NC Beast pulled into our next door's driveway this morning and took a nap for about 20 minutes. He claimed that he thought he was in our driveway.

I am dead meat now.

We still have another 3 weeks left before we go back to school. I have to go in next week though whilst some new interactive whiteboards are being fitted.

I guess I should be going now as I need to make dinner.

I don't think that they saw him. He told a little while ago, it dawn on him that he was in the wrong driveway when he woke up and saw their car in the driveway (it was there the whole night/morning before he pulled up). He was tired this morning-long night on the job and his buddy that used to be his cubicle mate before the layoff rounds in the spring announce his wedding date. His buddy works for another company now. Its is a long soap opera kind of story surrounding that too.

Life with NC Beast can be interesting.

Another busy day ahead. I took the cats to the vets this morning for their flea injections and then came home to carry on painting window frames. Pete is just finishing off installing the glass into the frames and I am waiting for the undercoat to day so I can paint the gloss on. I'm glad we have windows in now as it is raining again.

I'm here. I have just been putting some undercoat on the windows and door in the new room we are building. I need to wait for it to dry now before I can put the top coat on.

It is 55 degrees here , with a high projected to be 60.. BRRR way too cold for August..

I am working from home today. as DH as hernia surgery this afternoon.. made some beefstew in the crock pot since we won't be home until 7 or so tonight..
My Dad is coming over this afternoon to be with the boy and to.drive Eric to football practice at 5:15 . He still is not felling well. I am hoping that he will be well enough to help us out today. IF not, ....

DanaUK is is at least warm and rainy or cold like it is here??

Morning everyone.

Crazy week... Kelley flew out to Nashville Tuesday to drive to Panama City Beach with a friend and her mom for a birthday celebration. My mom called Wed. a.m. and said that Bonnie was headed for Panama City. I called the driving mom and she was in Montgomery and had not seen the weather. So, after some fast phone calls and internet connections, they headed for Gulf Shores, AL, instead. Today I one hour to knock the house into shape for the cleaning ladies, then I'm supposed to take Katie to the water park with a friend... except the high is in the low 70's and I don't know if that's warm enough.

Then I have to pack for a 6-hour drive for a weekend lake trip to TN tomorrow.

Hope everyone is fine and is having a good week. I don't even have time to skim today. For shame, for shame. If there is anything I need to PD to anyone or anything, will someone please PM me until next week?
