Welcome to our group. I added your information to the list as well. I am sure that you are worried, but if you go into the trip with the open mind of letting things play out the way they will and not trying to over do things, I think it will work out fine.

:welcome: Welcome to anyone else that I forgot. It's been a busy week so I might have forgotten to welcome someone, but I have added everyone to the list.

I love to make my own using scrapbooking materials. I like to be fancy though. I do it more for the kids than for me, I think! Anyway, I always find Disney scrapbooks and then make them a page with high quality print paper and character pictures. We slide the pages that we make for each character out, hand it to the character (who signs with sharpie markers), then slide the page back into the scrapbook. When I make each character page, I save a place for the character to sign, and a place for a picture to go, and then I place to describe any interaction, special moments, etc. so that we remember it in the future. This means way more to our kids than just signatures since my one can't read at all and the other is just learning.

I'm a total scrapbooking nerd, that sounds like a great idea, love to see some pics if you have time!

Just made our final payment!:cool1::woohoo::cheer2::banana:

well, that doesn't tell me much about what is open, but new. (like did they do the updating to dumbo cue yet?) however it does say tiki is expect to re-open june 1st, which means we can expect to listen to my 2ed fav disney music. (1st is main street electrical parade, then comes tiki room.)

sorry, that's all I have... maybe someone else will have info about new stuff?:confused3

June 1 was the original reopening date after the fire, they are now saying mid-August. As you might imagine, this longer delay has prompted many to speculate that they are bringing back the original tiki room or a tiki III

I don't know where I read it, but I read that the Tiki room is now not going to reopen until August 1. I think it was a thread on the DIS. Anyway, I guess it's rumored that they might reopen it has the original tiki room and not the Under New Management Tiki Room. You might miss it this trip, Singledad. :sad1:
