Sunglasses?!?!? They better rethink their relationship. Life will throw bigger problems at them than sunglasses!

I just want to thank Grog for the article on the AR too. Decoy teams...who knew?

I missed this too--share share share!!!!

Does anybody know if this is replaying Saturday--I might miss the beginning this evening--driving to mom's in St. Augustine before heading to Atlanta tomorrow.

I should be able to see the end (as long as hubby gets home expeditiously from class and doesn't waste time that is!).

An Audience Finally Catches Up to 'The Amazing Race'
By JOE RHODES

With so many people on the lookout for him and his racers, you would expect Mr. van Munster to be worried about Internet spoilers ruining the fun, tipping off destinations and tasks long before they hit the air. "We use decoy teams," he said, obviously enjoying the prospect of outsmarting the cyber spies. "They never really know where we're going. If I take you to Paris," he said, "I'm not taking you to the Eiffel Tower. I take you to the sewer pipes."

Oh--decoys to prevent spoilers!!!

Got it--I thought that there were fake teams within the actual show. It's fake teams to throw off the bloodhounds.

Smart!

Dang! I fogot it was on tonight. We leave for WDW Thurs extremely bright and early and I put off packing anything until tonight.
Looks like I will pack and watch at the same time.
Gotta remember to TIVO the next week.

IMO they need to mix up the teams a bit. One time we had a lot of gay teams and now mostly beautiful model types the last 2. A good mix of teams makes it more interesting.

I really like the sisters but they seem "directionally challenged" and if that keeps up I don't expect them to be around long.

That one guy who was screaming about this experience really showing what type of person you are (and he was talking about his partner) - oh my gosh - he is too much!!!!!

I really like that each team member can only do 6 of the Challenges now instead of someone (chip) doing them all and the other teammate (Kim) doing nothing, so now they both will have to do things.

On the previews for next week when Johnathan and Victoria are in the cab and arguing, it looked like he pulled his arm back and was ready to hit her and stopped himself, I seriously think he may actually be worse then Colin....holy moly! He probably only stopped himself because the camera's are there.

When he was yelling at her and making her apologize I was surprised one of the sisters didn't tell her she didn't need to take that, I would have.

Also, if he were yelling at me in the boat I would have told him where to put his oar.

I was glad the older couple brought back the car, if they hadn't those other two would still be running back and forth between cars yelling, "this isn't our car!!" LOL

Jonathan is abusive to his wife. My sister thought that he was physically abusive last night. I didn't see him actually hit her or anything, but he certainly looked like he would do that.

H@llboy has some serious problems. What a whiner! He was going to throw himself in front of the train because his girlfriend (exgirlfriend?) didn't love him anymore:confused: What a freak.

I actually like the wrestlers...they are nutty and obnoxious to each other, but perhaps they are acting that way to further their "careers"?

The dad/daughter team did a lot better than I expected them to last night! I like the grandparents and the sisters, too.

I missed the first half hour. What happened? I got a real kick out of how many of them changed their minds about which detour to take-skating or the tri-athalon. It cracked me up that they kept running back and forth. :teeth: I had never seen a penalty given before. Since I missed where they went back for the clue, I had no idea they broke the rules. I don't know that I would have known that was a rule breaker.

Oh my gosh, I laughed so hard watching some of them try to rollerskate. That was one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. :teeth:

About h@llboy, after he left his glasses in the boat and he said to his partner. I'm never listening to you again when you tell me to take my glasses off! And she was crying. LOL!!

I agree, Jonathan is abusive. I noticed that on the previews for next week he looked very close to hitting Victoria. Also, when he was getting directions and she wanted him to write them down and went to give him a pen, he "shoved" her. He is definately worse than Colin.

Question: Is there a penalty for driving the wrong car?

Saw the couple return hellboy's SUV, but the editing made it look like the older couple returned the SUV on goodwill instead of breaking the rules.

Which AR was it with the two female lawyers who didn't understand the clue that said "walk to the pit stop" and grabbed a cab? They were also docked 30 minutes and if I recall correctly would have cost them if it wasn't for the fact that it wasn't an elimination round.

I can't believe both New York couples have been eliminated already. I'm so ashamed to be a New Yorker. We're much more savvy than that :)

LOL I was laughing so hard when he yelled at her and said 'if you ever tell me to take my glasses off again...." I thought that was too much.

Also I laughed so loud and hard that I thought I hurt myself when Lori (wrestler) grabbed Phil and said "that's better then 6th" when he told them they were team #5 and Phil looked like he crapped his pants...LOL he really looked shocked....

Also I did see Johathan push Victoria when they were asking for directions and also in that preview I swear it looks like he came thisclose to hitting her.

That was so funny.

I am not sure if any of you remember it, but when Aaron and Hayden showed up at the Roadblock and were slightly behind he started running furiously towards the steps. It was so funny, I was rolling on the floor. He reminded me of Forest Gump when he starts Ruuuunnninnnn!

I think these teams are great this time. There are a lot of interesting teams. I really like the new rule that you can only do the RoadBlocks 6 times during the race. I think all the girls should have done it last night since it didn't require any real strength.

YES!! I noticed that too! LOL!

I think the same on all points....I did see him take off like a shot, there were so many funny moments last night, I really enjoyed the episode.

Also, like I mentioned earlier I really like that idea of only doing 6 roadblocks and I also thought the women should have all done it, that is what I told my DH, if it were us, I would do all of the roadblocks that don't use strength since he would be better at those.

I'm tired of all the bickering and fighting. They are going to lose me this season if I tune in to watch and all I see are the teams fighting.

I'm glad they changed the roadblocks--the new way makes a lot of sense, and the teams will have to think about who does what more. I agree that more of the women should have done this one, it wasn't that difficult (once you got up all those steps...).

Not sorry to see the friends go, they seemed pretty clueless.

I missed Jonathan almost hitting Victoria in the preview, but he did push her when she told him to write stuff down, and he also hit her with the tailgate when he was putting it down--he didn't even seem sorry about it, either. He is such a jerk!

I also thought Heckboy was an idiot with his speech about the glasses, and then threatening to throw himself on the tracks--it reminded me of an abuser, who hits his wife and is then all apologetic. And, doesn't he still live with his parents? Gee, how did such a gem manage to get away from me! I'll just have to tell DH that he's not sexy anymore, since he doesn't have "horns" and live with his mommy!

I like the new way of doing the Roadblock, too. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out, it should be good.

Jonathon is an ***. He definitely pushed her aside when he was getting directions. In the preview, she flinched when it looked like he was about to strike her. Ugh, he's awful.

Oh, and I thought the worst thing about Hellboy was after he apologized, she said something like "I can tell when he is really sorry........blah blah blah". It made my stomach sick.

Now to the teams I like. I like the team that came in first, I can't remember their names, but I think they are the long distance dating couple. I also like the sisters. I was glad they didn't finish last, I think they could go pretty far in the race, they just blew it when they turned the wrong way after the last task. I'm still getting used to the teams, but so far, these are the 2 teams I like best.
