Lion King show in Animal Kingdom which I believe originally started in Magic Kingdom I believe.

;o)

I did not know this. I did find pics of a parade from our first visit in 2001, and I swear that the Simba from the FoLK show was a float from then :confused3

Here is another great tip compliments of the All Ears Newsletter. Take a power strip with you to make recharging all those cell phones, I pods, game systems, lap tops and camera batteries that much more easier. If your family is anything like ours having a 6 outlet power strip takes the aggravation out of inconveniently placed or too few plugs. Having everything in the same spot makes keeping track of everything easier as well.

for those of you not packing yet throw this item in a suit case that you will be bringing down so that you won't forget!

There!
NOW you're PACKING! :woohoo:

Great tip, I know we always have too much stuff to plug in.

Also I think at the Poly and CSR there are power strips built into the desk/table.

Hi. I just found this thread and LOVE IT! I am planning a vacation to Disney World from June 4-8 for my family of four (2 adults, DD17, DS11). I am currently very frustrated. I trying to plan out my vacation but I am getting very overwhelmed due to the lack of dining options and times. I would truly appreciate your help.
Scheduled ADRs as of now:
June 4: Yak and Yeti:11 am
Boma: 7:10 pm
June 5: Chef Mickey: 7:35am
California Grill: 5:45pm and 7:30pm
June 6: Mama Melrose: 1pm
Dinner:???
June 7: 1900 Park: 8:10am
Tutto Italia: 7:35pm
-We are visiting AK on June 4. I currently have a ADR for 11am at Yak & Yeti. However, I feel that this is a little early for lunch. I saw that there is many available tables at 12:30pm for a party of 2. If I book two of these timeslots what is the chance that we will sit together? Is this even possible?
- We are visiting MK on June 5. With our 7:35am reservation do you think we will make it by opening to see rope drop? Regarding California Grill, the parade is at 9pm and fireworks at 10pm (even though the park doesn't close until 11pm). My daughter and I want to see the parade since it is no longer Spectromagic but my son and husband could care less. DH thinks that 5:45pm is too early for dinner but I am afraid if our reservation is 7:30 we won't make it in time to see the parade and I don't see another day to see the parade.
- We are visiting HS on June 6. The park is open until 7pm but has EMH until 10pm. There is no availability at Mama Melrose, H&V, or Sci-Fi . DS doesn't like BD or Prime Time. That eliminates all of HS. The restaurants with availability that we were considering include Teppan Edo, Artist Point, Flying Fish, or Kona Cafe. Right now we are on the fence about adding a park hopper but are willing to add it as it might make our trip less stressful. We are trying to stay away from any more buffets.

I would truly appreciate any suggestions, opinions, experience, and help regarding our ADRs. Thanks for your help!
Debbie

Kilauea Volcano Delight...Yum! One of my favorite parts of the luau. We go every year. I know some people don't enjoy it, but we find it fun and my little ones love it.

My family is going down for my senior trip on June 18-22. We're staying in All-Star Movies. I can't wait! :woohoo:

Welcome to everyone that just joined the thread. :welcome:

I have posted everyone's information to page 1 of the thread.

Happy planning with a great group. Everyone is really helpful so ask any questions you want. :yay:

In response to your HS reservation issues: you're just a boat ride away from the Beach Club/Yacht Club/Boardwalk area, have you checked out availability at these resorts or even ESPN Club? We're eating at Yachtsmans on our non-park day. As for the California Grille, I believe most signature restaurant dinners are llooonngg, so even though you have a 545 res. you may not actually start in on your entree until 645, so it really is not that early (especially if you enjoy an appetizer or drink first!:cool1:)
