I got the 40% off code for my upcoming Dec stay last December. I saved vacations to the Walt Disny web site under my profile and received the code about a week later. FYI it hasn't worked for other family memebers. The Jan trip I used the general public 40% code at the Wilderness Lodge!

There's certainly no guarantee but the exact same thing has worked for me at both WDW and DLR. I am registered on the website and muck around saving vacation itinerary's under my profile and even chat online with a CM. Each time I have done this looking for a pin code I have gotten one emailed to me within a week or so. Again...there is no guarantee and I have heard of others trying the same thing and not getting anything. I haven't had to try it at WDW the last couple of years because of bounce-back offers in the rooms. Good luck!

We are at Disney at the minute and are considering buying into DVC and buying at Bay Lake Tower . . . can anyone tell me if BLT has a fitness center, or if guests staying there are allowed to use the one at the Contemporary for no charge?

Yes, guests of BLT use the Olympiad Gym at the CR at no charge.

Don't forget it's located on the 3rd floor of the Contemporary Tower and since the stairs/esclator go from the 2nd floor to the 4th floor some people might forget about the 3rd floor, if they don't take the elevators.

Just wanted to say hello...we are booking BLT *finally*...booking it in just a few days! I have never stayed at a monorail resort before. You can see by my signature that I have stayed EVERYWHERE on property except CBR, AS and the 3 monorail resorts.

I am sure I will be a regular on this thread over the next 11 months. I will have a bunch of questions. I am so excited!!! I love booking a WDW trip in advance and having all the time to think about it and plan it! The anticipation is half the fun for me!

Here now and typing on hubbys iPhone. I'll keep it brief. Having a great time! We r checking into cr cl mkv tomorrow and just rcvd email conf from Disney dest for a blv vp suite cl room. If they upgrade us to this room r u able to see mk? This is very exciting for our first time ever cr however, I also really wanted to see castle /hallowishes from room too. This is a one night only. Based on what you said it sounds like they upgraded you to the VP Club Level Suite that with the Bay Lake View.

First off, this trip was to celebrate our 15th anniversary. We wanted to plan something extra special at the end of it, therefore, we chose CR Atrium MKV to do the job. This was our first time ever to stay at CR so we were excited about that, CL, and having a MKV. The day before checkin we received an email stating we were upgraded to BLV Tower VP Suite. We were over the moon even though it appeared we must sacrifice our MKV. Once we arrived the concierge CM verified that we were indeed upgraded. Upon completing checkin we just curiously asked about the MKV...especially since we had been telling the kiddo's for months they would get to stay up watching the castle lights from the balcony. The concierge said there was nothing available and all MKV rooms were gone. I think they upgraded us and sold our room. I'm not sure, but we were super excited regardless.

Secondly, the VP suite was awesome and very spacious, like staying in an apartment or house. There was a foyer, 4 exit doors to hallway, 2 bedrooms, 4 baths, parlor, 5 balconies, 3 refrigerators, and I could just keep going on. And those BEDS...ahhhh so comfy!!! It was wonderful having the best of both worlds; BLV with electric water parade and fireworks from the lounge.

Thirdly, we enjoyed the quiet offerings the Tower Club had to offer. Got to see Hallowishes from the lounge balcony with music piped in...that was cool! Also, CR has the most wonderful staff who make you feel right at home. They kept the lounge freshly stocked and as a matter of fact on the morning of checkout, Paul offered for me to take the rest of the choc croissants home. However, I was done with eating and couldn't bare to look or take another bite of anything! Too bad since he said they were going to throw everything away.

In the end we were truly blessed and thankful. We're def anticipating many more future visits to CR and of course...getting to experience the beloved MKV room!

Thank you! I've actually got more pics, heehee. It wouldn't let me post more so I put what I could. My sil also brought her Nikon and took some amazing shots.

No, we haven't booked our next trip yet, but will soon (my ticker is wrong and reset our trip all over again). This was the best vacation ever. It's going be VERY difficult to top!!

HOoooray just booked our 2nd trip to disney ever and it's at the BLT! We are going June 20 -25 and are looking forward to being so close to the MK and the great restaurants we love. Last time we stayed at AKV and loved it.

DH finally got his vacation approved and I booked CR MK view tower room from Jan 1st - Jan 12th. We have the DxDDP booked again with 10 day hopper passes. We got free dining and paid for the upgrade to deluxe. I had hoped to go the last week of January like we did last year but we are going longer this time

Does anyone know:

Will it be colder than the last week of January?

Where can I find a room service menu?

I just read a negative review about the studios at BLT being too small for a family of four. We are a family of four and just booked a lake view room there. How comfortable is the pullout couch? Also how is the view for the fireworks at the Top of the Tower Lounge there?
