I'm not sure that was an accident! So far I love this season...do not like Jonathan but all the others I like some more than others. I love the fact that they are going to different countries (so far) this season.

I wonder if Victoria is trying to win the million so she can take her half and tell Jonathan to hit the road....or better yet, she has proof of his abuse so she may even be able to get more of the money should they win.

Can't believe the grandparents are still in the race. I thought for sure they would be goners when the wrestlers finished their desk first. My favorite quote for the entire show was when the wrestlers were counting the bears and Bolo said "66...68...80..." Whoa Bolo! Skipped a few numbers there! No wonder they never could get it right!

I caught Bolo's counting mistake too. Wonder how many times he did that?

I can't believe the sisters were out there that long! Phil said they figured the went through 100 of the bales out of .. what was it, 270?? They must have missed a clue somehow in the hurry.

Jonathan? UGH!!! I am soooooo wanting that jerk to lose and lose in the most embarassing way. That one point in the cab -- was he pulling his hand away from Victoria or was he about to hit her and stopped himself? I'd swear he was thinking about backhanding her. Too bad partners can't switch teams in the middle of the race -- I'd have Jonathan & Victoria switch with Adam ("Hellboy") & Rebecca and have Jonathan and Adam together. After Adam's sunglasses incident, there's a team that would melt down quickly.

I cracked up at that! No wonder it took them so long!

I was sad to see the sisters go. They were such a great team, so supportive of each other. I can't believe they weren't able to find a clue. Poor thing must have just been missing them.

I, too, was bummed to see the sisters go home. I don't like those kind of challenges, where it is just dumb luck. I don't think she missed a clue necessarily, I just think she had bad luck. There were 270 bales & only 20 clues. So far, I still like Kris (sp?) & John (I think that's their names), the couple who came in 2nd. I know they haven't had anything stressful happen to them yet, but they seem to get along well.

I agree - I think she just had bad luck. I think if she had picked one that had a clue in it, they would've shown it, either like they showed the dropped clue last week or they would've told them when the came & told them they were out. I just can't believe she did that for 7 hours! Poor girl had to have been hurting the next day

At the detour last night I said to my husband right away that the teams who picked counting were fools. I have done plenty of inventories in my career, and trust me, counting is not as easy as it looks! Especially with that many items, it is easy to make a mistake. I would have built the desk in a heart beat.

I was sorry to see the sisters go, I can't believe how hard they worked at that. I don't think she necessarily missed a clue, I just think it was bad luck. They were my favorite team to this point, now I am probably rooting for the team that came in second, and the team with Kendra on it. They haven't showed a whole lot of them though, so maybe my opinion will change.

The mistake with the counting was having both team members try to count, and not getting properly organized beforehand. They should have had one count, and the other keep a written tally as they went along. I would have built the desk. I've put together a couple of pieces of Ikea furniture before and it's not that hard and doesn't take too long.

VICTORIA! Really hated this guy at first...Now I can't help but crack up at this clown..

Hated to see the sisters go...Can't believe she rolled out that much hay..
Must have been so depressing seeing the last 2 groups come by and pass them up...

Jonathan has got to go. He is just so rude and abusive. He makes Colin from the last AR look like a nice guy.

I was so sorry to see Lena and Kristy go. They were so supportive of each other. Has anyone seen them on the Morning Show on CBS? What did they say?

Elise

My heart broke for the sisters last night! I was sooo hoping that it would be a non-elimination round. I couldn't believe that poor girl was out there rolling those bales for over 8 hours! I would have broken down!

Bolo and counting...what more can I say other than I was cracking up and shaking my head.

The older couple--still love them but they frustrate me! I really expected them to come in last but it came down to luck in the end.

Did anyone catch the sisters on the CBS morning show? I missed them somehow and was wondering what they had to say.

Right before that scene Victoria gives her little speach on how much she loves Jonathan and that is just his personality. I was really upset with that scene. I thought Phil should have said something about non-violence and threatening your partner, it was caught on tape. I feel they should have eliminated Jonathan for that action and sent Victoria to Emotional Abuse counseling.

That's what's great about the race. There are times when you need to go as fast as possible, but there are also times when you need to slow down. Some teams never figure that out, and it will sooner or later cost them. The wrestlers are definitely one of those teams. On the first show, and the very first clue, Bolo started to read it and then said "blah, blah, blah." They are sure to make a killer mistake one of these shows, and last night could have been the one.

Definitely assembling the desk was the right choice. I'm a total clod at that, but I was able to put some IKEA furniture together. Things are pretty clearly labeled.

I was also surprised to see how exhausted the older team is. I know Don's 69 years old, but he's in good health. Yet he's ready to drop; I don't think they'lll be able to go much further. The wrestlers, too, to a lesser extent. Bolo said that they had slept six hours in four days! That's another thing that catches up with you.

Lastly - I thought it was unfair that Don and MJ got the same 30 minute penalty as Freddy and Kendra (I think) did the week before. They went back and returned the car, while Freddy never did make it right. I guess Don and MJ's penalty was fair, but then Freddy's penalty should have been a lot more. I'd say an hour at least.

What a great show! And the best theme song on TV, too!

:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: I really liked Lena and Kristy. Saw them on the Early Show and the counting task was difficult because they didn't know that they were so suppose to count each individual pan even though they were packed as one...so there were THREE pans in one package to be counted.

They were really hoping it was a nonelimination round because they felt that they had enough energy to go more legs of the race. They were disappointed that it ended in Sweden because they both had lived in the Scandanavian countries previously so they thought that Sweden would not be their downfall.

Kristy reiterated how proud she was of Lena because she said of Lena, she is such a free spirit that she didn't think that Lena could do anything for 8 hours straight. Lena said her focus was not to disappoint Kristy as Kristy wanted to be on the Amazing Race and do well.

My dgs (8) spent the night last night and said of Jonathan, *He's mean!*.

I was sorry to see the sisters go as well--they just seemed like such nice people. The top two teams (Hayden and Aaron and John and Kristy?) seem very strong contenders for finishing. The old couple grates on me.

My only concern with Jonathon is, can't you just see him taking it out on Victoria if/when they're eliminated? I thought she was going to pass out in that hay field. Well, if nothing else, they are a good example of "why marrying for money is a bad idea".

By the way - What was up with Don trying to get his IKEA handler to cheat for him? He kept saying "We're 40 years older than anyone else" and tried to get her to cut him a break. They're a nice team, but that was pretty pathetic.

I felt bad for the girls and also hoped that it was a non-elimination round. I can't even imagine how tired she must have been after 8 hours - oh, who am I kidding - even 1 hour of pushing those hay bales around. It was nice that her partner kept making sure she drank some water.

Jonathan...he doesn't deserve one comment. :crazy2:

Victoria.....needs to be :scared:

The old people ought to be ashamed of themselves when he started tryiing to get the IKEA representative to cheat for him. They should be automatically eliminated for that pathetic showing.

I caught that, too. I saw the IKEA manager make a face and roll her eyes.

I think the only thing keeping Jonathan from actually striking Victoria is the fact that he'd probably be immediately eliminated. He is scum of the lowest order, and I hope he's gone - SOON - and Victoria wakes up and leaves his sorry behind.

I was stunned to see Don actually asking the IKEA manager to let them cheat. :earseek: After him being all about returning the car because "it's wrong - it's not our car", I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

I thought it was hysterical!:rotfl:

It was pathetic, but only b/c he was sooooooo tired of counting he was losing his mind. I love them, I hope they are around for a while longer!

I was so bummed about the poor girls. why did it take them so long with the hay? I can't believe she was doing that for almost 9 hours! I would have lost my mind!
