and she put them there, so they didn't get charged for it, so that would be why it was OK.

I thought that the final task was way too easy!
I was a little disappointed with the winners, I really wanted the cowboys.
And the lesbians. Sheesh!! I guess it never occurred to her that maybe being able to eliminate them was worth more than a million dollars to the models. I must say though that her response was great. "I am dealing with it. I'm up here and you aren't."
Maybe they need to change up the final task a bit. Everyone is on to the put the race in order thing now. The one brother had his race notes right there ready to go. I think that challenge needs to be done from memory... no notes allowed. Also, isn't this the first time they've allowed both partners to do the final task together? It seemed waaay easier than past seasons.
