Thought I'd jump in on the June thread too! The kids and I will be picking up DH on May 27th (home for R&R) and drive on down to our happy place. Will be there May 27 - June 9th. So excited!!!!!! Hope to see some fellow DISers while we are there!!!!!!

Welcome aboard! So I assume R&R means he's military on his 2 week leave? Thank you so much for your family's service! My husband is air force (currently home), and my brother in law is in Iraq for a year, so I really appreciate what military families go through! An R&R trip to Disney would be awesome! Hope you have a wonderful time!

I know I'm a little late to the game, but we will be there May30th till June 6th, at the Pop! VERY EXCITED!!!!

Post your state or country to get added to the Team June map!!!! I am sure their are more of you out there from different states, we only have 32 states and 2 countries. If your state is not in blue, it is not on the map on page one!

Not sure how I missed this thread. Anyway, we'll be arriving June 3rd and staying until June 11th. We'll be off site at Marriott Harbour Lakes. 48 days til we leave (we're driving)!!

If you bring an autograph book from home, what do you buy (or make?). I have no idea if my kids will be interested or not, so I thought I'd bring along something inexpensive and a sharpie just in case (so I'm not caught at the world buying a $12 autograph book or some such nonsense!).

Is there as much green space as it looks on the map? It looks like if you took the monorail from Epcot to MK there is nothing but roads and trees.

For our last trip I went up to Michaels (a local craft store) and it their dollar bins they had Disney memo books, about 5x5. I picked up princesses for my daughter and cars for my son, it worked out great and only cost me $2. Oh I also brought sharpies for autographs, I read somewhere on DIS that it's easier for some characters to grasp than a pen, the Mad Hatter loved smelling it too. I think that's why he's mad!

Wow, is there really no one from New York? That's surprising!

:woohoo:OFFICIAL JUNE ROLL CALL!!!:woohoo:

live4christp1 May 27- June 9 @ ???

Thanks for adding us!!!!! :goodvibes

We are staying offsite at Westgate Vacation Villas - we don't own there but have rented from owners for the past 6 years - we love it - our home away from home. This year a found a great deal through Armed Forces Vacation Club. :goodvibes:)

:cool1: Still here and trying to check in as often as possible.

This morning I ordered our Park Hoppers from Undercover Tourist. I just ordered 1 adult and 2 kids (for the 3 kids) for now. Since we are still undecided if DH and I will make a quick trip back in the Fall for F&W Festival I'm going to wait on our ticket purchases. I know we need to order at least ONE Annual Pass so we can also get the TIW card though. I just haven't decided if I'll shell out all cash for that or if I'll use Disney Rewards Dollars. Part of me is thinking of saving the Disney Rewards Dollars card to use at WDW for our food/snacks/counter service visits. :confused3

Today the kids get 3rd quarter report cards and I have promised a Disney Dollar for them to spend for every A or highest mark they earned. :) I know my daughter will rack up the dollars today, and my youngest son will probably get quite a few as well, but my older son...not sure he'll get too many unfortunately. :headache: So far our rewards chart at home doesn't have anybody at the $25 dollar mark quite yet, but this will push some of them over I think. So this weekend I may go out and purchase VISA Gift Cards for them so they have something concrete for all of their hard work...and to encourage them to step up the bar a little. We have at least 50 more days to go so they can still rack up some Disney cash!

For first-timers that I book I always suggest they go to AC Moore or a Michaels store and buy one of the 'make it yourself' autograph books. They are inexpensive and a good way to see if the kids will even really be into it. And if they aren't, you can use it as a photo book (buy the triangular photo sitckys to hold the picture in place) to keep their memories in.

Thanks for the tip!

last year I bought a large sketch pad. I made sure to tell each character to please leave enough room for a photo to also fit on the page. (only Belle didn't hear me. too much noise.) I have since then printed photos of DD with each character and put the photo with the sig's. since she isn't a reader yet, it allows her to go through her book on her own and not have to ask every two seconds 'who is that'. this year I am 'cheating' and I bought the photo and autograph book (tinkerbell ones) for 10.50 each. (http://www.disneystore.com/photo-me...k-and-photo-album/mp/1254605/1000251+1000809/ ) was worth it to me. :confused3

also, when I am on the rail i've not actually relaxed enough to check outside much. normally talking and planning what we are doing.

Oh, what a great idea! That Tink book is cute...

Sounds like I really need to make a trip to Michaels!!

Just paid off our balance. :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

After taking a moment of silence for my bank balance :sad1: the excitement really kicked in. :yay: There's no turning back now. Early on the morning of June 3rd we'll be pulling in to the parking lot of POP for the start of 9 magical days! :cool1:

Pffft. We just had to order oil. The weather better stay warm because I can't afford another 100 gallons AND a Disney vacation. LOL

I know!! I'm excited that after this last tuition payment for the year (who sends their kid to an expensive preschool, shoulda just sent her to public school) We can finally start saving i'm not to worry though I have a promise ring engagement ring, and wedding band that I've been waiting to sell just for this occasion :lmao:

Yeah I am thrilled that we finally made our last tuition payment for the year and won't have another one for another year! I am happy to put that money towards our Disney trip.
