I want to put in a word of caution here. Please be very careful with cutting out all your carbs! Dr. Atkins was insistent that everybody get 20 carbs a day during Induction in the form of salad and other veggies. After Induction, during OWL, he said to slowly raise up the amount of carbs you are eating, in the form of healthy foods (veggies, nuts, fruit, etc) but still eat a low enough amount of carbs to lose weight.
If you cut out carbs completely, you may experience some side effects, including but not limited to: headaches, sluggishness, constipation, and worse of all - it could put you in a stall because your body just won't know what to do!
Alex - I'm not trying to talk people out of accepting your challenge - I just want people to know that carbs (healthy ones) are an important part of this diet. People need to know that they should eat veggies and other healthy carbs to keep losing weight. I'm sure a week won't kill anybody - but it wouldn't be good long-term.
We've worked long and hard over the last few years to give Atkins a good name. I wouldn't want people to read this challenge and go out & tell everybody that the Atkins diet means that you can't have any carbs.
Oh - and I agree with you about the Atkins bars and other "legal" treats. When I've had them I've stopped losing. You're right about needing to stick to the original diet, keep the carbs healthy. Stay away from the SF chocolate as much as you can, and you'll notice a difference!
Just MHO.....
