What do you want to know about AllStar Movies?

I suggest requesting 101 Dalmatians or Toy Story. My personal preference is Buzz Lightyear because of the proximity to everything without costing extra. Although Pongo would probably be just as good.

Floors "7, 8, 9" corrospond to Movies. ground floor is 7, middle is 8, 9 is top.


*Also* Sold-Out doesn't necesarily mean all the rooms have people in them. Discount organizations like AAA travel reserve/buy blocks of rooms for their packages. You could check around. I was there once when the resorts were "sold out". We made other arrangements, then found out we could have walked up to the front desk of any of the resorts and checked in. Kind of frustrating...

Is it actually "sold out" ie. filled to capacity, or did they just not have anymore discount codes? When I called to make our ressies for 12/9-12/12.. They didn't have any discount codes left for any values, had to take CBR. Oh darn.

We just made reservations Sunday evening for Pop, using the $55 code, for 12/5-12/10, so there may still be rooms available for earlier dates.

Just wanted to let all of you who keep this thread up and running it is GREAT!!!!!!! After reading it every chance I get I have read the WHOLE thread. My DH says I'm crazy. Ican't wait to stay there when we go next month.

Just wanted to say a big Thank You to all of you here that have posted POP information. We recently returned from a 12 night stay there (extended w/Jeanne) & we had a wonderful time!

I've posted some restaurant reviews on the Restaurant board & some thoughts on our stay on another thread on the Resorts board.

We enjoyed our stay so much, we'll be back in January!

There was a lot of very helpful info on this thread that I may not have known once at the Resort. Let's keep this great thread going!

posting a link is very simple.

Bring the link up, copy the text from the address bar in your browser (the thing that starts with "http://www.disboards.com/...")

paste that text in to your message. THe forum automatically makes it in to a link. If you have trouble you can put the start and end marks in yourself "[ u r l ]" and "[ / u r l ]" only without the spaces. Just have your link text in between the start and stop spots.

if you want to label a link you do this...
"[ u r l =http://websiteaddress]then you type whatever you want here and it is the text that shows up as a link[ / u r l ]"

example [ u r l = h t t p ://www.haysllc.com/Disneyworld/Resorts/index.htm]Chairborne Ranger's Resorts Page[ / u r l]

when you take the extra spaces out of the above example, this is what you get...

Direct from official sources, there are no current plans for the Legendary Years at this time.

At this time, Disney's just waiting out the economy and tourism levels, seeing where they go. Not that Legendary wouldn't be a success, but they just don't want it to take away too much from other Disney resorts. It will happen... it's just a matter of time and patience.

I think if they opened the legendary years right now, the AllStars would be ghost towns except for wild packs of cheerleaders roving to and fro.

BTW, unlike Tyler, I am NOT a CM...

Tyler is by far the more reliable information source. I am just a Disney fan that collects info. I like taking groups of newbies to Disney. It saves me money and I get to see the parks fresh every time through their eyes.. This June will be my biggest group.
