Just checking in, haven't posted for awhile. Trip is paid off except I had to downgrade the tickets to make it work financially, so I'll have to upgrade those later. Wish there was a YES program during our stay! I am blog illiterate so don't know how to put the questions in to post answers, BUT:

• We've stayed most at AKL
• Dream WDW job would be anything that would let me do magic for guests
• I have never gone solo but totally would, but only to Epcot (family in general does not get my love for this park)
• EMH do not affect our plans at all. If we are going to a park that has them we join!
• Towel animals? Not so much. But love the arranging of the kids' toys & stuff!
• Favorite character meal so far: Akershus with my 3 little girls, VERY magical!

Hmmmm, only 6, guess I missed a few!

The rest of the responses (in no specific order, of course!):

• When I think of Disney I get a picture of the welcome gates & a surge of happy excitement!
• I do make ADR's at the 180 day mark, but don't change them, because I hate second-guessing. Less stress in going for your first response!
• As others have said, the view only matters to me at AKL.
• Favorite souvenir: a really cool stein signed by the artist & personlized with our family name that has Disney characters drawn all over it. We bought it in Germany on our last trip. (the girls already argue about who gets it when we die!)

the "add more" is not useful to me but will do Typhoon Lagoon as a separate ticket

I can think of more least favorite, but for good smells I'll go with the Main Street Bakery

Country Bears - especially the song the girl bear sings! I have forgotten how it goes though and will have to visit it to remember!

50 days to go!

I feel like I should be DOING something...but I am happy with our plans and there isn't much left to do right now.

I have purchased and received the kids' 8-day park hopper passes. I still have to purchase an AP for myself and something for DH. I think right now I'm leaning towards NOT returning to Disney in the Fall for F&W Festival which makes me sad...but I think it's necessary. We are already planning another family weekend trip in the Fall to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg and that won't be too cheap.

Over the long Easter break I ended up starting a project of making little Mickey magnets for our door...both for this trip and the cruise. They are turning out pretty well. I'm recycling some old magnetic calendars and using some construction paper and some Mickey punches I bought on eBay. I'll have to post some photos later.

I suppose this month I may start to put together our travel stuff. Did I mention I finished booking our train reservations? We are now going down in sleeper accomodations and I am trying not to think about the fact that I'm spending so much money on a one-way trip...it's part of the vacation experience. The kids are going to be so excited about it...I hope!

Just stopping by because I woke up to the typical, crazy Utah Spring weather--snow and cold on the valley floor. I know some people think it's crazy to go to Disney in June, but when you're getting pelted in the face by miniature snowballs a week before May, heat and humidity sounds like a dream come true.

Taking your dates off the front page of this thread (Disney 1derland June 2-12 @ Poly) which ironically enough are the same dates I will be there... This is what I found: *they're pretty accurate- only I do the opposite of what they suggest. ie. I GO when they say DON'T GO

Can I join you guys?

We were planning to take a break from WDW and go somewhere else this year, but at the last minute DH said, "With all the money we're planning to spend, we might as well go to WDW." So, here I am planning a trip in less than two months!

We are driving and staying offsite in a condo at Windsor Hills (our second time doing this- we love it). We only have 3 ADRs planned, character meals for the kids. We will be there June 11-18.

You absolutely can join us! We were just saying the same thing last night. We were going to stop in Myrtle Beach on the way home, but my husband said he would rather just stay in Disney an extra day and skip the beach. Well...looks like my natural inclination is to go against their recommendations as well But, I sure hope their predictions are correct, these look like fairly light days compared to what I was thinking and compared to what we experienced the third week of June last year!
