WFD ~ Chicken Parm & some wilted baby spinach with garlic & lemon for DH & DM.
For me some tasty treat out of a box:rotfl:

DM is home with us for an unknown period of time. She slipped discs a few weeks ago and now have major nerve involvement as well. I am so worried about her!
She had xrays this morning & now has to have another MRI:guilty:

Hi!

Another quick check in...the nodules were benign! :cool1:

Also, Andrew is also back to "normal" after his episode of Bells Palsy!!!

Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers...back to cleaning this mess...hope all is well with everyone!

Well I made some excellant cupcakes. :thumbsup2 I took the regular sized Reese's peanut butter cup and put it in the cupcake paper, then put the batter over it and baked it. I made the Betty Crocker recipe for the frosting but used chocolate frosting instead, so good!

So, the cupcakes turned out, huh? I've been wondering if you tried them! Now, I'm craving cupcakes! Care to fly out here and make some for me???

I haven't before, but I'll start keeping my eyes open for some.

...thanks! :thumbsup2

....now, where was I?? Oh yeah:

"...I'm in the mo-o-o-o-d for 'kraut';
simply because it's smel-l-l-l-y...
Funny, but when it's smelly,
The taste's what it's al-l-l-l-l about..."

Man, I'm having a hard day today! I got up quite early (drat DH's alarm! He didn't even bat an eyelash, but it got me up and going), did some dishes and laundry before the kids got up. Once they were up and moving they all did their summer homework, cleaned their rooms and got ready for the day.

We ran to 2 stores to pick up last minute clothing items for our camping trip this Wednesday (still need to do the food shopping), then to the library. We spent quite a bit of time there, as the kids love it, and weren't fighting, for a change!

Since they were doing so well, we went to A&W for lunch. Corn dogs, hamburgers and onion rings. Yum!

Now we are home, and I'm going to take a nap! I have no idea what's for dinner. Nothing is sounding good, and the smell of things cooking is not sitting well with me lately! Not sure why this didn't happen at the beginning of the pregnancy.

Keep your fingers crossed for me, please. I had an AFP test last Wednesday, and have been playing phone tag with my nurse all day. I'm a little concerned since she told me they would only call if there was a positive outcome of the test which would indicate a birth defect. I know that the chance of a false positive is great, so I'm not overly worried, but could use all the prayers and pixie dust I can get! Thanks!

Glynis, Prayers for you and the little one!

...hamburgers taste really awesome with sauerkraut too.....:hyper:

Now, I haven't had it in a while but I when I was bartending, one of the places I worked had a burger on the menu...it was awesome! It was the burger, swiss cheese, bacon, sauerkraut and thousand island dressing. Oh my word, it was sooooooo freakin good!

My neice has Celiac's but I am not sure if my sister actually makes things from scratch for her. I will ask.

I hope everything is OK, Glynis. I'll be thinking about you.
By the way, I am really enjoying reading about your London trip. I don't think I mentioned that yet.

I am just having leftovers tonight--cold fried chicken, potato salad, and cole slaw.

You're welcome, I am so happy for you both!! Also want to thank you for the birthday "box of foodie goodness" and the grad gift & card for Kyle. You are TOO SWEET!

Prayers and good thoughts coming your way!

Has anyone seen Stephanie (nucpharm) around the boards lately? She hasn't checked in here in a long time and I'm kinda worried.

Thanks! By the way, my husband saw the photos you posted yesterday, and wants to know if you'll marry him. I mentioned that you were happily married (not to mention that my husband is as well), and he just grinned.

I'll try to get the next part of the London TR up today.

Terrific way to kick a week off:)

Aunt Lauren,

Thank you for thinking of me and contributing to my music collection, lol. I really appreciate your kindness. Please thank Mr. Tom & Andrew for me as well. Take care.

Kyle

Glynis -- I hope everything is okay. I had a false positive test with Liam, and the days between the test results and the ultrasound were tough. I hope you don't have to go through that.

Kathy -- Good luck with the new exercise schedule!

Lauren -- I'm so glad everything came back negative. I'm also happy to hear that Andrew is better.

Kimmar -- We have a couple food allergies in our house, but gluten isn't one of them. I did just buy this egg substitute by Ener-G that is also gluten-free. I don't know if that would help you at all.
