Hi everyone! I've finally caught up on all the posts here and WOW I missed alot!

I'm sorry I was gone so long, but it really was hard to come home from work and read the 20+pages new every day. Hopefully I'll be able to start keeping up again...

A little update on our lives. My last missile launch was a few weeks ago and very successful, so now I am getting people trained up at work and getting ready to leave. Last week we had a hard time of it in our work center, as one of my very close friends and co-workers committed suicide, so we have been spending quite a bit of time mourning his loss and celebrating his life. It's been a rough road, but we all seem to be starting to heal a bit...

I have really missed you guys and hope everyone is still hanging around! Brian is so ready to come home from Korea and I'm going nuts here trying to get the house ready for pack up and move out to Italy in 3 weeks!

RRBB, I hope you are doing ok and look forward to you coming back around! OCTOBER DIS MEET DINNER POLL

OK. There's been some clamoring for decisions on October doin's. Don't you guys realize that we are 3 never-get-a-break-from-the-daily-grind Soccer Moms who are going to do as little planning as possible!
We will not be held to any calendar or schedule! We are breaking free!

BUT, we will make sure we get to meet everyone for dinner, so we need to decide where!


This dinner will be on Sunday, October 10, 2004.
Time to be determined based on number attending.


Here are our choices in alphabetical order. Please rate 1-6, with 1 being most desireable and 6 being least. Ratings will be tallied for a final decision.

Hi, I think we should go to EPCOT for Dinner rather than a resort for sheer logistics. It is difficult to go from resort to resort.

I Like the Tepanaki bar at Japan in EPCOT better than Bemihana,

Canada Steak place (although Portifino is also dood.

My personal favorite would be Germany.

Marakesh is good too; I can't eat anything on the menu, but we could go for the show.

Bongos, or even Boma, or Jiko... same thing.

HOB, OK, but I don't think RRBB will be hip to that much smoking. .

There is also a dueling Piano Bar on the booardwalk...

Everywhere at WDW is Family Friendly, There is also the Shrimp boat at DTD too. I am trying to think about places with big tables for big groups...

Like the Tepanaki Grill in Japan the tables seat about 10. Same in Germany. In Germany there are big tables close to one another.....

A little tidbit here, for ohanafamily and RRBB, as well as anyone else on dietary restrictions/limitations. If you go to a Disney restaurant (not HOB, Puck's, you get the idea), you can tell them when you make your PS that you cannot eat the foods on the menu and make a special request. They will typically have no problem fulfilling your order. We have this issue with Brian being a vegetarian and not all WDW restaurants serve veggie meals.
