branv, I'm kind of nervous about the crowds that week, too! I thought we were picking a great time to go, but stuff seems to be really booked around then! I had no idea about the D23 thing until I started searching for events that might have rooms/restaurants booked. Oh well, I'm sure we will have a good time anyway!

clemsondisneyfan, I, too, would LOVE to see photos of your suite! I hope you have a fabulous time!!!

I am nervous as well. I leave when the D23 event starts, but I'm worried that it's going to be crowded during the week. I only chose that week because I got a the 35%/40% off PIN that started on the 8th. Otherwise, I would have gone with the GP code for the week of my birthday which is the week before, but there's a cheerleading competition during the first couple of days we would be there. Oh well. I will have a good time! :)

We will be ordering from garden grocer for this trip. We will be there for 9 days, staying in a studio, and we plan on ordering 2 gallons of milk. Will they both fit, or should we get 4 1/2 gallons, or will those not fit either. I would hate to order it only to have to get rid of it since it won't fit! :) Also, is there a freezer? I would love to freeze juice boxes to take in the parks to keep things cold until they thaw. Thanks!

Here is a picture of what their fridge looks like. Also there is no freezer, instead they have a setting where you can make it colder. However if you make it to cold some items will turn into ice because that once happened to our bottles of water, so that's something to be carefull with.

Here is a photo of a Studio BLT fridge, but it's closed. I couldn't find one open. I assume you could take out a rack and fit the gallon sizes at the bottom. If your milk question isn't definitively answered here, you could try the BLT Rooms and Views thread here:

Would you consider Parmalat, the milk that doesn't require refrigeration for storage? Maybe try it at home before trip? GG has it in quart cartons.

I'm really liking the 1 BR Villa at BLT - very much my style! ;)
& the views of MK are just amazing! :lovestruc

But i also like CL at CR (& at WL & BC) i just CANNOT make my mind up. :confused3

Well the one difference between the Contemporary and Bay Lake Tower is that when staying at the Contemporary Tower you are an elevator ride away from their stores, restaurants, transportation options, bell service, valet service and check-in for both locations happens inside the Contemporary lobby. Anyone staying at Bay Lake Tower needs to use the skybridge from their 5th floor to the 4th floor of the Contemporary for those things I mentioned.

We just returned from our first stay at BLT and loved it!! We had room 7216 which was a standard 2 bdrm but had a great view of the fireworks, and we could see the castle. Looks like in a couple of years after the trees grow a bit, the view won't be as nice.
I loved that they played the Wishes music all over the resort, even by the front door. We sat on the benches one night and watched them from there and had a fantastic view.
My only issue is that it doesn't appear that they finished the bathrooms. I mean no soap dish on the shower wall and no hooks to hang your towels. That was just a minor detail and we loved the place.

Well, that is odd that those essential items never were put in. (I'm going to assume no one stole them:laughing:)

I'm glad you loved your stay at BLT and thanks for posting your comments.

cloudy and rainy day when i took that last picture...when florida had that long/rare rain storm:sad2:

Otherwise, we loved BLT... wished we could of stayed longer. The beds were comfy and I liked the bathroom. The two bedroom was very spacious and had it two balconies:thumbsup2

That's a great view of the marina and Bay Lake. Thank you for posting those. I love your sarcastic comment about the rare rain storm:laughing:

haha There actually was a long rain storm! At the end of march, florida had severe weather with tornado warnings all day long; which is rare. It literally poured /thunder stormed in orlando from 6 in the morning till 11:00 that night. didn't stop once. The same thing happened another day that week but wasn't as bad. We were kinda bummed about that but still had fun!!:goodvibes

Wow that is sure a lot of rain for one day. I remember in August 2008 we were staying at the Contemporary during Tropical Storm Faye and there was a lot of rain for a few days, but sometimes it would start and stop for a while. So we have never experienced anything like you did.

I see, it was March, I heard about those awful tornadoes. We usually go in August when it seems to rain every single day, even w/o a tropical storm:sad2:. It's no fun being wet all day, but you managed to have a good trip anyway. There's always the arcade:).

Did you book a bounceback?

I can't remember if this has been answered already 50 bazillion times.

We prefer a King size bed. I'm pretty sure it has been noted but I will call again to make sure.

Where are the king size bed rooms located? Are they scattered, or will asking for one mean I don't get as good of a floor/location?

Hopefully someone knows the answer to your question. I also hope you do get the King bedding. We had requested it on our 20th Anniversary trip. When we were checking in I asked if our request for a King had been met and was told no. The CM apologized and said "there are very few King rooms, they are very hard to get". :( Having two queens was not ideal, but our stay at CR was about as perfect as could be! WE LOVEDDDD it there and are returning again in June, this time withour two Princesses!

Have a wonderful time!
