I love our Moxi, which is a type of tivo through our cable company, but the only problem is, about once a week, they do a test signal.. then our channel flips to the test channel and records that And of course it is always during one of our shows we are recording!!

What a Pain that is! I would call and complain!!

I have Moxi now too through cable. We used to have TIVO which I like better. But, with moxi we have a dual tuner and it's less expensive. ^^^That's never happened to us before. Actually, with TIVO we had some problems with it not changing the channel properly. I don't know if it was the TIVO's fault or if it was the cable box's fault.

I'm sorry to differ with you but the same thing wont happen with a VCR since I am the one doing the programming. If I miss a few minutes of a show it is my own doing not due to the system(?) detecting and recording the show.

Actually, I can set manually as well, if I need to.

Wow, is it really necessary to shout at someone about TIVO vs VCR.

There was no shouting at all. TIVO and VCR are caps in their own right.

Sometimes things are put in caps just to keep them apart from other parts of a sentence.

Sorry if it offended anyone. No shouting at all was intended. Just communication and conversation. I see it all the time and never think anything about it, unless "everything" is caps and a harsh thread is ongoing. Then you know someone means it intentionally.

I think they were referring to the extremely big and bold font. I know that it could be read across the room here where I'm working.

Back to the original thread idea - who's going home? I think tonight is going to be a non elimination night but I think Meredith and Gretchen will come in last. Just from the scenes they showed last week with all the locals around them cheering makes me think that they are far behind the others and are being cheered on to finish anyway.

It looks like they are going to India tonight. So it just might be a non-elem round. M/G are in last place right now...if I remeber correct. So they may just be coming in last place. So if they do, it kinda makes you wonder, other than money what elese can they take away from them, if they come in last and it's a non-elem round?

True, soooo true.

I guess, she shouldn't have been going around that pit stop talking about how she didn't need them.

But some thing just cross my mind. They could also take the clothes that U/J have given them. I had forgotten about that. That is unless they get smart, and put them all on, like the boyfriends where trying to do last week.

I couldn't help but laugh when I saw her carrying the paper bag full of stuff to the pit stop. (they sure did aquire a lot of stuff since having their bags taken away.)
