I read Spirit Bound in one sitting (a freind of mine works for teh publisher and i got the book last week). The 6th and final one comes out in Nov or Dec. I am going to miss this series.

I read Water for Elephants a couple of years ago. It is awesome. We listened to it on the way to St. Louis and back a two months ago and it was still awesome. I have to admit, I was a little put out when they cast Rob as Jacob....my jury is still out, I hope he can pull it off.

I picked up Alex Flinn's (Beastly) new book A Kiss in Time, this one is based on Sleeping Beauty. We'll see how it is...

has anyone read the Georgina Kincaid books by Richelle Mead? I'm thinking of starting them but since it's a long series i want some feedback before i invest.

I read the first one and really liked it. I'm going to get the next one during my next purchase with Amazon or Barnes and Noble (I have gift cards for both stores). It was more adult than VA but I've heard that there is heartfail midway during this series too. I'm almost tempted to wait to read the rest until they are all done (which is soon I think) as I don't think I could take anymore waiting like I'm doing with VA.

I just bought The latest instalment of the Lords Of The Underworld books, The Darkest Passion. Can't wait to read it!

ok, i'll read the new vampire academy book.. and the georgina ones too... i need vacation reading. my kindle is going to get a heck of a work out.
i doubt i'll but the underworld book as i wasn't too thrilled with the rest of them.
i'll definately read infinity as i've read that entire series and enjoyed it.

LOVED Spirit Bound. Someone mentioned wanting Rose with Adrian and i do! i just LOVE Adrian and she is so good for him! I think the 6 months we have to wait for the next one is too long! I know we have always been seeing things from rose's perspective but would love to see things from Lissa's POV. Also, there are so many things to wrap up. Hope they can do it!

mel, mel, mel... come to the adult side and read the black dagger brotherhood... trust me... if you want i'll even mail mine to you to borrow once i get the first one back from my co-worker who's reading it... OR, go buy a kindle and i'll email them to you.

Oh gosh....The Black Dagger Brotherhood books are incredible!! I bought the 6-book set on Amazon and read through them so fast....just finished Lover Mine and I did not want it to end!! They are alot more risque than most books I have read, but boy are they satisfying

Are there any other books/series out there that compare to BDB??

On another note I also loved Spirit Bound and the rest of the Vampire Academy books...I didn't realize the next book will be the last

So irritated. Rose is such a selfish b*tch. She's running around getting innocent people killed and calling in favors of her friends that could cost them their career and/or LIFE?! Without giving a spoiler let's just say that after a certain unlikely incident involving prison she says she's so sorry but she had no idea it would turn out like that... she confides in her friend that she wouldn't have done it if she had known how it would turn out....cough********cough! Give me a break. She knew exactly what she was doing and she was willing to use and sacrifice anybody as a means to her end. There were many innocent people killed the first time, the SECOND TIME and the THIRD time she acted in such a selfish manner. How many times are we going to forgive this pompous ho? Lame.


Yea, so I'm finished now... she still really irritates me. I don't like Rose at all. None... selfish brat. I'm glad the next book is the last.

I feel really sorry for all of Rose's friends. She's a talented fighter and really... that's about it.

On another note: Started BDB Book 1 (again) last night. Hanging in there!

eta, i also bought the bree book on Saturday right before we left for port. i read it within one day and really enjoyed it. in the begining i thought bree was an annoying teenager, but then i started to like her and at the end i loved her. i'm glad i bought it, now i have to download it too.
