Hi everyone. We checked in at the Poly today and spent the afternoon at the pool. Our room is great -- 3rd floor Hawaii with a gorgeous view of the castle.

Sunrise Safari this morning was awesome. I miss AKL but we are enjoying the Poly.

Haven't had any problems with crowds, but haven't been to the MK yet.

Hi mmmears! Glad to see you're enjoying your stay and the crowds haven't been too bad. I 'd love to hear your opinion on which resort you prefer...AKL or Poly. I had booked AKL and was dead set on staying there until two weeks ago when the Poly opened up. I think next time we'll do AKL...unless I fall in love with the Poly and just have to save longer to stay again!

The EWP came by at 9:00 and Wishes was at 10:00. Spectro was at 9 and 11 the last few nights, but I guess they'll go back to the regular schedule for Spectro now that Easter is almost over.

You are going to love Poly - it really is a wonderful place to stay, and the monorail and the ferry boat are great for going to MK.

I guess I better make a second choice request and ditch Fiji if it is under renovation! Would you recommend Tokelau? Did you decide if you're going over to the GF for movies and smores? I think I'd like to try that one night Enjoy the rest of your stay, and thanks for keeping us updated!

I'll get the scoop on Fiji from someone. I'd like to find out too - I was so disappointed when I found out it was closed. Actually I would recommend Niue or Samoa. Tokelau is close to the TTC, but Samoa and Niue are more centrally located it seems to me. It's a nice longhouse, and the views are really good, but I think if I had to pick again I'd pick one of those instead.

I'm going to try out the GF for a movie on Wednesday night. I have to check the movie schedule first, but I think that will work out pretty good. I'll let you know how it works out!

I'll get the scoop on Fiji from someone. I'd like to find out too - I was so disappointed when I found out it was closed. Actually I would recommend Niue or Samoa. Thanks for your advice! I am trying to tell myself that it won't matter what longhouse I'm in, but I'm such a crazy planner that I have to have a "plan B" in my head in case Fiji is still closed! I guess this researching is what keeps me busy while waiting for my time to come! Johnsonet also really liked Niue so maybe I'll check that out...or maybe I could just walk up at check in and tell the CM what I'm looking for and see what they come up with...all I know is, thirteen days to wait is a really, really long time! You are so lucky you are there right now.

I'm glad you're checking out the beach at GF. Does the Poly front desk have the movie schedule and how much it is for the smores? I think that will be so much fun! I'd love to hear what you think about it and if it's worth the trip over

Hi! We are doing a split CL stay in September between AKL and Poly (more days at Poly). So far how do you compare the two resorts...especially the concierge service? Enjoy the rest of your trip and thanks!!

how is mousekeeping about leaving towel animals? We got a few a day when we stayed at the WL and my DD is already talking about seeing them again One afternoon, we came back and they made it look like someone was lying in my bed reading a menu! My daughter was in shock because she thought someone was really in my bed for a minute there. I'll have to see if I can post the photo to show you guys, it was really clever!

I've been looking for you & your hat today, but I haven't seen you. We're spending the evening at the Poly. I'll keep looking for you!

We're in Tokelau, and still haven't bumped into anyone from the Poly thread. Your room view sounds awesome!

There are a few "girls" at BoutTiki who DIS, but so far haven't met up with anyone else. Keep on the lookout for the white baseball hat with the LGMH on it!. Tonight we're having dinner at O'hana and then going to MK for EMH. It was horribly crowded at MK earlier today.

YAY! You got the 3d floor That's what we had in July and it was just amazing! Can't wait to hear all about it. Hope the weather is as beautiful there as it is here in SC today ENJOY!!

It has been great. Thank you for your kind thoughts and all the help you have given me over the past year. Our trip is so much better because of it!

My DD & I walked back from the GF tonight (had to go to Basin White). We passed by the beach movie setup right before it started. Looked like fun. There was a campfire there and maybe 15 people.

We passed by Fiji and they are definitely working on the outside stairs there. It was all boarded up.

We are going to watch Wishes from our balcony in 15 mins.

I am posting crowd fear threads for my week in September on the boards in hopes people will cancel and reschedule. I really just want Disney and the Poly all to myself. Is it wrong? Unless a few of my Poly friends want to hang with me. I can deal with that. Unfortunately, I don't think my evil plan will work though.

Anyway, crazy family afternoon today. Too much food, too much noise, and too many relatives. I am glad to be back on the DIS!

Funny photo! It DOES look like a person We didn't have any towel animals in March except for the Mickey head that was on one of the beds when we arrived.

It has been great. Thank you for your kind thoughts and all the help you have given me over the past year. Our trip is so much better because of it!
