We're going to DisneyWorld!!!

We're already on the first post, but we're not telling our kids yet and I needed to release some pent up excitement. I feel better now.

LOL! That's exactly how it is in this house too! DH & I use the word "Cindy's" (for Cinderella) instead of WDW so the kids won't catch on. We're going to tell them a month in advance but until then I gotta keep it inside too.

They were actually leftover from Christmas (have a winter scene on them).
They were in the back and I had to ask them if they had them.

Def. worth spending a little time hunting them down.

6) What is your favorite Disney TS restaurant? Le Cellier

7) What is your favorite Disney memory....(since the theme is Let the Memories Begin). Riding Dumbo with my son during the fireworks when he was three - that was magic.

Just found the thread today so here goes! This is our first trip to WDW
Staying at POR June 13 - June 19. DH, DS 9, DD 7, DS 5 & myself.
Since it's our first time I've been reading everything Disney, especially the Unofficial Guide & this board!
It's a surprise for the kids but I think we'll tell them one month in advance. I think it would help build up the excitement and they could help plan what they would really like to see.

We will be at POR at the same time! Maybe we'll run into each other. We are both families of five (my MIL is going w/us), so we'll both be in Alligator Bayou. This is our second trip, but first at a mod resort. Congrats on keeping it a secret from the kids. We wanted to suprise our kids too. We were originally supposed to go in April, but moved it back to June to save money. When we told our boys we couldn't go in April, the looks on their faces were so sad, we had to tell them about June. The best advice I can give you for your first trip, is to not expect to do everything. We all went in w/our top 3 rides per park and we planned on doing that as our must haves, anything else we got to do was a bonus. You guys will have so much fun!! The DISboards have so much great info on here. It really helped in making our first trip go so smoothly.

June 2nd- 12:00 PM Le Chefs de France; ((CS from Epcot for dinner))

June 3rd- 6:20 PM Jiko; ((snacks @ AK for breakfast, Mara CS for lunch))

June 4th- 9:15 AM Kona Cafe; 6:35 PM Tony's Town Square

June 5th- we'll just hit Wolfgang Puck Express for lunch, then grab a couple Earl of Sandwiches on our way to Portofino Bay Hotel.

I added everything to the list on page 1. We love Kona and I am wondering if I am going to miss it this year. We left it off to try a couple of new places.

Oh my goodness, 89 days! And we just upgraded to QSDP, more for experimenting than anything else since it came to saving us 3 bucks, but hopefully it will prove to be worth it.
We're also trying to get the whole family to join the vacation, but they all seem to want to wait until next year for DD's graduation trip. Oh well, family vacation has to wait a year.

*My Aunt – Let me see if I can talk your Uncle into going. We could tour together for the first half of your trip ( I would have loved this!)
*My friend and her husband – My friend doesn’t like Disney World at all. Her husband on the other hand just loves it! He was drooling as he asked me all the questions (when, where…etc)

6) What is your favorite Disney TS restaurant? Kona Café. It is a must on every trip.

I have three.
1- going with my Aunt, Uncle and cousins every year.
2. Seeing my daughter’s reaction (28 months at the time) the first time she entered a Disney park. The picture is priceless
3. Eating at Norway with the Princess’. My DD was 3 ½, over joyed and in awe of meeting so many princess’. It brought tears to my eyes.
