I am going with A) since you said you will go back to readjust. I am confident that you will be able to eat at Flying Fish. They closed in February - how long can it take to refurbish a restaurant????

Ok, noted!

And yeah, seriously! It's been closed since February; how long can it possibly take to put in some new flooring and redesign the kitchen and put in some new furniture?! Maybe the Chef (who's staying the same) needed a very long vacation?

As to times: All times will be the exact times you requested with the exception of BOG which will be 11:45am.

Noted.

You also called Brook to add Boma (so happy that she can do this for you - having a travel agent does come in handy sometimes!!).

Noted!

DSC09343.jpg

Yes, that counts! Very creative! I love how the 2 princesses are there too. :)

And this one has four Ds: Donald Duck and Daisy Duck (oh - and I am covering the Mickey that was on my t-shirt as Donald otherwise refused to be in the picture...).

Creative use of Double D. And hilarious about Donald's opinionated reaction!

1) Do we get all of the places I want including FF? Pick a letter. 10 points (There IS a chance it could soft open and she can swing an ADR at a later time- in which case I'll go back and revise your score. (Makes this interesting don't it?!)

2) NOW, go back and guess times for each one that you think we get on Wednesday or (ONLY in case of FF) later. 5 pointys given for EXACT answers.

3) Did I call for a Boma? 5 points

4) Add a photo... (we'll see who's really reading this.) 5 points

2)Raglan Road 6:00
Coral Reef 6:00
Flying Fish - no ADR

Basically... I think the ADRs you want will be available at your window, so I think you'll be able to get the times you want.

3) Um... sure

4) You've seen my dragon already.

Poor Timmy has borne the brunt of this for a long time. Much to our amusement.
::yes:: ::yes::

I mean.... Food and Wine, BABY!!! Who needs ADRs when NATW is at hand?! (Noshing Around the World)

Oh! Good point!
I never think of that.

Double Shoot!

You're there on the 19th, right?
hmmm....

OH that does sucketh. A crapton of wasted time for sure!

No kidding.
Last time we got there even before the check in desk was open.
Why? What's the point?

Nicely done- a double whammy!

Unless you consider it was DD Drumming a Disney Drum in Disneyworld.

Playing catch up again!

I think you have some great ADR choices. I can't believe I'm missing you by a week...I would have loved to do V&A with you!

So sorry to hear about your DH's aunt. Cancer sucks!

It'd take some doing to resurrect it. And since he's not around the feel the burn, I'll save my time. ;)

Oh! Good point!
I never think of that.

Once in awhile, I even amaze myself. Like tonight as I make lasagna.

You're there on the 19th, right?
hmmm....

Tease. (yes) :goes to handy-dandy, mucho amazing spreadsheets: (I'd show them to you, but they already have all my drink and snack picks, and then I'd blow a lot of the rest of my PTR, which would suck for me and everyone else.)

Let's see here.... Yep, that's our last park day. EPCOT in the AM; MK in the PM with no ADRs. My PM box is always open should you care to surprisey-like grace us with your presence. If not, you've got my number and can hit us up once you're there.

No kidding.
Last time we got there even before the check in desk was open.
Why? What's the point?

That's a travesty. You should be compensated for wasted vacation time. Although, it may be their way of slapping you square in the face with, "YOUR VACATION IS NOW OVER. KEEP YOUR TEARS AND YOUR GNASHING TEETH INSIDE THAT FACE AT ALL TIMES."

Unless you consider it was DD Drumming a Disney Drum in Disneyworld.

Smooth operating there, Sir.

HI JILL!!!

I know... Only one stinking week. I will dine solo if it comes to that, but will definitely love to find people who love a phenomenal meal like I do too. Either way, I'll be a happy camper. :)

Hmmm.... PM coming shortly.

That I cannot do.
I don't have a phone that works in foreign countries.

They call me Mr. Smooth.

No. Wait. That's Mr. Smoothy because I like drinking them.
So nevermind.

Sorry to hear about Mike's Aunt! :sad1: It is always tough to let go of the wonderful people who have had that positive influence in our lives!!!

Now to the contest:

With Brook on the job, I’ll give your ADR booking a score of: A

Raglan Road – 6:00

Coral Reef – 5:45 (although a chance to NATW probably wins out in the end)

Flying Fish – 6:30 (or whatever restaurant you replace it with if it won’t be open)

The Edison – 1:15

Via Napoli – 6:30

Sanaa – 12:30

BOG – 1:20

Artist Point – 7:00

I say NO on the Boma Buffet………..might make for a stressful and rushed morning with the kids trying to get everything together for their Magical Depress excursion, not to mention the difficult - A River of Derchees.

And of course............drinks!!! (minus the little :umbrella: ) :thumbsup2

Good one?
i.e. Got a good recipe?

For all to behold:

Brown 1 lb of ground beef and 1 lb of Sweet Italian Sausage together in huge pot.
Add a great big sweet onion chopped up, a diced bell pepper and a package of sliced shrooms, and a bunch of chopped garlic.
Simmer until veggies are soft.

Add 1 can of tomato sauce (20 oz?), a couple T of tomato paste, a can of diced Italian style tomatoes and a jar of any kind of Ragu. (Don't judge, trust me, it saves time and tastes great!). Stir, then simmer for at least an hour on low.

Season with 1 T salt, pepper to taste, a bunch of Italian herbs, 3 T sugar, 1 t red flakes (more or less to taste), a big dash of red wine.

In a separate bowl, mix up a big container of Ricotta cheese, 2 eggs, and a big handful of fresh chopped parsley.

Heat your oven to 350 deg. While it's preheating layer your 'zanya.

In a 9x13 baking dish, put a layer of sauce down. Add a layer of uncooked noodles, then another layer of sauce. Next the ricotta mixture, spreading it out as best you can. It's a little tricky, but you can do it! I have faith in your mad cooking skilz! Now a layer of sliced mozzarella (don't skimp- the lasagna police will absolutely ticket you for skimping!). Start all over with noodles (no need for extra layer of sauce here- the first one on the bottom of the pan is to keep the noodles from sticking on the very bottom.), then sauce, then ricotta, then mozz. I only have room for 2 layers of each, but if you use a real lasagna pan that's deeper, you might be able to fit 3 layers and that would win you serious kitchen points.

Pour a big, bold red (Cabernet or Merlot), bake up some garlic toast and enjoy. You could enjoy a nice salad too, but why take up room in your gut with that when there's Steppe's Lasagna to be eaten??

Hmmm.... PM coming shortly.

Oh been there and done that far too many times. Super frustrating.

fantastic seafood, of course!
Guests planning to visit Disney's BoardWalk during the February to September refurbishment may enjoy alternate table-service dining at Trattoria al Forno, Big River Grille & Brewing Works
or ESPN Club. Guests looking for fine dining at other signature restaurants may also enjoy Artist Point, Yachtsman Steakhouse and Citricos.)

One little spark, of inspiration
Is at the heart, of all creation.
Right at the start, of everything that's new.
One little spark, lights up for you.

Two tiny wings, eyes big and yellow.
Horn of a steer, but a lovable fellow.
From head to tail, he's royal purple pigment.
And there, viola!, you've got a Figment!

We all have sparks, imaginations.
That's how our minds, create creations.
For they can make, our wildest dreams come true.
Those magic sparks, in me and you.

Imagination, imagination.
A dream, can be a dream come true.
With just that spark, in me and you!

First off, so sorry to hear about the rapid decline of your Aunt in law! Prayers coming your way for strength and support!

Thanks very much!

mmmm... that sounds good.

And replied.

And now I must reply to your reply.

Oh been there and done that far too many times. Super frustrating.

Oh, well. There was a time, back in the cretaceous period when no one had cell phones.
I'll live.

Oopsie. I had the wrong guy.

Yeah he's just down the hall in the bathroom right now.
I'll tell him you called.

mmmm... that sounds good.

OH it is... and was! Although, I may be up at 1:00AM regretting every bite. This old tummy is still a bit rumbly.... :crazy2::sick::scared:

And now I must reply to your reply.

And I yours.

I'm a fan of technology- makes my job easier for sure!! Beats calculations by hand by a long shot!

I'll tell him you called.

Frothy? Squishy? Who in the heck was I trying to reach?? OH, RIIIIIIGHT..... Mr. Smoothie. Great. Now I'm talking to a Mr. Smoothie in a bathroom. That doesn't sound appealing at all. :crazy2:

What's everyone thinking??

Final night there, I'm sure we will be trying to get in a final fling at F&W (NATW as you say) so if it is something in Epcot we'll probably be around. I have an idea I'll share later when I have more time.

Totally can relate. When my Mom started going downhill it happened fast. The difference between visits was tough to see! :sad1:

Quick check of the PP and GF TR, page 21. Pat also posted a pic, my update just after gives the narrative.

Well, do tell.... NATWing is always a good bet. Always. But if folks want a more sit-downy place or time to chat it up, I'm all for that too. Standing by...
