I'm trying to figure out a way to squeeze a trip in for the free dining in November. I'd love to get away just with Jeff, but I'd also love to take Bobbie for her first trip!

I woke up this morning to a sign my 10 year old daughter wrote.....only 84 more days until Disney!!!

I LOVED started the day that way!!

I keep telling my family that we are going to actually meet someone from "the board."

I don't know where to start as far as the WDW trip goes! Let me just start off by saying "WOW!" There were so many firsts and great moments I'm kind at a loss for words. I'm debating on whether or not to do a TR so as to not take up the space here at the Adventurosity Club. I'm still going thru over 1200 pics and almost 100 Photopass pics. In the mean time, let me tease you with a pic of the view we had from our balcony. It's not the best pic, but I think you can tell what it is. ENJOY!!!

Hey Mrs. Fleagle and Cirgusgirl - we are still having mixed feelings about the new addition...I like Sam, and Bailey still does not. Oh, well, I'm not even sure if my sister has forgiven ME for taking her spot as baby of the family! So I guess Bailey deserves a little more adjustment time!

Ok, so, of course, my like-minded-Disney-obsessed-friends will know this already....but just in case.....

For 2009 you get a free ticket to the park of your choice on your birthday.

We will be there on my daughter's 11th birthday. So I thought that this wouldn't mean much to us since we already have our package and we are buying 10 day passes.

WELL, much to my delight, they have thought of people like me who have multiday passes (and others lucky enough to have annual passes) and are offering a gift card for the amount of a one-day ticket that must be used on your birthday or a Fast Pass for the day for up to 5 people in your group (there are only four of us so wanna ride with us Suz?? )!

Her birthday is January 2nd -- and we will be arriving late December 26th.....so we have the opportunity to get "Dreamed" in 2008 and we get to celebrate 2009's promotion too!

My extremely-non-Disney-obsessed husband said, "since this trip is so much money anyway, let's just do the fast passes and let her enjoy that!" So a teeny tiny glimmer of Disney magic from my man ...... very teeny ....but I will take anything at this point!

Sooooooo much fun planning a trip!!! Wish you all were coming along! REALLY!!!

I knew about the birthday....and was seriously considering seeing if that would make any difference for us since we usually go in January on Forrest and my birthdays the 27th and 30th. But, I don't think it saves us enough.....
I am so excited that so many of our disboard friends are going. What fun!

Do you have passes to Kings Dominion? Don't know if I mentioned this before, but we had regular passes to Carowinds and they upgraded us to Platinum passes.

We are trying to plan a trip to KD before the season ends because I simply cannot afford the passes again next year (Disney has wiped us out and then some).

Fingers crossed hoping you go there!!!!

And do you happen to know at night, during Halloween hours, do you get chased by the ghouls? Are they allowed to touch you? I get very creeped out by that.....maybe they are only in certain parts of the park?

We don't have passes to KD, but we used to call in favors from our old department heads and get some comps. However, I don't think they're still there. If you guys go one day then let us know though and we'll see if we can go too. We'll actually be in Richmond this weekend Friday night - Sunday for a soccer tournament. Not enough time to throw in a KD trip though.

Busch Gardens has always done the Hallowscream and ghouls did walk up to and behind you. They stopped a year or two ago because it was too scary for some. I'm not really sure how KD does it. I actually just heard recently that they do a Halloween event. Now I'm just waiting for them to do a Winterfest like their sister park King's Island in Cincinnati. That would be awesome!
