Assuming the Magic Kingdom View rooms at Bay Lake Tower are set up like at the Contemporary, I would request an odd numbered room so your beds would face the Magic Kingdom and it can be the first thing you see when you wake up.

So would you suggest asking for the highest floor AND odd number? Thanks so much for your help!:goodvibes April

Yes that's exactly what I am saying to ask for. However hopefully someone will confirm that the odd numbered rooms in Bay Lake Tower will have beds that face the Magic Kingdom. As I said before even though that's the way they are set up in the Contemporary Tower Magic Kingdom View rooms, I don't know if that's what they do at Bay Lake Tower since I have not stayed there before.

It's actually just the opposite at BLT. The odd numbered rooms are on the inner portion of the building, facing the pool. The even numbered rooms are on the outer portion of the building.

Thanks! Good to know! I think I'm just going to request highest floor and leave it alone.:thumbsup2 Thanks! April

The next Disney Trading Night at Walt Disney World will be December 17, 2010, from 6 to 9:00 p.m. at Disney's Contemporary Resort - Fantasia G Ballroom. Guests of all ages are invited to trade pins and more at this free event.

Sail the Seven Seas Lagoon on a voyage that comes alive with boisterous song, swashbuckling tales of adventure, fearsome Never Land pirates and dazzling fireworks off the starboard bow!

Your adventure begins at Disney's Contemporary Resort when you check your meeting location at the Daily Event Board and gather with your sailing party. Before you head out into the moonlit evening, you're presented with a spread of beverages and snacks that include fruit, pastries and other scrumptious confections in a whimsical pirate–themed setting.

Take your young seafarer by the hand and head to the docks, where Captain Hook and the bumbling Mr. Smee are waiting to give everyone a proper send-off, complete with photo opportunities. Then "shove off" onto the glimmering waters of the Seven Seas Lagoon for a journey, the likes of which you won't forget! Experience:

The refreshing humor of your comical pirate host, Patch, who leads you in merry song and high–energy Disney trivia games.
Magic Kingdom Fireworks, enjoyed from a perfect vantage on the water. Watch as the sky over Cinderella Castle lights up in a brilliant fireworks extravaganza, accompanied by music and breathtaking pyrotechnic effects the most elaborate in Magic Kingdom theme park history!
On select nights, the voyage also includes a viewing of the Electrical Water Pageant. Barges festooned in colorful lights that depict Disney characters and American stars and stripes float by in a mesmerizing aquatic parade.
On the return trip, Patch regales you with the story of daring young Peter Pan. Not only is the tale a fitting conclusion to your journey, but a clue that points to one final surprise on the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage.

To everyone's delight, a very special guest waits shore and warmly welcomes you back. If you're celebrating a special occasion such as a family reunion, birthday or anniversary, you get special recognition — topping off a voyage that's nothing short of magical.

Normal operating hours are Friday through Monday, but from June 27, 2010 to July 10, 2010 and November 19, 2010 - January 3, 2011, the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage will sail seven nights a week.

I will be there for that and at least it also gives an excuse to go and visit the Contemporary.

We leave that day so not going to make that one. Doh!

We usually do online check-in, but this is our first stay at CL. Is there any advantage to doing the online check-in for CL stays? I'm guessing not since they take you upstairs to check in regardless.

Well, actually, they may or may not greet you and take you upstairs. However, even if they don't, the bellman can take you directly to CL where you can check-in. Since you shouldn't have a line to stand in at the check-in area downstairs, there's really no reason for CL guests to do online check-in. I never do it, even when we don't stay CL.

Have a great vacation!

In all our Club Level stays since online check-in started we have not used it because each time there was a Cast Member to greet us as we arrived. I also noticed the security Cast Member on a radio and he obviously said we are driving up to the main entrance and gave a description of our car, so that's how the Cast Member knows it's us. Now I am not sure what's done for guests staying Club Level who take Magical Express, so I guess you can tell the Cast Members working at the valet desk you are staying Club Level and they will call someone for you.

I was wondering if shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are in the rooms here and if so is it easy to request extra? Thanks!
