RPC it is! Thanks! I like the locaation of Boca Chica, but since we will miss free dining by two weeks, I figure the club costs are worth it! I will call today or tomorrow. My mom loves Narcoossees and I did nto knwo they did a special menu (she loves that kidn of stuff), so I better press on with that too!!
Now, back to work to pay for all this!:rolleyes1

That's what we did! (Or tried to - the doors are so heavy, I think I put a shoe there to keep the door ajar) It's the best... :cloud9: Just talking/reading about it is making me crazy. But I'm gonna have to wait until July at the very least.

We loved having the music filter in at night!! I think I remember using the door latch thing to keep it wide open? Since that room type had a long entry way, it still felt private even with the door wide open!lol It was so nice using the sitting area in the Turret room, listening to the band and enjoying our little desserts from the lounge. Ahhh.. now I wish I was staying RPC next week! Enjoy your July trip!! I miss RPC. :)

Ooh! We'll be RPCing in a couple of weeks. What a lovely way to spend an evening, Misti! We must try it.

Dh and I walked it last week at a leisurely pace going to our Kona ADR. It was about 10 min.

thanks!

oohh we love propping our door open and listening to the music form the lobby! very very magical! we are usualyl getting ready for dinner in the evenings when we do this, its so nice!

Just placed our order last night. They charged us $12 for delivery. Orders over $200 the delivery was free.

Thanks, I know gargen grocer charges a fee but I was wondering if the GF now charges a fee for excepting the delivery. They are doing it for packages shipped to people at the hotel now.

Sorry if I confused anyone.

For those of you who frequent RPC:

I'm trying to decide between a standard RPC room and a deluxe (2 queens) RPC room for August. Both are available for our dates, and the price difference is small.

I know that the deluxe rooms don't have a view of the castle, but I also know that only some of the standard ones do (and I guess that means I can't count on getting one of those rooms).

Any thoughts as to which category is best? I'd love any opinions as I'm really stumped as to which one to book...:confused3

Thanks in advance!:)

Go with the deluxe room for sure!!!
For the extra $5-$10 a night the deluxe rooms are HUGE :yay:
I'm sure you will love the extra space and the nice sofa to sit on :thumbsup2

Thanks for the advice! Can you tell me where these rooms are located and what kind of a view I can expect?

Hi Guys,

I am doing the single digit dance :cool1::banana::yay::cheer2: Only 9 more days until I am at the GF! :woohoo:

The one I saw was angled towards the Polynesian side of the resort. The balcony was kind of curved like a "L". So, that one had more of a wedding pavillion, main pool view. Hopefully someone else can give a clearer answer for you. I'd definitely pick the Deluxe room. I love extra space.

:)

Lucky you! :wizard: Enjoy it!! We are going back on Sunday but staying in a Lodge building this time. I hope you have a great trip! :goodvibes

I agree for 5 dollars a night more, you get way more space!

What a great treat for your mother. Happy planning!:wizard:

Just thought I post a video I found on Youtube of the Resort Monorail going from the Polynesian to the Grand Floridian.

You're both in single digits! Woo hoo!:woohoo:

mmmears, I would choose the deluxe in a heartbeat. Are you going in August and December now? I think you've caught the WDW virus.:flower3:

mmmears, Here is a pic of the RPC rooms that do NOT face the MK. They overlook the Waterfall pool and have views of the Polynesian and Wedding Pavilion.

Their views look like this:

Like the PPs, I would go for the Deluxe room, especially since there are 3 in your party. The Deluxe RPC room, from what I've seen (but I've only stayed in King rooms in RPC) and read, will not have a daybed. The standard RPC room would.
My #1 request would be to be ON the lobby atrium. This is the best :thumbsup2
3d, 4th and 5th floors are all very convenient, especially b/c of stairway from lounge on 4th to CMs on 3d.

Good luck and how exciting to be planning another trip :cheer2:
