Just wondering I am trying to make a ADR at Akersaus in Epcot for the morning. It I get and 8ish ADR should I take a cab to Epcot coming from CR? What time do you think I would have to leave the CR to get to Epcot ontime?

Hi Everyone-Just thought I would pop in for a quick review of our trip in April. Sorry this took so long. I have been playing catch-up since I got back.
Since we are trying to take 3 trips this year, and we need two rooms, we decided to stay in the Gardenwing Gardenview on this trip. Check in was quick as always. Loved being greeted by Judy!!! She is amazing. So nice and always remembers us. We were in rooms 5148/5149. First floor down at the end of the hallway. At first, we were not thrilled with this location, but learned that it had it's positives also!!! When we walked into the rooms, I noticed they were not as "sparkling" as we are used to. One of the rooms was missing a hairdryer. After the first day, we noticed that the mousekeeper barely made the beds (very sloppily) and missed a lot of regular things. The next morning I spoke with the mkeeper for that day (and gave her a nice tip) and mentioned that we needed a hairdryer, and if she could pay special attention to the rooms. After that, everything was great!! Regarding the location of the room..in the mornings it was beautiful with the fog rising over the water, the sun rising, and the boats. In the evening we had a wonderful view of the EWP. Walking to the tower was a little trek, but we got used to it quickly. We also moved our car over to the gardenwing parking area, which is EXTREMELY close to the double door entry way. As usual, the Contempo Cafe had great service and food. Our dinner at Chef Mickeys was probably one of the best ones we have had at that restaurant - even though Donald forgot to stop at our table. All-in-all, we had another FABULOUS trip and look forward to staying there again.
Thanks for posting your review.

Well the Resort Monorail from the Contemporary starts at 7:00 AM and the TTC is the next stop after leaving from there. However I believe the Epcot Monorail doesn't start until 7:30 AM, so hopefully someone can confirm that. Now if you were to take a taxi for an 8:00 AM ADR I would leave the Contemporary at 7:15 AM because it takes about 10 minutes driving from the Contemporary to Epcot, so this should give you time to wait for it to open.

The last week of January we had an 8:05am ADR at the Princess Breakfast. We took a cab ($20) at 7:45am. We arrived and there were no bag check lines and about 10 groups ahead of us. We only waited a couple of minutes. CM started checking groups off her list at 7:55am. We walked straight there and arrived at 8:05am. We checked in and waited acouple of minutes. Then we were the first family seated. Belle met us at the door and took DD5 by the hand and walked her over for the picture. It was wonderful, she was super friendly and really made DD5 feel special. Unfortunately when Belle asked DD5 who her favourite princess was... DD5 said "Sleeping Beauty, that's why I wore this shirt my Nanny bought me" Luckily Belle Belle did not seem offended :) Each time a princess asked who was DD5 favourite princess, she gave a different answer and it was never the "rght" one :lmao:

Hi everyone :)

I just switched my reservation from AKL to the Contemporary this morning, and booked an Atrium Club MK View Room.

I haven't received my e-mail confirmation yet, but when I check the reservation on the WDW website, it's states next to the CR's photo - Room Type: 2 Bedroom Villa

Is this normal? I know there aren't any 2 bed villas in CR!

For whatever reason the WDW website seems to be messed up when it comes to that view, because when my family and I had that reservation it also said we had a 2 Bedroom Villa. However our confirmation which got e-mailed to us said it was for the Atrium Club - Magic Kingdom View, plus to be extra sure that's what a Cast Member said when I called WDW to be sure. Finally other people have mentioned this was well so your not the only one and your reservation is for the Atrium Club - Magic Kingdom View.

FWIW, I have that same view and it comes up the exact same way. IPO told me they show Atrium CLub MKV, so I'm good! WHen will you be there?

Thanks! We will be there 8/26 - 8/30 :)

Looking forward to seeing your photos if you post any on your return!

I'll try to take photos, I admit, we've become a bit jaded after all our visits, but I'll try to remember to get photos since I booked TPV!

Congrats. If you see a 40-ish woman with a red backpack and a LGMH hanging from it, that's me!! Say hello.
