~ The Amazing Race ~ Season 16 ~

We had a prerace bias toward the cowboy brothers (we have seen them in rodeos) but other than that pairing we haven't figured out who we like/dislike.....though there is something about the lady dating couple that makes me just not like them as people.

I will miss Grandma...so nice and calm.

I am sad to see Team Grandma leave...I liked them and they tried so hard to do their best.

Cord and Jet ran about a perfect a leg as I've seen. I thought it was funny that they knew about the bus terminals and didn't say anything to the other teams.

I can't believe Jordan actually pushed the car backwards since Dan didn't know how to drive a manual transmission that well.

I'm over all this stuff about Caite...she made herself look like an idiot in the pageant on national television three years ago. Enough already...move on.

I thought for sure Louie and Michael were going to get eliminated when they drove past the road block location and all the way into town.

I don't really have any strong feelings one way or the other about any of the teams. I kind of like the cowboys...Cord and Jet...but it's still early in the race.

I still really don't have a favorite. The cowboys maybe but I will hold off another week or two. For some reason I feel like the father daughter team will end up being stronger then they have showed so far.

I have the same feeling about both teams.

I do like how the beauty queen team and Big Brother team have an easy going, lets have fun attitude. The other teams and their attitudes are really get on my nerves.:sad2:

Respectfully, Cord and Jet seem to have the same attitude - if a bit more competitive simply because, well, they're accustomed to competition. I like them.

I DON'T like Jordan of Dan & Jordan, and I don't like Carol. I forgot (sorry) to watch the first twenty minutes, but Carol's girlfriend and Dan don't seem to be as nasty as their respective teammates. Surprisingly - for me ;) - I set "Amazing Race" as a series recording on my DVR, so I can go back and watch the entire episode!

The 2 african-american ladies team (can't think of their names right now) they are nice too.
The lady with the lighter hair (the girlfriends) ahghghg she was like a diva, talking about a 5 star hotel and the clean this and that, oh whatever posh spice wanna be.

I was sorry to see the Grandma/Granddaughter team go last night, but wasn't surprised. What an experience for them to share together, and the memories. Awesome.

I loved seeing Jet and Cord come in first!! I really like them. And still rooting for Jeff and Jordan too.

The gay guy team can go home anytime (just can't stand his attitude!!) and so can the lesbian women. Can't stand the short-haired one, and talking about the nice hotel, clean sheets, blah blah blah. Did she not know what she was in for when she tried out for the show? Good grief!! And next week interrogating Jet and Cord? I hope the guys don't give them any information!

I like the Father/Daughter team, but they don't get much airtime. :(

The lady lawyer team is good too.

Cant stand the guy who allowed the line cutting in last night's episode. I was wishing they'd get a penalty for doing that. You learn in kindergarten that you don't cut in a line!! I want them to go home soon too!

Why did Caitie spit on the ground? I just didn't find it ladylike and I don't like it when guys do it either.

I really hope Jordan has to do a road block that involves math or a puzzle. I wonder if her head would start on fire. I had no idea the Chileans spelled Jose H-O-S-E. I have a feeling that the same thing that did in the GT team last year will do them in, a road block that one teammate (probably Jordan) just can't figure out.

I think the same thing will happen...did you see when Jeff said to Jordan, "what's a baker's dozen?" Like she didn't know that it meant 13 eggs instead of 12. That was part of that clue so she would have failed right there.

I know, they made deal, the Asian couple with the mean ladies, the cops were like come on!! Annoying.

I feel bad for the camera guy that had to put up with their drama in the car :scared1:

I thought maybe she did it to everyone that was making fun of her saying where is her tiara, etc.. I took it that way.

Yup! Not everybody knows that.

She did!!! Disgusting! I hate when people do that, its so gross, it makes me nauseous seriously. I can't believe she did that, a lady! Come on!

I missed the show last night, so I just watched on CBS.com

Sorry to see the grandma go. The cowboys are growing on me.:thumbsup2

How old is Jordan? She acts like a little kid during the interviews. It drives me nuts when women act the way.

I enjoyed watching Elimination Station this morning! The grandma said that she felt that they came in last because she couldn't find the panty at the roadblock. They didn't show that part, just the cop not being able to find it. She and her grandaughter have such a great attitude!

I hope it wasn't the ones she was wearing!! :lmao:

I didn't really have a favorite team until last night. I don't know why, but I found myself really routing for and excited for the cowboys!!! I just loved how everything fell into place for them, and they kicked butt at the challenges. (though I think at both the detour and the road block they had an obvious advantage)

I think it's because what they said is true. People automatically assume they are stupid because they are cowboys.

True--but I find the repugnant reaction of the other teams to be equally as unladylike/ungentleman like. I almost want to ask who made them king/queen.

And noone would have liked me in my first trimester. But spitting is far less disgusting than vomiting.;) (Yes I realize Caitie doesn't have that excuse..but she was on a farm and spit in the grass.)

OK, so the spitting thing. I just got over a sinus infection that I had for 6 weeks and I am also pregnant so I would cough up some nasty stuff and there was no way I was swallowing it back down so I did spit in public a few times. It was that or puke (really I had severe morning sickness that is finally letting up).

If you're sick sometimes you have to spit. It's not pleasant but it's life. Big deal! :confused3
