The ABC's of Trip Planning, Pt 1- K is for Keeping Things Kooky- Drinks V-Z; pg. 197 + New Link

Is this what is being looked for?
Well, that escalated quickly! :lmao::rotfl2:

Nothing selfish about it at all! Great reasons for a big full blown vacation, and you've got every right to be proud of it.

And the fact that you have this whole side mother/daughter and sister/sister thing going on here in the TR just shows how completely unselfish you are. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Hopefully your travel party will grow by the time this trip rolls around...

Okay, I'm all caught up again (we were out of town for the weekend to see the married kids).

I've got Marv beat...we've been over 25 times and I have two trips in the books for 2015.

I loved your intros. Your kids, while always lovely, have grown more lovely over the years. :)

And I can't think of a better reason to go to Disney than going back to school and becoming a nurse (as I have complete faith that you will pass those tests).

Sibling fighting. Oh how I remember those days. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

:lmao::lmao: It always seems to! :rotfl2::rotfl2: This crowd is very dependable.

Ha, well too early to be proud of it, other than the pretty decent grade I got in the first term. :teacher::yay: I have a bit more interest the last few days, so am excited about that!

My kids are a lot of fun, and what's most awesome is that they can pretty much keep up with me. Always a bonus!

YAY! You made it over!! :)

Haha, after being off the DIS for about 3 years in general, it took me forever to figure out how to link again. Glad they're coming in handy! Although, I gotta say, the in-between banter can at times be hilarious and more worth reading than my mediocre writing. We have a fun bunch of monkeys that hang out here. ;) :stir:

Every time you see the letter change, you'll know there's more to read... But visit often, you never know what ridiculous hooliganism will show up here.

Yep, I'm all caught up on the hooliganism now as well. :rotfl:

Okay, I'm all caught up again (we were out of town for the weekend to see the married kids).

I've been pretty swamped myself with literally about 16 people in my house for days! I'm slowly recovering and hope I'm rested before classes start on Monday!

I've got Marv beat...we've been over 25 times and I have two trips in the books for 2015.

So. Not. Fair.

Awww, thanks! They're awesome kids! :goodvibes

Thanks, Kathy! I love that I have Team Liesa here on the DIS!!!

Sibling fighting. Oh how I remember those days. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Did it ever get really ugly??

Well, you ARE older than me. ........ :rolleyes1

Oh don't you start with me, Mr. Or we will be having a non-sibling war going on. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Yes, and then he will soon be called a ridiculous hooligan again!! ;):lmao:

I am NOT a ridiculous hooligan!

Exemplary hooligan......... maybe, but definitely not your common everyday ordinary ridiculous variety! ;)

Oooooh. My.

Maybe my girls don't even need to add to the entertainment value here. You guys are ample!!! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Yep, I'm all caught up on the hooliganism now as well. :rotfl:

I told you it was 99% ridiculous and 1% substance around here. :sad2::yay::rotfl2:

I am hoping to get some serious writing done while I"m gone the next few days and give you an update on our little vacay...

Hi Everyone!

I'm Anara, Steppesister's DD. I'm 12 years old and am homeschooling this year.

I've been to DisneyWorld a couple of times and Disneyland twice. I like WDW WAY more than DLR because it's so much bigger and there's a LOT more things to see and do and eat!

I have a pet rat named Bridgette and am hoping to get 2 goats this spring. We are building a shed for them and are putting up some fencing for them.

I am a blue belt in Karate and will take my test for my next belt after my foot gets better. (I broke it last summer, but it took a long time to heal. A cow stepped on it. :scared:)

My favorite Disney princess is Belle because she doesn't fall in love at first sight and isn't stupid.

My dream resort is AKL and I hope we get to stay there, and my favorite memory is going on Splash Mountain over and over and over one night. I really like the fireworks too, especially when Tinkerbelle flies out of the castle. :tinker:

I'm looking forward to being part of this PTR, and sharing our plans with you too.

(Hi Magdelene and Katharina!!)

Hi Anara,
It is good to see you here. :welcome: to the DISboards! :cheer2:

Hi....

Ya'll should know me. MK is for missionary kid. And, obviously, MK. I am DD #1.

Just want you all to know I'm watching you.... always watching.

Anara. Mom said we could start a sibling war.

Hi Rebekah,

Congrats on what looks like a wonderful and beautiful wedding and well, welcome back.

I believe for now I am caught up.

Wonderful intros on everyone. I hope more of the kiddos take you up on this trip. Looking forward to hearing about BIG changes.... :bitelip:

Hi there! Thank you! It was a beautiful wedding, hands down better than a Disney trip. (Am I allowed to say that here??!) I'm not sure yet how much I'll be on with working and all. But I'm here!

I actually have a couple more to introduce, as they suddenly, became contenders in the "Let's all go to Disney World Game". ;) Cue: (Potential) Big Changes

I'm not sure yet how much I'll be on with working and all. But I'm here!

ummmm.... you only work 3 days a week... :confused3:confused3:coffee::happytv::surfweb:

D is for Did I Really??

Gooooooooood Morning!!! (or afternoon, or evening, or middle of the night because you've stayed up way too late again on the DIS....)

I hope your New Year's Celebration is shaping up to be a real whiz-bang affair. I dunno, I'm at the age, I guess, where the definition of that goes sort of like, “Oh wow, it's already 9:00? Don't wanna overdo it and get carried away, better head off to bed.”

This year, like every other for the last 4, we're headed off to somewhere different. Not a REAL vacation, mind you. Because REAL vacations are at Disney, or an all-inclusive place where you don't have to do ANY dishes, cook ANY meals, make ANY beds after you've jumped on them, and there are unlimited clean towels all day long. And they hang the toilet paper right side up. So, while yes, we are going to be gone a few days, and I won't have internet (another mark of it not being a REAL vacation!), we are going away to have some different scenery for a few days.

I'll bet you want to see where...

I know it's not Disney, but saving our pennies is pretty important at this point, being that I have (at least) 5 terms of tuition to pay BEFORE we start paying for our Graduation Celebration Trip. Ok, that was a lie. I actually....

BOUGHT the first 2 park tickets a few days ago!!!!

Yes, I REALLY DID!!!!!!

You heard that right. The first expense of the trip has been plunked down; Disney has extracted GIANT sums of money from my super-secret, never-to-be-mentioned, Disney Trip Account. I'm pretty sure this calls for one of my famous WAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOTY'S. (Say it with me now....Thanks, I heard that from my vacation place, which I'll bet you're still wondering where is, huh?)

Ok, fine. My Facebook friends have seen some pictures of the really awesome place we went for our 25th Anniversary. The big draw is the hot springs pools that are filled with perfectly warm and naturally mineralized waters that you can sit in all day long if you want to. And I just may. While I'm not reading my text for the first exam a week and a half after the term starts on Monday.

If you're ever in Oregon, I would highly recommend this place!

It's called Belknap Hot Springs and has been a resort area since 1850. When I get out of the pool after sitting in it for about an hour and a half, my skin looks like I was born about then. But that's another topic. There are vacation homes, lodge rooms, RV spots with hookups (no, not THAT kind, the kind with electricity), hiking trails, but no restaurant. Which means I have to cook. So, it's not a REAL vacation.

Now, can we have a discussion about US Air Visa cards to get extra $99 tickets?? Anyone have one? Like it? Pros? Cons?? I know SOMEONE out there must have one, and can give me the low down.

I will be MIA now for a few days, unless by some miracle the vacation house does end up having internet, so feel free to banter on in my absence. Keep it civil (I didn't say clean), but I expect to be entertained upon my return. Don't let me down, Team Liesa!!!! :cheer2::cheer2:
