I REALLY wish I could have seen all the hundred acre woods friends in their Halloween costumes...I bet that was adorable!

However, it wasn't meant to be...sadly, my DH was given his 2 week notice at work ... so until we know what's happening with his job, WDW will have to wait...this economy sucks!

I'm so sorry to hear that!! Warm hugs coming your way!! It is a very tough economy right now, and DH and I worry about his job all the time. He was almost laid off 3 years ago and we were at the airport flying up to VA to go on a househunting trip for a possible new job when his company called and asked him to stay. We were very lucky that time, but it could happen again any day.

What's funny is that it took me several trips before I had the courage to really go in here. Our timing was always off and it was always kind of dead ... then one time we hit it just right and they were doing a floor show and Wow!! we had so much fun, I didn't want to leave. But DH wanted to go dance and hang out in Mannequins (which I also love -- but obviously, totally different!).

That's what I miss about PI -- the variety of clubs...my stops were (not in order):

Mannequins
70s Club
Adventurer's Club
Comedy Club
Beach Club
West End Stage (I was so sad when we went on the last trip and saw this was gone...now I understand why they did it...)

I loved staying at each one for a while and then moving on to the next.

However, now with kid(s), it's obviously harder to get out, so I think we'll use the restaurants/shops more than we would have PI.

Remember when there were fireworks every night? It was a great night of
fun to go from place to place, and I always enjoyed the different themes and

Yep, I loved the fireworks...and the live DJ in the booth and the small stage across from the DJ ... with crowds on the street having fun and laughing and dancing. Ah, those were the "good old days!"

I went in this morning for my cervical exam (everything good!) and asked if they can see sex of baby (I'm 15 wks, 3 days) and they could!!

Thanks guys!! As any parent says -- all I want is healthy....but I will say I am very happy she is a girl -- just so much easier in so many ways. DH was a bit sad at first b/c he was hoping for a boy ... but said he is really happy and at least we'll know what to do!
