I didn't notice ANY breakfast items listed at all ears...
It's got to be listed SOMEWHERE in the great expanse that it the internet :lmao:

Have a great time on your trip!!! Let us know how it goes!!!

I didnt take a picture of the menu but the choices were the same as most resorts. A bounty platter with eggs, bacon, sausage, taters, pancake, and waffle. A breakfast croissant that you can choose the ingredients, pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, grab and go had danish, bagels, muffins, fruit cups. It was like most other fast serve places. I did walk over poly one morning to get Tonga toast and fresh pineapple.

Another cool thing to add about our room was that you could hear the train whistle, the dog howling, music, and some announcements from our room. It made us feel like we were staying in the MK. I loved hearing the train whistle every morning when I woke up. I noticed alot of neat things about this resort. :goodvibes

It is a great code! So those who are on the fence about staying CL ~ you might want to look into it!
Since I am staying the 10 nights ~ this new code was better for me than the 4/3 deal. :dance3:

During value season the room rate w/code for
Sugar loaf is $338 a night (regular season 393)
RPC = 448 value (503 regular season)

I found out about this code earlier today and hopefully can get it for my July trip!

Good luck Heather. It really is a great deal.
I am a little worried its TOO good of a deal ...
Value season rates
GV room $399
SL (with this code) 338
RPC (with this code) 448

SL is cheaper than staying GV LOL
RPC is only $48 more a night :confused3

I wonder if they are going to cut services. I hope not!

I hope not too! maybe they are having a hard time filling in the club level rooms but not GV?

anyway, I got the code! yay! ours is 500 a night b/c we have 4 adults staying in one room, so 25 extra for each adult each night, but split 4 ways its not bad!

they are offering another code for the non CL rooms.
That code books GV at $318 a night.

This makes SL a whole $20 more a night :rotfl:

I am thinking they most likely are going to cut services on us
to make up the difference

praline3001 - what codes are those?
The Passholder rate quotes I got for late July were:
$303 GV
$594 Deluxe RPC
$424 Sugar Loaf

Every room category was available but those are the only #s I wrote down. Your GV rate is higher than what I got (just a tiny bit) but your SL is much lower :confused3

Wow, nice deal on the CL rooms!

I hope they will repeat promotion for our dates in Dec. I would love to splurge on a RPC room, just not at rack rate.

Just keep checking back. This deal is good up until June 6 so chances are they will add something new on June 7.

Thanks for the tip Praline3001! Are you planning to do another trip report? :thumbsup2

I might ~ at the very least I will have a ton of new photos :lmao:

I am really concerned about them cutting services at club level ~ the more I play with those numbers ..err... the more I think Club level just took a major header to their services offered.

When I was talking to DH about it he said ~ if nothing else we are paying 48 bucks more a night to be in the main building (instead of GV) and will be closer to the monorail ~ and they will still at least throw breakfast at us I am sure :rotfl2:

Here is an example of what they are doing to club level with this code

my 10 night/11 day package for 2 adults, 1 JR and 1 child
with tickets and basic meal plan staying in RPC

Without the code for the same dates this package would cost
10,666.45 (I used the site to book it without code but that is still value season rates)
With the code my package is 7,456.48

That's a savings of 3,209.97

Sounds good right?! HECK YEAH but when you think of that BIG of a difference in cost ~ they are losing money big time on my booking. They have to make this up SOMEWHERE ... so where do they make it up?
Cutting services? That is my concern...

To go even further into this price cut

If I booked GV with NO code for the same dates the cost for the same package would be 7,313.89

using their code for regular rooms the price of GV is
5,931.64

That is a difference of 1,382.25 with the new code

There should be some kind of ratio spend VS save here and there isn't for 10 nights/11 days I am spending only 1524 bucks more to stay RPC than I would GV.

Brook, rack rate RPC is still exorbitant so I doubt there will be any drastic changes.:confused3

That's a nice chunk in savings. Good for you!

Maybe the promotion will increase CL booking to capacity so disney could still come up ahead with the disc therefore benefits wouldn't change.

I agree that its overpriced but we all know how Disney works :lmao:
My only hope is they only offered this rate to VERY few rooms and I just got lucky :cheer2:

Their profit margin goes down 3,209 just from my package ~ the profits will be dropping at that rate for all club level rooms...not just GF to stay afloat those resorts are going to have to cut services somewhere.

I imagine the whole thing is fairly complex. Keeping the resorts full means more money spent on tickets, meals, merchandise, etc..

At any rate, congratulations on the great new rate and thanks for sharing the info with everyone.:goodvibes

That is the other end of the spectrum ~ all of the GV rooms will be empty as the entire resort will be up in RPC :rotfl2:

For my 10 night stay it only cost 1500 more to stay in the main building and get free food and drinks :rotfl:

If someone has GV WITH meal plan ~ they can ditch the meal plan and come out better staying RPC and eating for free :rotfl:

I'm hoping there's no drastic changes in service. We've stayed CL many times over the years, and never paid rack rate.

I do think it's only a percentage of the rooms that are available, so it's not like everyone staying there will get that discount. You just got lucky!:)

One time we stayed at YC CL, and my DH received a fax from work. Somehow, the CMs at the CL desk attached one of their documents to his fax. It was really interesting, so we looked it over...

It showed all the rooms and what people in them were paying for them. We had a great AP rate, there were people with CM rates paying less than $100/nt, and there were people in the room next to us paying over $400!!!!

I think this is common in these hotels. I also think that Disney gets more money if they sell these rooms at a steep discount rather than leaving them empty and then giving people free upgrades...:rolleyes1

So that's why I have some hope that it wont all change (at least by this summer, when I'm hoping to be there as well!)
