Thanks Everyone for the B-Day Wishes...I must say that 40 is Fabulous; I don't feel a day over 25!

Andy...Sent you a PM a while ago; just wanted to know if you got it.

Bethipooh: Congrats on finding the scrapple. I like it, but haven't had any in years. Do you like yours thin & crispy or thick and mushy? I like mine in-between. May have to buy some tomorrow...if WonderBoy likes snails then he'll LOVE Scrapple!

If it was the PM about receiving the magnets, yes I got that one!!! ;)

BTW, I like my scrapple cripsy on the outside and mushy on the inside, now I'm getting hungry for some scrapple as well, LOL!!! :lmao:

Yep, that is the only way to have it!!!!

So much for the diet this month. :rotfl:

O.K., O.K.....I know that I really need to wrap this up. At this rate it'll be time to cruise again before I ever finish this report.

Wednesday morning we are in Cozamel way too early and had to be @ Rocking Bar D at 8:30 for our excursion on The Fury Catamaran. Getting WonderBoy there was no small feat! We didn't even have time to eat. Once we tendered to Cozamel, we were then ready to get on the Fury Catamaran. This excursion promised snorkeling, a beach party and soft drinks, beer and magaritas on board. COOL.... :cool1: Our tour guide, I don't remember his name, was very entertaining and gave us all the information we needed to have a great time, Including how to back down the ladder that leads to the rest rooms. He also introduced the rest of the crew including "El Capitain", who steered the catamarn w/his feet. Wonderboy and I are both somewhat out of it from hanging out late the night before and just generally over fatigued from too much sun & fun, and not enough sleep. But we would never admit it. Once the catamaran got to the location (about 30 minutes out) where we would be snorkeling, I remembered something very important: I did not want to swim, snorkel or even get wet at this time of day; not to mention on an empty stomach. But of course by now, DS is looking forward to it, but I can't send my 8 y/o out into 25 feet of water by himself, ..or can I? As everyone is else getting their flippers & life vests on, I'm really thinking Oh No Way am I doing this. I go up to the guide who was in charge and ask if one of the crew members would take WonderBoy out for me. I was so relieved when he said "Of course" and that was when Wilfredo & DS became acquainted. He took WonderBoy all around the area, instructed him how to breath through the tube and where to look for fish. I watched from the side and waved as my WonderBoy bobbed happily beside Wilfredo, after having learned a new skill. When the snokeling was over the two of them returned to the boat. I gave the guide a "nice" tip; extremely grateful that I did not have to go out of my comfort zone.
After the snokeling, we were taken to a beach, where we were able to swim, cayak and use floats. There was also horseback riding and jet skiing available at an additional cost. In true WonderBoy form, DS met another friend from Saint Louis and the two of them spent the time swimming and playing in the sand. I had a beer or two on the beach and chatted w/some others who were sitting at the tables under the beach umbrellas. We returned to the catamaran where we were served more drinks and enjoyed singing/dancing to great party music. This was a tour I would have enjoyed more if my sleepy travelmates had joined us, but all in all, when WonderBoy has a good time, then so do I. We also purchased a great pic of him with his snorkel gear on in the water. Famished as we were, we returned to the ship for a quick lunch at Topsiders and then returned to Cozamel to do some sightseeing & shopping. WonderBoy was excited to purchase a silver ring customized with his name on it in one of the shops. We then had to hurry back to the ship to get ready for...PIRATE NIGHT!!! pirate:

Tonight is Pirate Night...,and we (or at least I am) are exhausted from our day in Cozumel. We didn't reboard the ship until about 4:45 and needed to be ready for dinner & "Piratey" by 6pm. Now, we both enjoy dressing up, but I really hadn't prepared anything for my self. WonderBoy was ready: He wore denim shorts and a black t-shirt w/ red/white/black pirate vest, I ordered on-line and had packed just for tonight, complete w/eye patch, earring, hook for his arm & inflatable parrot (that we still have not inflated). Guess what WonderBoy is going as for Halloween this year?! pirate: Once he was ready, he looked so cute!, I was still in my "cruise casual" that I had had on all day, so I walked him down to the dining room, tied on his bandana to complete his look and told him that I would be back once I changed. He was perfectly fine eating w/the rest of our group, especially since he hadn't seen his friends all day. I quickly showered and changed into what was supposed to be my semi-formal outfit; a black halter top and dressy gauchos w/heals because it was hanging right there in the closet and I said to myself, once I add the bandana, I too will be a pirate, an urban pirate, but a pirate all the same. Once I made it to dinner, what do I see? WonderBoy was being "attacked" by my DF's two boys who had been accesorized w/swords then allowed to bring said swords to the dinner table. :furious: Now don't get me wrong, as by now you surely know that I am a fun, Disney lovin' SSM...BUT...I am also very "old school" when it comes to discipling children , manners, being respectful and the like. I could not believe that DF and her DH had allowed their boys to bring the "weapons" to the table. WonderBoy had requested a sword as well and I had promised to get him one AFTER dinner. As DS sat in the middle w/each of the boys on either side of him, they took turns attempting to poke and prode WonderBoy as if he was Davey Jones himself! The 5 y/o nearly poked his eye out! Since it was obvious, that their parents weren't going to stop their behavior, I told DS to get up and move from in between the boys and to sit next to me. Finally after I said something, DF's DH made the kids put the toys away! Tell me dear readers, Did I over react?? At this point, the 5 y/o decided he would throw a tantrum and fell out in the middle of the 2 tables our party shared. Poor Toney, our server, had to step over him several tiimes, before the parents intervened! Although I happen to enjoy the Pirate's Night menu, I was certainly glad when that meal was over. DS & I then headed to Mickey's Mates, where he got a sword and I got the Michey Ears w/the red/white pirate banadana. We took the cutest photo ever w/the white background and our red/black & white pirate attire. (Im still trying to download those here!)..Next Post: 2:00 am & still No Pirate WonderBoy!

You certainly did not overreact! I would have been furious as well. It amazes me how much some parents let their kids get away with, without consequence. :confused3

I can't wait to see your pics.

Please post the photos! Grandma, here, doesn't think you over reacted one bit!
