Does anyone know if there will be a highchair in the one bedroom rooms?
I thought I read theis somewhere.

We are not staying in a Concierge Level room though. :)

We are just staying in a one bedroom, on points.

12th floor, room 8220.

It is only true in the tower. Tower rooms begin with 4. BLT and the Garden Wing begin with a different number.

Thus, in the Tower, if you add the first two numbers, you have the floor number.

:moped:

This free Internet for DVC members is a great perk! :thumbsup2

Here is how the room numbers are associated with the floor your on in BLT

If you subtract 70 from the first two digits of the room number, that is the floor the room is on (71XX= first floor, 86XX = sixteenth floor) (note: they did skip the 13th floor!!)

I agree, I loved the free internet too. Even if wasn't wireless, at least it is free.

Hi everyone I am back well not home yet as I am choosing to write my Contemporary and Boardwalk reviews from a Hampton Inn I am staying at in Dalton, Georgia and tomorrow night I am staying in Lima, Ohio before getting home on Friday.

Just like our previous stays this trip was another outstanding stay at the Contemporary. As we drove up to the main entrance Janet was waiting for us and welcomed us home, it was like we had never left. She then went to get our room keys and etc from the online check-in desk because we were told everything was ready and the weird is we had not done online check-in. Anyway this time on the Atrium Club floor we were staying in room #4808 which was right over the Contempo Cafe and close to Chef Mickey's, however there was no issues with any noise coming from there. I was also pleased to see that the Atrium Club lounge has added a fridge to keep all their drinks stocked in until 10:00 PM, plus at 5:00 PM when they put out the Beer it's also left in the fridge until 10:00 PNM. So no more having to ask for it after 7:00 PM like in the past. Besides all of that we had no problems and all the Cast Members we meet there were great.

Theme Parks
I went 3 times to the Magic Kingdom, 2 times to Epcot, 2 times to Hollywood Studios and 1 time to the Animal Kingdom. For most of those days I went when they had AM Extra Magic Hour and that hour sure does pay off for those who take advantage of it.

Restaurants
Besides going 3 times to Earl of Sandwich I also tried two new restaurants for the very 1st time. At the Magic Kingdom myself and 3 of my friends from Orlando went to Tony's Town Sqaure and this past Saturday my family and I went to Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club.

My next vacation to WDW
Finally during our time at WDW we took advantage of a Bounceback offer for December 2010 and once again we will be back at the Boardwalk in a Standard - Club Level room. We tried to get a Club Level rate at the Contemporary but no matter what combination of dates we saw it was sold out. So we took a Tower - Bay Lake View. We then switched to a Garden Suite at the Boardwalk, however after seeing them we didn't really like them and that's how we ended up with their Standard - Club Level room.

I also have 62 pictures to upload from my camera and others from my BlackBerry, so sometime this Friday after unpacking and etc I promise to upload them for you all to see.

Sorry to confuse you....I was commenting on "sherabby's" original post regarding their stay at the "CR". It doesn't apply to the BLT rooms...:)

I know exactly where that Hampton Inn is. My husband works for Shaw Industries located adjacent to that exit and my parents live 20 minutes away. Small World!!!!:goodvibes

Have a safe trip home and I can't wait to see your pictures. DH and I are getting really excited for our first ever stay at the CR 2 weeks from tomorrow (the girls will find out when we get off the DME bus) :cool1:.

We are staying at BLT in 9 days. I know that we check in at the CR, but do we bring our luggage in there to be transported or held until our room is ready? Or do we take it up to the front of BLT after we check in? Can we pull a car up to the front of BLT after we check in?
Please someone lead me through check in at BLT. We are taking MIL this trip and I don't want to look like an idiot.:dance3:

I just added Club Level tip #10 to the 1st page and here it is.

The brand new fridge on the Atrium Club now has cans of Soda in there all day until 10:00 PM and the various bottles of Beer are also in there from 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

You check in at the Contemporary - you can pull up outside the front of the building and bell services will unload your luggage for you. They will then store it or deliver it once you know if your room is ready.

Or you park the car and go check in then move the car over to the BLT lot and unload your luggage yourself - which is what a lot of people staying atBLT seem to do us included. The parking lot is so close to the entrance to BLT it is no problem.

So, I check in tomorrow for my very first CR stay!! I have a couple of last minute questions, I'm sure all well answered but I am brain dead this week.

If I wanted to request a higher floor (MK View) is it too late, and if not who do I call?
We move to the BWV on Sunday, will they move our luggage, or do we just take it with us in the car?

Thanks!!!

Call the WDTC/CRO (or your TA) today and tell them you want to put in a room location request of "high floor." MKV is not a request. I assume you've reserved a MKV room. The CR room assigner assigns rooms about 3 days prior to arrival so it probably is too late, but if you're not happy with your assigned room, simply ask at check-in if a higher floor is available. You may or may not have to wait. When added together, the first two numbers of your room is the floor. You can also fax your request over to them at (407) 824-3539. This is the fax for the Guest Service Manager.

Also, ask that they please note (if they already haven't) that yours is a "continuing reservation." This means you are transferring to another resort during your vacation. Bell Services will pick-up your luggage and arrange to transfer it to BWV. However, it may take several hours. On check-out day, just call Bell Services and tell them to deliver your luggage to BWV.

Oh, and have a great vacation!

I took these photos because people often ask about storage in the CR rooms.

Thank you! Yes, I have the MK Tower reserved, just wanted to get a higher room, but I have been too darn busy to call anyone about it.

Will we have to take the luggage to Bell Services or can we leave it in the room? We will be rushing out the door to get to a park, and if its' quicker we can just take it with us. 10 years ago we had them move our stuff from ASMo to BC, and we just left it in the room as ASMo.

Should I note the continuos reservation on the fax I send down?

Thanks a bunch!!! Very excited for my first stay at CR!
