Taking your dates off the front page of this thread (Disney 1derland June 2-12 @ Poly) which ironically enough are the same dates I will be there... :thumbsup2 This is what I found: *they're pretty accurate- only I do the opposite of what they suggest. ie. I GO when they say DON'T GO :rotfl2:

OMG I had no idea that first post was there! Soooooooo awesome! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Looks like our week there is pretty much a "7" for crowds. I just looked at the calendars on touringplans.com and they rated most of those days I'm there a 5-7. That is actually better than I thought! I sort of assumed June=9 pretty much no matter what.

Plus I'm not changing my plans around no matter what an crowd calendar says! I don't have park hoppers so my ADRs depend on where we are going to be!

I think I'm driving my DH crazy with all my Disney talk!

HAHAHA!!! I know I am! DH told me so on Saturday and I said: "I'll try not to talk about it around you for one week" DH: "You can't do that, you'll explode!" Of course, we were around family on Sunday that we don't see too often and I think 3 different people asked me about Disney! I just looked at DH and said "Hey,they asked and I can't be rude!" :rotfl2:

Just getting a little excited... Here's my two big countdowns.

59 days until Disney for us and we just added another day last night. :cool1:

35 more school days/teaching days. :cheer2:

 YAY!

Only 32 more teaching days here, 30 with kids!
and 53 days til Florida! 58 til DISNEY!!!

6 weeks away, so excited!!!

I think I have about 75% of my to do list finished!!! I need to finish up some shopping and start packing of course! :goodvibes
:laundy:

We have so much going on right now that the time should go by pretty fast. We have something going on every single weekend until we leave! :scared1: Plus I am working on getting things ready for DD's graduation party, the day that we leave for Disney. Between that & getting ready for the trip, I may go insane, :rotfl2:

please? I am going over my packing list now, and need to double check it against other's to make sure I am not missing something glaringly important. :goodvibes

I posted mine in my PTR a couple weeks ago. I posted my park bag packing list too :)

eta--- packing list is on page 3! I can post it over here if people are interested... it's REALLY long. No way you could forget anything if you bring all that!

Now that Easter is behind us, I can start packing our suitcase as I don't think we'll be doing anymore trips between now and disney.

I was at a sporting goods store over the weekend so I got some body glide for our trip! I also picked up some ponchos for the adults just have to go get some kid sized ones as they were all out. Getting excited!:cool1:

Photos taken at Disney World have always been a major part of any of my visits. Capturing the memories of the sights, friends and family. If you feel the same as I do please join in and share.

Where was your favorite photo taken?

What kind of camera equipment do you own and take with you to the world.

Are you a casual photographer or a semi-pro?

Do you have any links you would like to share of some of your best works or special memories?

Any photography help or hints you would like to share with Team June?

My sister just ordered the new Kodak EasyShare Sport camera for this trip. It's waterproof, sand proof and dust proof and small in size. It also takes normal batteries (can't remember if it was AAA or AA). The only negative I can see (and the camera hasn't arrived yet) is that the zoom is only a digital zoom and not optical. But for a point and shoot camera, it should hopefully serve her well in the parks.

In past trips we, recidivists that we are, have always used our 35mm Olympus, which has since died of old age. We have a digital camera of some kind, which I hate becuase of the shutter lag, & the kids have a digi-camcorder. My oldest DD has a Kodak easyshare which she got as a present last Spring Break for her DC trip. She does very well with it & the colors on outside pic's are amazing! She will get a chance to test it's Disney performance tomorrow as her French class is going on a field trip to Epcot!:cool1: Our favorite Disney pic's have all been taken by Disney photogs, usually at character meals: these are the only ones with all the family in them! I do have some adorable ones of the girls trying on all the hats in the countries at Epcot--from BIG sombreros to the lady Viking helmets complete with blond braids:laughing:!

Here is a comparison of point and shoot cameras shutter lag, wow what a range of delay. http://www.cameras.co.uk/html/shutter-lag-comparisons.cfm

wish my dad had that link when he bought me my current 'point and shoot'. I really dislike this one. Takes forever to snap a picture, and I just can't get the settings correct! TOO many blurry/fuzzy/outof focus pictures... have taken 10 min to try to force the camera to focus on the CORRECT thing. :sad2: Not up to digging it out right now.

Really hoping for a lot of good photo-pass pictures.

I have a pentex point and shoot that is pretty decent. My DH just bought me a D-SLR Sony. I have wanted one forever but wouldn't spend the money on myself. I also have a polariod point and shoot that I hate, but my kids can use with out any problems.

Just found out DS16 band got selected to perform/march before the night parade at MK! Very excited! SO so close! :cool1:
