The Adventurosity Club

Since we put two healthy embryos back in, I'd be sad if one of them didn't make it. So I'm hoping they both survived. I figure God gave us two at the start and I'm hoping they will continue...after my last ectopic pregnancy, I'm a bit sensitive about losing a baby again. But only God knows (right now) whether we could handle one, both ... I do believe He'll give us what we are supposed to have.

I hear 'ya! (And, that sounds like a very healthy perspective on your part!)

I'll pray that God gives you what's best for your family! ::yes::

Doc said all the measurement/numbers (sac, baby, heartbeat) are strong and healthy! :woohoo:

There is no evidence of an ectopic pregnancy for the 2nd baby...my body just absorbed him/her -- sad he/she didn't make it but glad he/she went out peaceably.

I'm very thrilled!!

I noticed in your linked thread that folks already are guessing the baby's sex. I'm 'gonna vote for Pirate! pirate:

I really like the Hoop-Dee-Doo. My DH says he can take it or leave it. But I just love all the corny jokes, stomping feet, clapping and the food is good too. It's just a good night of fun and food.

Oh, and "HERE"....

Anyone??

I'm late but I'm officially "HERE!" :rotfl:

but you can't have one right now ;) for good reason! :goodvibes

swwake and madbrad -- I'm so happy for you guys!! I think the days leading up to your trip are so much fun and so hectic!! All that excitement!! And the best feeling is to be sitting on the plane (or in the car for those that drive) and knowing you will soon be there.

Take me with ... please???:rotfl2:

It really seems as if that Magical Day will be here any moment! The official 45 day mark is Aug. 6. :cool1:

I would take everyone of the DIS-nee Family along with me if I could. If we're still moving along on our Road Trip, maybe Cat will let me use her cat-o-timer and we can use it to "skip-across" to WDW for a "surprise" or two! :woohoo:

Hi all! Sorry for the long absence, but I have lurked and kept up. There were so many stories of bad luck several weeks ago, I got kind of scared, but I have caught up with y'all in the bad luck department.

My story about Elizabeth, my 41 year old daughter who was in Disneyland all week with eight other people, has a happy ending.

Elizabeth had a lump on her right side below her ribs and she threw a bad score on liver function. When the CT came back weird, they did a biopsy and discovered a five pound 8 inch long malignant tumor growing in her liver. Two more days at Univ Washington in Seattle scared the you know what out of all of us!! Tuesday last the U called, said she has 26% of her liver left so that they can do surgery to remove the cancerous portion of her liver in a six hour surgery July 31st. She is so lucky- the tumor is encapsulated, but there is no explanation for it. There is usually chirrosis (sp) or hepatitis in a diagnosis of PRIMARY liver cancer, but not in her case. Primary liver cancer starts in the liver. Liver cancer usually is spread to the liver from another organ.

Appreciate your thoughts on Thursday the 31st. Love and miss you. Dav-odd

Very scary! Please don't pray for me or Elizabeth - please pray for the surgeons! Remember E is my only child and her daughters (the ones in my video) are 10 and 12 now.

'Just wanted to let you know that your DISboard friends are thinking of you and your daughter today and praying for a successful surgery.

Please keep us posted.

I echo DISgeeks -
It's early morning here in Seattle - all best love and thoughts to David and his family.

Wow, I've been away from this thread for way too long . . .

CONGRATULATIONS, MARSHAY! That is wonderful news!

David - I add my thoughts and prayers to those of everyone else who has posted here. I hope all is well with your family and I'm certainly thinking of you!

It is wonderful to come on here and read of how supportive and friendly everyone here still is. What an amazing group of people you are! Thanks for being you and for all the support you've shown me and each other.

I finally finished updating the "Chat with the Chief Magic Official" thread with the details from the Disneyland trip in June. For some reason I still can't figure out how to link to it here, but I'd love it if you all could check it out sometime!

Take care! Hopefully I'll be back soon!
