I'm a little late to the game.....but we are going in June too........86 days and counting. We will be there from 6/19-6/28, staying @BWV for the first time........soooooo excited.

So glad I wasn't the last one to the party! We're at 71 days! We recently purchased new luggage...I hate to put it away because I think of our upcoming Disney Trip everytime I walk past it! Who knew that a suitcase could bring on such excitement!

I have seen luggage tags like these for years on the Creative DISigns .

I agree, I don't think there's a problem with it. As you mentioned I've seen lots of people using all sorts of images from wdw. I've gotten some shirt designs from the board that I plan on making for our kiddos.
TooManyCars...I loved your tags & might use them, too. :)

Cute tags! My dh has had to travel recently for work and I scanned some artwork the kids did and made tags for him (just printer paper and then I laminated them).

great to know, and welcome newcomer! Jump on in!

I can't tell you much about the crowds as I've only gone in june as an adult, and didn't pay much attention to crowds as a kid. despite what I seem like online, offline I am not very big on people and crowds... I don't feel smooshed at disney, but I also start at the back and work my way forwards, enter pre-rope drop half the time, or wait just after. and I avoid parades like the plague...

of course this year I am not following that last one... no way am I missing the main street electrical parade if I would have known it was running last year, i so would have gone... one thing I remeber from childhood that holds ALOT of pixie dust for me. hoping this 'follow up' years later gives me the same awe!

oh, ps. are you a june birthday??

Hey All!!! Jumping on the June bandwagon. Myself, DH and DD12 will be there because my daughter is playing in the AAU Volleyball Nationals at Wide World of Sports. We will be there arriving June 11 and staying at Windsor Palms with the rest of her team.

ADR so far:

June 12 - Rose & Crown - 7:50p
June 13 - Liberty Tree Tavern - 7:40p

this could get fun . If anyone wants one I'll be happy to make...

No June birthdays in our group. We chose June this year due to school schedules. We've always taken our boys out of school for a week in September, but DS14 will start high school this year and the hs attendance policy is preventing us (they make it pretty tough on the kids who miss more than 3 days in a semester and unfortunately, my DS14 would struggle! Utlimately our choice, but totally influenced by the policy). So, my thoughts were that a June trip is much better than no trip at all.

We also avoid parades (great time to hit the rides!), but I am absolutely taking my boys to the Electrical Light Parade! I remember the very first time I saw it as a kid and was in total awe!!! Can't wait!!!! I'll probably need a tissue! I hope you enjoy it as much now as you did then also!

And I forgot to ask earlier...anyone know how the crowds at the waterparks are? That's one thing I don't think I've checked out. I have never minded the heat during our trips, plenty of AC to get into and the pools feel great(and September has always been HOT and humid...I actually hope June is the same! Great time for the waterparks).

I was just working on another too. course, now I"m going to have to use them and go buy my own tag holder..but I made them using your dimensions from earlier so they'll fit the disney tags

Welcome to everyone joining our thread. I have updated the list on page 1 and added everyone's information. :welcome:

If we hit the water parks early, we have never had a problem in June or July which is when we typically go. It can get crowded about 11 or 12 but that is when we have usually had enough and head back to the hotel. We have never had a problem.

I really enjoyed the electrical light parade. My kids really liked it last year too. It was a fun memory to share with them. This year, the thing that makes me really excited is hoping to see The magic, memories, and you show on the castle. It's something that I really want to see.

I'm so excited to have found this thread! We (DH and 2 DS) are headed to CSR 6/2 through 6/13. This is our first June trip EVER...I've always been there over Spring Break (as a kid) or in September/October (as an adult and with our kids).

Actually, we are part of a Grand Gathering...just 10 of us this time (sometimes there are 14). None of us have been in June, so..........give me some good news about crowds! We're so used to those small "value season" crowds, I hope we're not going to be looking at each other and saying "what have we done:eek:?"

We subscribe to Touring Plans so I've read tons of numbers on there, but I'm looking for "life experience", if you have any to offer.

We are early birds as opposed to night owls, so our plan is usually to be at the park at rope drop, do the FP (for things like TSM), etc. Is this still a good plan for June with the larger crowds?

I apologize if this has already been asked on an earlier page, but I'm at work (shhhhh...don't tell!) and didn't have time to read through the entire thread yet (but I will!).

So ClassicCat going with your favorite sister didn't make it into the top of this thread I noticed! Just kidding, can't wait to do our first trip in June with you guys!

So excited as well, this is our first June trip after doing September for years. We went in Dec 2010 as a surprise to the kids now we are going with sister and family and parents. Looking forward to June 2, only 10 weeks from tomorrow. We will be there until the 13th so nice long time to do everything Disney.

Just wanted to let you know I decided not to completely wing it...I broke down and made an ADR for Boma June 10 at 5:15 :)

I second the advice of, go in the morning, avoid midday to afternoon. those are the busy times, and the hottest times ( which is why it is busy.)

I am hopeing that since I will be there early june, that local kids may still be in school.. cause our planned water park day is a week day.. one can hope that = less crowds. :confused3

I have uploaded a photo from Disney world. The first one is easy. Can you tell me where in Disney World the photograph was taken?
