Before my family and I switched to the 4/3 deal in August 2009 we originally had a Atrium Club - Magic Kingdom View room only reservation and when I went to look it up online it also said we reserved a 2 Bedroom Villa. However our e-mailed confirmation was correct and just to be sure I called CRO and they told me the same thing, so you don't have to worry because myself and others also noticed this mistake which WDW has not fixed yet.

Thanks for the quick response! I mean, that's a lovely upgrade but if it's not what you really want, you know? I actually think that we would be missing CL and the tpv (first time we'll be guaranteed that) . Plus, I'd hate to have that much spac as a family of four knowing that there were a lot of families of five out there that would have gotten better use of the upgrade .

You're welcome and I am not sure if they sent you an e-mailed confirmation of your reservation, but when do you see it that should say the correct room information.

Also the Contemporary does have a 2 Bedroom Suite that is on the Tower Club 14th floor which is their other Club Level floor, however it's not listed as a 2 Bedroom Villa which we only know are at Bay Lake Tower. However I am willing to bet your online confirmation lists the Contemporary as location your staying at, so there is no way they can have a 2 Bedroom Villa because they don't have any of those rooms.

that's what's odd, in all of my past changes to this reservation my email has arrived super quick, this one still hasn't showed up 9 hours later.....

However there have been other times when it took 1 day or more for them to arrive, so we had to call a few times before they finally showed up. For our upcoming Bounceback reservation which is for this August after it was made the Cast Member on the phone confirmed our e-mail, however we never got it. We call them back the next day and they said it would be sent out right away, however once again we never got it. Then a few days later we try calling the number for CRO and around 30 minutes to an hour later we finally got it e-mailed.

We are going to be staying at the Contemporary after our cruise in July. We decided to book the CL Bay Lake view again. We choose this view because we like the peacefulness of the lake and we like to see the pool. We watch the fireworks from the CL lounge balcony, anyway. Can't wait!

I've had that samething happen. Also, this time I've yet to receive anything in the mail from them other than the little envelope with the new brouchure with general CR info.

Well last year after we paid off our reservation for the 4/3 deal, I would say about a week later we got our Disney luggage tags and documents in the mail.

We are doing a CL Bay Lake view in July too - we will be there July 1-6.

We won't be there until the 18th. But you are lucky, I would LOVE to be there over the 4th of July!

I called today and changed our room only std atrium club to a myw package and was able to upgrade to theme park view for $50 more per night. Paid everything in full since I'm within the 45 days now. Here's where things get strange... I went on the website and looekd up my new reservation number, things are looking good, till I get to room catagory and it says .....2 bedroom villa! WTH? I called and the guest services rep confirms my tpv cl. Which should I believe? I mean, we really want tower but if I do have the villa, that's a heck of an upgrade.

We made the same ressie as you and our reservation says the same thing. We got two e-mails every time I made a payment and they always said atrium club level MK view, so I figure we are getting what we've paid for.

I found it takes around 10 minutes.

I was under the impression that atrium club rooms were luck of the draw as far as view was concerned. There was only one category and you either got a Magic Kingdom view or a Bay Lake view. I guess that you can choose ahead of time the view that you'd like?

Back on Janurary 1, 2009 you now had to make a reservation for either the Atrium Club - Magic Kingdom View or Atrium Club - Bay Lake View, so no more having to request the Magic Kingdom View if that's something you wanted.

I saw on AllEars that Magic Kingdom view Atrium Club level rooms cost more, so I think you should be able to book the view you want. We personally love the Magic Kingdom view. There is nothing like watching Wishes from your own balcony.

Well yes that is the one downside to it, however it only makes sense because the regular Magic Kingdom View costs more on the other floors. Although I can see the other side where the Club Level rooms cost more in general, so they should have left the rates the same for both views and you still got to pick the one you want.

Business wise it's logical to bump up the cost of a room with a different view. Especially if you can choose which view you want.

We're going to be staying in the garden wing. Is there any way to request a room that's as close to the main bldg. as possible? Does anyone know the room #'s that are close to the main bldg.? TIA!
